After dealing with high quotes and poor follow-up from other companies, it was refreshing to find a team that was responsive, professional, and made the process stress-free from the very first meeting. Veto was especially accommodating with scheduling and product selections, which made everything even easier. Our old siding had definitely seen better days, and I knew I wanted Hardie siding for its durability and warranty. Learning that Alpine had just won a Hardie Award gave us extra peace of mind. We ultimately chose pre-painted James Hardie lap siding in Iron Gray with crisp Arctic White trim--a combination that completely transformed the house. Neighbors constantly compliment the new look, calling it sharp and coastal. In addition to the siding, Alpine upgraded all our windows to dark brown aluminum PGT impact windows, replaced the soffits with pre-painted white aluminum, and installed two new French doors in the back along with a new storm-resistant front entry door. Having one trusted contractor handle everything--rather than juggling multiple companies--was a huge benefit. The results exceeded our expectations. The Iron Gray siding paired with the bright white trim created a timeless coastal style that fits our Redington Beach neighborhood perfectly. Excel Exteriors Inc. installed a roof on my house in July 2024 and failed to meet the city code,…read morewhich required them to install plywood. Excel would have been paid even more money to install plywood, so it's a mystery why they didn't install plywood. The city inspector told Excel to remove the roof and reinstall it with plywood at their expense, but Excel is ignoring the inspector and the Department of Labor inspector and me the homeowner. Excel's poor workmanship caused water damage to the interior of my home too and they only offered $4000 for the interior damages that are estimated to cost me more than $100k. Dealing with Excel Exteriors has been a disaster. They're still saying, they didn't do anything wrong(!) What a bunch of con artists, they took the money and ran. It's been a year, the house is still a wreck and Excel's owner, Alex Shikhlinski has gone into hiding in Florida, refusing to redo the roof and close out the open permit which will never go away and cost me more than $20k to redo out of pocket.
