I arrived on time and she was busy, she said she was running behind, but clearly took another client, as it was obvious she barely was starting the cut. She asked us to wait, and that's fine, no big deal. She then had the audacity to take someone else after and say, " oh it will only be 5 minutes!" UM, NO. That's just not how it works! She the attempted to admit she as wrong and begging for us to go back inside. Sorry lady, you keep it up and this little shack will soon close its doors. Not a good vibe. P.S. This was our second time going there because we found that it was very close to our home. Never again. Stay away. Drive the distance, not worth it.

I have been going back-and-forth about writing this review because I genuinely don't like leaving…read morebad reviews. I went here back in March and at the time I requested for a color correction Ruzanna did the color correction and I was okay with it but my roots were left orange. She started she was not able to get them lighter because according to her my hair couldn't take it. I let this go and didn't notice the crown breakage that started but I had taken a picture that day and you can see how it had started . I went again in May with Ruzzana and once again was left with orange roots and more crown breakage this time more hair fell out. This time it was extremely noticeable. I had to cut off most of my hair because the fall out would not stop. It is now July and my hair finally stopped breaking. The entire back of my hair is 2inches long and I can't even hide it with braids. I have cried for months about this and had to cut my hair in a bob. I have spent so much money on treatments like k-18 and even bought a shower filter. I am now resorting to buying wigs because the hair is completely unfixable. I am beyond upset about this and I hope if you are white blonde you avoid this place. I had done ghost roots so that I wouldn't damage my hair. This was supposed to be the color of my hair for my wedding in September of next year. I highly doubt I'll be able to grow it back to the length I had it above my boobs by then but I hope this serves as a warning to others who have dark hair who are trying to go to white blonde with someone who doesn't know how to do it properly. I will likely have to cut the rest of my hair off because the breakage is so bad and my hair is completely uneven.

I used to live just minutes away, but after moving to the Inland Empire last year, my appointments now mean about a four-hour round trip. The salon has such a beautiful atmosphere, and the entire team is warm, friendly, and attentive. They treat every client like family, and I always appreciate the little touches like Armenian coffee and snacks while I'm there. I've had several services done over the years, including hair extensions with Star and haircuts with Susan, and I've been so happy with the results every time. I even brought my mom in while she was visiting from Northern California for a haircut, color, and highlights, and she absolutely loved how her hair turned out. After more than three years of coming here, what stands out most is their consistency. The quality of their work, the welcoming environment, and the level of care have never changed, and that's why I continue making the drive. I highly recommend The Beauty Room LA to anyone looking for talented stylists and exceptional service.
