I had to come back and do a review because my latest visit to Glo Salon was that good. I recently got Gel-X nails, and I'm honestly obsessed with how beautiful they turned out. The shape is flawless, the finish is clean and elegant, and they feel so lightweight and natural -- not bulky at all. The attention to detail was amazing, and they really took their time to make sure everything looked perfect. My nails have been holding up beautifully, with zero lifting, and I keep getting compliments. If you're considering Gel-X, Glo Salon is absolutely the place to go. Highly recommend! read more

She also was very gentle with my fingers. Most techs are not. My skin and joints are sensitive because of an immune disorder, and she was very careful with my fingers. My nails are perfect! This salon is the best! Had a hair emergency with color and they got back to me asap in the yelp projects late one night. They got my daughter in next day and did an amazing job with color correction from home hair dye. I'm giving three stars because while the esthetician was very sweet and kind, the facial itself was disappointing. I went in expecting a professional facial with extractions and proper skin analysis, but there was no magnifying light, no mirror, and no extractions done at all. It felt more like a simple cleansing with a few basic masks -- the kind you could easily find at Marshalls for $4.99 each. I had my facial on Friday, and by Saturday, under my own magnifying light at home, I could still see blackheads all over my nose. For the price I paid, I definitely didn't feel I got my money's worth. read more

I was unsure about posting this review but ultimately decided to share my experience. In short, my visit did not meet my expectations. The manager did everything to fix it and the trim I got was fine. My issue was that I had asked for haircut for curly hair and it was evident the stylist did not have that experience. She used the wrong brush and no diffuser. No amount of "she has 15 years of experience" will change my mind that she knew how to handle curly hair. I appreciate that the manager really did her best to make sure I was satisfied. Everyone seemed nice and I wish them luck with the salon. read more

The owner blames the worker and the worker blames the owner. They are rude and dont care about your appointments. I needed a haircut desperately and I called to schedule an appointment. This was right after Christmas so I was calling around to see who can take me in. They put me down on their schedule and then that day asked me if I could show up earlier. I said sure. I showed up too early and Stella wasn't ready for me yet, she had another client doing a pedicure. I was fine and walked around then came back. Another lady washed my hair first. She also asked me if I wanted coffee or water but I declined. I showed Stella the bob I wanted and she went to work. I hoped she would understand because neither lady spoke English very well, but Stella did a really good job! I now have great hair for my NYE party. She cut it the way I wanted it--short in the back, long in front. And it was only $45! So I tipped her a $20. Definitely will be coming back. read more

Marla and Diana are miracle workers. I came into the salon in crisis mode. After spending 3 months in the hospital, I ended up with a massive knot of hair on the top of my head. I had Gel X nails done on Saturday 12/13. The lady doing my nails was not organized. There was a language barrier and she kept talking to her colleagues and getting distracted. I paid $90.00 because I got a design. My thumb nail just fell off today. I would not recommend then for nail service. I also kept asking her to make them shorter and she said she couldn't do that.
