I have been going back-and-forth about writing this review because I genuinely don't like leaving bad reviews. I went here back in March and at the time I requested for a color correction Ruzanna did the color correction and I was okay with it but my roots were left orange. She started she was not able to get them lighter because according to her my hair couldn't take it. I let this go and didn't notice the crown breakage that started but I had taken a picture that day and you can see how it had started . I went again in May with Ruzzana and once again was left with orange roots and more crown breakage this time more hair fell out. This time it was extremely noticeable. I had to cut off most of my hair because the fall out would not stop. It is now July and my hair finally stopped breaking. The entire back of my hair is 2inches long and I can't even hide it with braids. I have cried for months about this and had to cut my hair in a bob. I have spent so much money on treatments like k-18 and even bought a shower filter. I am now resorting to buying wigs because the hair is completely unfixable. I am beyond upset about this and I hope if you are white blonde you avoid this place. I had done ghost roots so that I wouldn't damage my hair. This was supposed to be the color of my hair for my wedding in September of next year. I highly doubt I'll be able to grow it back to the length I had it above my boobs by then but I hope this serves as a warning to others who have dark hair who are trying to go to white blonde with someone who doesn't know how to do it properly. I will likely have to cut the rest of my hair off because the breakage is so bad and my hair is completely uneven. read more

Salon management is 0 stars while the stylist, Diana, gets 5 stars. I had gotten a haircut from Astgxik (spelling?) before, so I sent the salon a message asking about her availability. I received a reply that only had the salon's operating hours, and management never responded to my specific question. As such, Astgxik lost a client for the day. Luckily, Diana was available as her client canceled, and I was able to get a haircut as a walk-in. She executed the cut perfectly based on the pictures. I plan on making Diana my regular stylist. I just wish management would improve its communication with customers. No loss from now on, as Diana has her own contact information, and I can text or call without issues. read more

I will no longer be going to this salon after 15 years. The new owner refuses to turn on the air conditiong. It was 85 in the salon when I was there last week. This is not only bad for the customers but products that are used in a salon can go bad with extreme heat. The owners respose below is incorrect. I was there for 4 hours this past week during business hours, the a/c unit was off. 85 is not a comfortable temperature. This this my the 2nd visit in the past 6 weeks. It is never turned on, just the fan no A/C. read more

5 stars for Ani here at Glo. I requested a GelX fill and gave her a picture of what I wanted my nails to look like. She matched my nails perfectly to the photo. She also was very gentle with my fingers. Most techs are not. My skin and joints are sensitive because of an immune disorder, and she was very careful with my fingers. My nails are perfect! I went in expecting a professional facial with extractions and proper skin analysis, but there was no magnifying light, no mirror, and no extractions done at all. It felt more like a simple cleansing with a few basic masks -- the kind you could easily find at Marshalls for $4.99 each. I had my facial on Friday, and by Saturday, under my own magnifying light at home, I could still see blackheads all over my nose. I was unsure about posting this review but ultimately decided to share my experience. In short, my visit did not meet my expectations. The manager did everything to fix it and the trim I got was fine. My issue was that I had asked for haircut for curly hair and it was evident the stylist did not have that experience. She used the wrong brush and no diffuser. No amount of "she has 15 years of experience" will change my mind that she knew how to handle curly hair. I appreciate that the manager really did her best to make sure I was satisfied. Everyone seemed nice and I wish them luck with the salon. read more

They never honor their appointments. If you have an appointment you expect to be seen. The workers complain and talk bad about the owner to their clients. The owner blames the worker and the worker blames the owner. They are rude and dont care about your appointments. They left me hanging before an event i had to go to and never took me in although I had an appointment. Very rude and unprofessional. Please save yourself don't go. read more

I needed a haircut desperately and I called to schedule an appointment. This was right after Christmas so I was calling around to see who can take me in. They put me down on their schedule and then that day asked me if I could show up earlier. I said sure. I showed up too early and Stella wasn't ready for me yet, she had another client doing a pedicure. I was fine and walked around then came back. Another lady washed my hair first. She also asked me if I wanted coffee or water but I declined. I showed Stella the bob I wanted and she went to work. I hoped she would understand because neither lady spoke English very well, but Stella did a really good job! I now have great hair for my NYE party. She cut it the way I wanted it--short in the back, long in front. And it was only $45! So I tipped her a $20. Definitely will be coming back. read more
