It's rare that I'll meet someone that actually encouraged me to spend less money, but here we are. I came in for a simple buzz-cut but I have to say that Serena was not only incredibly friendly and wonderful to chat with, but I almost forgot I was in there for a haircut at all. And while the general vibe was relaxed and laid back, she actually gave me practical advice about my hair growing out and layering it with a 3 and a 1 and the results are admittedly very nice. I'm going to be back once my now mostly bald head is grown again, but rest assured I'm very excited to come in for another chat. Cheers! read more

Always a great experience! Serena and Kozet are both awesome! I'm always very satisfied with my haircut.

Where do we start I might not have anymore hair on this silky smooth skull of mine, but the beard is a different story a cross between Paul Bunyan meets a Kodiak grizzly. That requires a unique individual that can tackle the task of making me look as good as I sound and Kozet has never failed at making this beard look silky smooth. I highly recommend her for all things hair related Tell her PK recomme read more

Serena is hands down the best there is; with the skill set of an old school barber, the conversation skills of a stylist and a beyond warm and welcoming demeanor. The buffalo vibes are plentyful in this hidden gem with good music at the perfect volume. While a straight razor would be appreciated the end product knows no difference. I was pretty upset after I left this place. It took me so long to grow my sons hair only for it to be butchered within minutes by Serena. I brought my 2 yr old son here for the first time to get a haircut. His birthday was coming up and wanted him to look good for his birthday. I asked for an all around trim but to still keep his length. I even showed her a hair inspo. Well, my sons hair turned out nothing close to the picture I showed her. My family saw my son and thought I was the one who cut my his hair. I'm so dissapointed and wish I would've went with the other woman who was working there. I think her name is Kozet. Now my son will have ugly hair for his birthday. read more

I've never had a designated barber growing up. I literally just went to anyone/anywhere: Supercuts, Floyd's, Fantastic Sam's, you name it. I tried them all and never got a good consistent cut with any of them. But then I met Serena and Kozet. They always cut my hair to my EXACT liking and it's always consistent every time. I used to live nearby this location but now I'm further away, however, I still make the drive to get my tapered fade! Totally worth it and great people as well. When it comes to hair, let's face it as guys we're clueless. Thanks to Serena, I no longer feel that way. I don't have to feel alone in the world to fend off all of the Gen-Zers taking pictures of my #badhairday or #neckbeard anymore thanks to Serena as she takes what I have and takes me from looking homeless before to after looking like a million bucks ready to take on the world. The full treatment with a shampoo, cut and shave really makes you realize how much a good hair cut and experience can make in your day and life. I am thankful that I have found a great place and great stylist with Serena and XO Cuts since before when I jumped from super cuts to star cuts to cuts r us to sports clips it was just a hair cut bc I needed one, but now it is my monthly get away that is more than just a haircut it is my pampering gift to myself. XO Cuts - Lobby with coffee and snacks! - Barbers Near Me - La Cañada Flintridge, California

Serena did an amazing job saving my sons botched haircut from a chain hair cut salon. He's had long hair for years, mid-back length. He was ready for a "big boy" haircut going into kindergarten. The chain hair cut salon cut his hair to shoulder length, no depth or movement whatsoever. It looked like a bob, awful. She was able to squeeze us in THE DAY BEFORE SCHOOL STARTED and worked her magic. To say we were happy with his cut is an understatement, she is so talented, you will not regret it. I will only trust her with cutting my sons hair. read more

Kozet knows what she is doing. She is highly skilled in her craft. Definitely would recommend if someone looking for a stylist.

Serena and Kozet opened up a great little, intimate shop in the heart of La Canada! The service is still top-notch-- Serena has been cutting my hair for years and I don't trust anyone else to do the job. I'm very happy for her and her business partner-- you aren't rushed, the appointment system makes it easy to get seen, and you've got the intimacy without having to worry about the 10 guys waiting to be seen next. A+ experience and I only wish my hair grew at a faster pace so that I could go there more often. read more
