Klara is the sweetest, and she's a great hairdresser! She gives you exactly what you ask for, and if there are any small tweaks, they're just to make you look cuter. She knows what she's doing and, depending on your needs, can do a luxurious hair washing, cut and style, or a quick scissor cut, and it looks great! Her prices are reasonable, too! I heard from couple of my friends that Klara is an awesome hairstylist. So I decided to give it a try. And I am so happy I did. She is AMAZING! I am a very picky and straight forward person. And believe me she definitely knows what she is doing. Very nice and professional, calm and kind. I liked my haircut so much , went back with my daughter for her haircut. Haircut turned into hair dye afterwards. Here are before and after pictures. Will highly recommend her business. Give it a try! read more

I needed a quick eye brow fix one day and found this place. I made an appointment, showed up on time and I waited for 5 minutes. It didn't matter. Tell you what,I am no Prima Donna. The ladies here were friendly. I thought she was going to do the threading but she waxed them. Anyway,my eye brows turned from caveman to a cave woman's. I am 100% satisfied. BTW,it's $10 plus $3 tip=$13 for a great 5-minute work! Happy face! read more

Male short hair - Definitely 5/5 stars. I've been to Klara's about 5 times now, and every time my hair has been cut perfectly. I know my haircut isn't the most difficult, but the fact that Klara always takes the time to get it perfect and not rush me out the door really means something. She is very cheerful and has an amazing memory. The price is very reasonable and I feel like a valued customer. read more

I was happy the first time I went in but my second time Kara dyed my hair...... I noticed hours later I had grays in my roots . When I washed my hair it was as in bad condition for me the dye job. Klara said she would fix it but if she didn't get it right the first time I can't take a chance for her to have a repeat performance. Klara is a friendly woman & I feel bad it didn't work out . read more

Ever since we tried out Klara's Haircut we haven't gone anywhere else! First of all, Klara is the sweetest lady in town! She welcomes everyone in to her shop with a warm caring smile and sweet tone. Secondly, she is the absolute best at hair styling and cuttting! I can show Klara a photo of what I want my hair to look like and she can replicate it to the T! She's a true artist! She also manages to pull it off in a short amount of time. Klara is very honest with you and also provides you with tips for maintaining or dealing with your hair. And unlike many hair shops, she doesn't charge an arm and a leg to cut and style your hair. Extremely reasonable and fair priced. She deserves an outstanding tip because she truly gives you an amazing haircut for half the price of any other shop. If you haven't tried out this place yet, don't be afraid to give it a shot! She is located under the vape shop in the tan building off Foothill Blvd. read more

I have been going to this place for years and I'm a very satisfied costumer. I just noticed the yelp logo on windows coming out today. The place is super clean and nice ,modern, not pricy all and best costumer service. I'll recommend this place to all yelp review readers. read more

Finally found a person who cuts my hair the way I request it. Normally, I get someone who needs too much instruction and then doesn't get what I said anyway. The other type of stylist listens attentively, shows clear understanding of my request and then goes off and does whatever they want regardless of what I said. I want some areas left long and others trimmed, not cut. Why is that so hard to comprehend? So far, that concept has eluded most stylists who just want everything to be the same length because that is what they learned. First time in her shop, Klara gets it right. My happiest haircut in years and the bonus was that she only charged me $10. I am going to be a repeat customer and encourage others to go there. read more

This hairdresser is a real gem, I'm so glad I've found her. For many years I had a great colorist who expensively had maintained my blonde woven hair color. But since I had moved to this area I have been extremely unhappy with the hair color that the local salon here performed on my hair. Had in fact given up on finding anyone close by who can tone weave and highlight like what I've been used to. That was Before I found Klara! I came in with roots growing in and gray hair all over and she understood right away how to color match the right toner, and which light blonde highlight color would make it just a gorgeous blend and just perfect. She's a really sweet warm person and I can't wait to see her again for the next time. She colors fantastically. I also saw a few brunette woven things that she had done and she's intuitive and very delicate in her color work. I Will be adding a picture later, but I gotta tell ya, Klaras haircut is a great local find. And her hair color service prices are so wonderful too. Don't wait, go!! read more

Klara is the best! Will be coming back. She was informative & gave me a great hair cut. Not to mention she is a sweet person

I was in dire need of a haircut, stumbled upon Klara's Haircut review and decided to come in and try the ombré style. The owner, Klara is absolutely wonderful. She made me feel like one of her regular clients although I have only been in there for the first time. She really took care of me even when she was working with another client... from beginning to end the service was top notch. I loved my haircut and color. It's very difficult for me to find someone who can cut my hair to my standards, I'm glad I finally found the place. I'm just sorry I haven't found this place sooner! The establishment is also very clean and the environment is very friendly. Thank you so much, I feel great and I look great! I will return soon and bring my family! :) read more

My review is from my boyfriend who does not have an yelp account.. He has recently found a hair salon near his house who he says upon walking in he notice how clean the hair salon is unlike the other hair salons in tujunga area...and he says how affordable it at only $10.. Since he likes his hair pretty short he always has to go every 2 weeks so at only $10 he can afford it and it looks amazing.. He also said the owner Klars is extreme nice and sweet who listen to his needs and does an amazing job with the fades which most hairsalon can't do and always leave a line but Klaras knows exactly how to do fades ...he will definitely be back over here and he also gave his friends klaras business cards !!!! read more

Klara is the most amazing hair stylist you will ever come across. She is very caring and warm hearted and does her job incredibly well. I went in with the most damaged hair and came out with healthy and beautiful hair thanks to her. I wanted a change so I asked her if she can put some blue tint into black hair and it came out great. I don't let anyoneeeeeee touch my hair except Klara. When you tell her to just trim less than an inch that's exactly what she does unlike other hair stylists and salons that chop your hair off. My brother also goes there. I love her magic touch she really knows what she's doing. read more

Came in for a much needed trim after I received a new style from another salon and simply could not afford paying for the price of my other stylist. Saw the awesome reviews for Klara and they definitely weren't lying. I can't overstate enough how amazing Klara is and how well she cut my hair. She didn't over cut and made it look as good as when I first got it styled. Definitely will be coming back again and thank goodness she is so close to where I live. I cannot recommend her enough! read more

This is my go to place to get a hair cut. Klara is is always friendly and does a great job. I don't have a thick head of hair and she knows how to cut it perfectly. I have been to other places in the neighborhood and they cut it too short which makes me look like a balding man. These other places tend to take out the clippers and wack away. Klara on the other hand takes her time and makes sure that I always look professional. Make sure to call before hand because her hours can sometimes vary. read more

We all know finding somebody to actually listen when you say "cut only 3 inches" is so hard when getting your haircut, well we actually found somebody who listened to everything we asked for. I went with my younger sister to cut, color, and blow dry her hair and we definitely crossed our fingers because it is our first time here. My sister has really curly hair and has had the most horrible experience with her Ombré before and had paid nearly $300 for nothing but disappointment. Klara is the sweetest person and will ask you if you are okay with every step. She literally stopped and explained everything she was doing before doing it. She explained the colors and made sure it was what my sister wanted and didn't just assume. We came in with a vision and left extremely satisfied. We were given Armenian coffee and this amazing bread as we were there for a few hours and their customer service made us feel very welcome and we had many good laughs in between. My sister has paid DOUBLE of what she paid today and has been so disappointed with high end salons in the past. This change was worth every penny. She was so understanding and took her time even though her salon was flooded with clients. We thank you Klara for your amazing service and we will definitely be coming back to you! read more

I'm always running late, I never have enough time to do ANYTHING. I'm one of those people who expect the world to revolve around me (so horrible I know, I swear I'm working on it), I called up Klara asking if she had any spots open, she invited me down and was there within 15 min. Her salon is VERY clean and sanitary, I was actually pretty shocked how clean it was compared to elsewhere. She is SO friendly and wonderful! Her and I couldn't stop chatting about everything, she never missed a beat and was on point with her cut. Plus this place was only $10 too! I believe this is how it should be done, never experienced a great cut and customer service? Then try out Klara!! read more
