Super cool small noodles bar located very close to the Powder Tower with delicious food and amazing, quick and very polite service. Such a little treasure in an area filled with tourist traps. The interior is clean and orderly with nice lighting and decorations. The menu looked like all the bases were covered, I can't wait to go back and try the dim sum. I was just stopping in for my favorite Thai dessert, sticky rice with mangos. It was very well prepared. The mango was fresh and the rice with coconut milk was just the right amount and flavorful. So the prices comparatively are a bit high for Prague, but when you are jonesing for some Asian food, this is not a bad place to find some. The Penang curry has nice heat, but is a touch bland. The Zebra special noodles was a bit one-dimensional, nothing to write home about. The place is clean and modern with decent service. Had a very nice sate kai, followed by a deliciously spicy tom kha kai (asked for extra spicy). As main course I had bamboo duck stir fried rice (extra spicy too). We love Prague! The variety of people & food is wonderful and Zebra is a great example. We had their chicken/bean-thread (transparent) noodle entre, which was fresh & nicely prepared, but their coconut curry mushroom soup was a highlight - a must-try. I had the chicken fired rice. Might have been the best ever. Not your typical Chinese takeout from the US. The chicken came in large portions and was still juicy. I've eaten here about a dozen times. The food is great and the atmosphere is casual. My favorite is the pad thai, but I'm not a big fan of the bean sprouts on there so they let me sub them out for carrots and broccoli at no extra charge. We decided to come here after being a bit burnt out on sausages/meat and potatoes for the last week and a half while traveling through Germany, Austria, and Prague. We ordered the chicken dumplings (gyoza), pad see ew noodles, and another spicy beef dish with Jasmin rice and a cooked egg on top. Everything was very tasty and the spicy beef dish definitely had a good kick to it! They have large bottles of Sriracha if you need even more spice :) I noticed some reviews on here marked down for service, but all of the employees at this restaurant when we came were very pleasant, helpful, and attentive. They also all said goodbye to us as we were leaving, even the cooks! Also, prices were pretty reasonable, our meal (app + 2 entrees) with 3 drinks came out to around $40 USD. read more

Prague was midway in our Eastern Europe trip and after a week of schnitzel, sausage, no vegetables other than cabbage in soup ..... this was a welcome treat. Everything from the Spring Rolls, Thai Soups, Pad Thai, Stir Fried Vegetables was good. Not super expensive but a little more than a regular Thai spot its in the tourist area. Big windows to people watch while you chow down on the elusive fresh vegetable, peppers, bok choy, spinach, red and green peppers and snow peas (its amazing how you miss veggies a week into Eastern Europe)............. a) Staff speak English (and menu's in English) b) Sure its in a tourist spot but the vegetables and food were very good (soups, stir fries, spring rolls, vietnamese rolls....our friends and I had many different meals here) c) Staff are very friendly and efficient d) Let us relax - have food - sip tea (there are fresh juices too Carrot etc) Since its near all the shopping we made this a place where we connected several times while shopping, walking and connecting with friends in the area. read more

My dish was quite bland and just did not have a great taste overall. I left a decent amount and before paying I told the waiter that it had been bland and I didn't like it very much. He was extremely rude and raised his voice in telling me that it was too late to tell him that, that I had eaten too much of it. I am always on the lookout for amazing Thai resultants and Zebra Express makes the cut. I had the Tom Kha with chicken and was pleasantly surprised. It was rich in flavor! For dinner I had the panang curry and while it was delicious it had no heat to it. Needless to say I finished it and would order it again. My husband had the Pad Thai and really loved it. However, threw was nothing "express" about it. I finished the soup and half of my dish before my daughter's pad Thai showed up. Big mistake ordering dessert - it took another 25 minutes for them to put a scoop of sticky rice, a dollop of coconut milk and 4 tiny slices of mango on a plate. I lived in Amsterdam for 3 years, so I understand, but more than 2 hours there is ridiculous. I was craving for some light Asian food after days of heavy Czech food. This place satisfied my expectations. The lemonade was refreshing, the cucumber water was AMAZING (must-try if you like cucumber). My girlfriend and I ordered a small soup and green curry to share. The plate is big enough to feed 2 people. Service was exceptional, the staff spoke perfect english and they were professional. I would have given it 5 stars, but the green curry was a bit too watery (could have added more coconut milk, honestly). The food was very good and it was very close to the center of town. We went there twice on our trip. the first time for take out and the second time we sat down and ate. Both experience we enjoyed.
