Queensland burgerlords doing their thing in Sydney... Mad props for having burgers that are so funky fresh. The donut burger and the pablo escoburger are so crazy. They're not the best tasting burgers but I'd gladly eat it again cause it's so crazy. (maybe not the donut burger, it was way too sweet with the sugar glazed donut and the maple bacon) Really nice atmosphere with great tunes. The cocktails are actually really good. Not normally a fan of cocktails but they were very good.

Good burgers! Ordered the Mexican one and vegetarian one with great flavor. Be careful because the Mexican one is a little spicy but in a good way. The atmosphere is very loud so be warned. And you only get one glass of water, so use it wisely :) would recommend, for burgers and probably also drinks if you don't want to hear conversation.

Ze Pickle has been on my 'to visit' list for a while. Huge burgers, drinks and insane desserts, all with interesting choice of names! I got the "yo mum" burger which was a brioche style bun with a Wagyu patty, cheese, fries (yes on the burger), truffle flavour, bacon (an addition) and of course, a pickle! It wasn't as big as the pictures appear but it was delicious. I enjoyed it a lot. They have other options like vegetarian, chicken, pulled pork and other meat combos. There's also loaded fries, wings and incredibly crazy chocolates topped desserts, one called "whothef#%^is max Brenner". It was table service, but seemed to take forever to order, and ask for the bill, they needed another staff member on I believe. They are also a bar, serving beer on tap, cocktails and an interesting range of cocktails too. Come for the burgers and get some add ons.

Burgers x Hip Hop…read more I could leave it at that but actually I can't because this place has it going on in a way that makes me proud to be alive. Was going to try the cheeseburger until the guy at the counter told me about an off-menu burger called B.W.A. (an homage to NWA. Straight outta Roesebery, yo!). It's a double stack jacked up with cheese and bacon and house made hot sauce and it's f--king delicious, like a light from heaven shines down on you when you're eating it and the devil pops up to give you a hot sauce high five all at the same time. These dudes love music - they're DJs and man the decks on Saturday nights - but they also love their mums, so much that they named their fresh juices after them. I mean. Can you just. Which is to say, that is all right in my book. Oh, and try the tater tots. They come in a tin pail and are pretty great. The chocolate shakes are drizzled with a ton of chocolate syrup and frothed up the wazoo, it's a heady mix. Ain't nobody doing what these guys are doing.

F me. This place…read moreopened up less than 10 minute walk from my house and it contains two things that I love. Burgers and Hip Hop. I don't know how I didn't know about this place earlier since it opened about a month ago...but I've been twice in less than a week now, and probably coming up on three times soon. They have hip hop tunes playing constantly, and sometimes they'll have someone on the 1's and 2's. They offer several types of burgers from their Belfield Burger, their Cheeseburger, their Chicken (fried) burger, their Pork burger, a Veggie burger, and two brekkie burgers. Each of these is $8-12. Sides come at $5 a pop and can be chips, wedges, fried mushrooms, or tater tots. If you want wings they're $10 a pop. They also serve beer and wine if you're keen. The burgers can be customised as well, so if you want to add another patty, add some bacon, add more cheese, add onion rings or whatever else you desire they can probably do that. I've had their cheeseburger (double,) chicken burger, and their current special the BWA, which is a tribute to Straight Outta Compton and kind of huge and ridiculous. The chicken burger was only OK for me, I love their buns and the chicken was cooked fine, it was just a little bland and needed just a little more flavour. The cheeseburger was AWESOME...just burger porn to the fullest. Medium rare patty, melted gooey cheese, what's not to like? This burger is a pretty dirty and greasy burger like Mary's so if that's your style you'll enjoy this one. BWA was just a monster and had a bit of a spicy kick. This place is trouble for me...

Sorry maybe I need to stop comparing, but when you find a good burger and fries stick to it. Too bad no Five Guys in Sydney, they don't know what they missing. I got the Outback Burger which was small and flavorless, my Hubby got the Deluxe Burger it had a big beet on it, I've never seen that before, that was different. He wasn't impressed with his either. We also got Fries(Chips) is what they call them with a Soda. The Burgers are ridiculously overpriced we paid $39 for Burgers that weren't fulfilling. And they surcharge you $1 for using your Credit Card, because they don't accept American Cash, seriously who turns down American Cash?

A order/pick up at the counter style restaurant with a small selection of burgers, sides, shakes and beer. There's a decent line up as you would expect with the hype but they've got a good system going pumping them burgers out fast! The patties aren't wagyu, but it doesn't need to be because the grass fed beef patties are cooked to perfection, topped with melted cheese, pickles, minimal veggies between 2 buttery, sugary buns. Nom.

Milk Bar by Cafe Ish is in a once-forgotten, swiftly gentrifying strip of Regent Street, Redfern. At the Milk Bar, there are a few things to note. They bake "absolutely bloody everything" (their terminology, not mine), and it's all absolutely bloody tasty. Seriously good stuff. Tarts! Nut Tart! Jam Tart! Lemon Tart! Best to come here very hungry, and on a sugar low. One of the main benefits of the Milk Bar is it's sooooo cheap! Cheese burgers are $5!!! they're small but tasty fare indeed. The patties are meaty and don't taste processed, and usually served with some well cooked onions and tasty sauce. You can have everything doubled up for $9, and then add other extras - so it's kind of a build-you-own burger situation. Another big deal: they have generously made milkshakes -- weird and wonderful flavours like the choc-coconutty "bounty" or the caramel miso shake, or salted peanut butter and jelly, or Super choc, or Orient express (with green tea ice cream in it). Like I said, come here on a sugar low, and Milk Bar will sort you out. One note: the space itself is pretty awful. They don't seem to have sorted out the exhaust fan situation so it's smoky, smells like hot chip oil, and right now kinda cold. They've only been open 2 weeks so that might be something they get sorted with time. The other option is to sit outside on Regent street, which is sunny but very busy with road traffic. Look, I'm not complaining much, it is so delightful to have such a cheap, amazing quality cafe nearby. The owners are sometimes a bit stressed, but they're very sweet and they mean well. And they can cook. NB: Cash only right now. Oh right - AND THEY HAVE A JUKE BOX!!

They are huge -- I had the bacon, double cheeseburger and skipped the chips because I knew I wouldn't have room for anything else. It's legit. Next time I want to try the milkshakes.
