Best moussaka I have ever had and I'm old. There were four of us dining and we were all pleased especially with the iskender and hummus. Small, casual atmosphere which lends itself to gracious and quick service. Generous portions. They even gave us their wonderful rice pudding gratis. Couldn't have enjoyed it more. read more

I don't post a lot of reviews, but this might be the best lamb/beef gyro plate I've ever had. The meat was ridiculously juicy and flavorful, and such a healthy portion that I'm running out of rice and bread to go with it! That's a good meat to carb ratio! Very different from many other gyro places where the meat is dried and less plentiful. I sat dine-in and had a great experience. Would highly recommend you come try this place! read more

Good food but the service was incredibly slow. We ordered takeout and they said food would be ready in 15-20. When I arrived after 25 minutes it still wasn't ready. I waited another 20 minute and in the process witnessed someone else waiting wanting to get a refund and someone at a table saying she wanted to cancel her order because they'd waited so long. I'm hoping these are kinks they'll work out but I can only share my experience at the time. read more

Today, a very close friend and I went there for lunch. They brought us yesterday's leftover chicken döner, yesterday's leftover meat döner, and yesterday's leftover rice. We didn't want to eat these and asked them to take them back, and they took our money, including the food. They keep waiting and selling it. I don't recommend this place at all. read more

This place is very good -- and a great value, too, as they give you a lot of food for the money. I had the Lamb & Beef Gyro Plate that comes with rice, salad and hummus, and a pita. Now this is not the kind of gyro that you'll find at Nick The Greek, wherw they more or less grind up the lamb & beef and it has a sort of smooth consistency. Here it's made where the two meats are somehow put together without being ground and so they retain their original consistency. I gather that this is the more traditional type of gyro. With that, however, you get much more of that 'gamey' lamb flavor which, depending on what you like, may or may not be a great thing. I myself prefer the lamb to not be as forward in taste, so I do prefer the more ground-up version -- but it was still good. The hummus is very decent, not the ultimate I've had, but good. And the pita is the nice really thick kind, and I loved that. As a matter of fact, given there was so much food, I wish I'd had TWO pieces of pita and I'll remember that for next time. The rice was nice and 'al dente' with great flavor and the side salad was simple but nicely prepared. I'd like to go back and maybe try the kofta. Owner is the nicest guy. It's definitely a place to visit once and see how you like it. read more

We drove to Pacifica from SF for the day, and someone recommended this restaurant and we are SO GLAD we went. Excellent Turkish food! Delicious, good presentation, generous portions. The service was fast and extremely friendly. They brought us complimentary Turkish tea and Turkish Delight ( candy) . In a mall so lots of parking. I will definitely be back and often. I got the chicken kebab plate that was super tasteful! The first thing I tried was the hummus and naan which i really enjoyed! Loved the rice and the chicken but wish there were more chicken pieces. My boyfriend got the chicken wrap that came with the yogurt sauce and it definitely HIT! For dessert we got the knafeh and THAT was the show stopper! Super flakey with a generous amount of honey! The pistachios inside gave it a good crunch! The best thing about this is that we took our food to go and ate it on the beach, and was still super fresh and delicious! Tried the wrap with beef and lamb it was kinda dry. What was really interesting was that it was sweet? Had a mayo sauce that tasted like French dressing that would go on a burger. No hummis or tahine sauce anywhere to be found. Prefer Nick the Greek's wraps. But if you're out by the water in Pacifica and crave Mediterranean, I guess this is the only game in town. read more

The coffee was served in beautiful cups. The Knafeh was delicious! Crunchy on the outside and soft with cheese on the inside. You will not be disappointed. It is to die for! We dined in and had an amazing experience! We ordered the lamb kebab and beef kebab plates. The rice was very flavorful and meat was very tender. We were also delighted to try the baklava which paired excellently with the Turkish tea. The restaurant is small with limited seating, but very clean and beautifully decorated! Parking is easy in the plaza. Prices are a little bit on the higher end for lamb and beef kebab plates compared to others we have dined at. read more

Aftwr surfing in Linda Mar, I stopped here for some good food because i love Mediterranean cuisine, it just so clean and simple yet delicious cuisine. This was a good addition to the Pacifica! I tried their special of the day which was a Beef and Bean Stew, basically Turkish Home Style of Beef Chilies but a bit different , it cane with Rice and Salad, and them i finished the meal with Turkish Coffee and Delight! There was real flatware on the table. We ordered our food, red lentil soup, tzatziki with pita bread, lamb and beef gyro wrap. The food came and well presented. The food was excellent!
