Probably the most authentic Indian/Pakistani food in Krakow. The waiter said the food was halal/zabiha (kosher), but I don't think it is advertised that way.
The food was very authentic and the prices are reasonable. I believe we paid 80-90 Zloty for 2 meals. Chicken Jalfrezi was very tasty. The rice and naan were great too. Water is not free; it is about the same price as getting a soft drink. They advertise "Dum Biryani" on weekends (Fri/Sat/Sun). Tried that on Friday. Not like homemade, but better than most places who just mix the rice and curry together on order. If you expect this "Dum Biryani" like the ones made for weddings in India/Pakistan, you will be disappointed.
The place is very unassuming (read modest), but very clean and the staff (owner & waiter) are very friendly and nice. Overall, impressed with the authenticity and flavor of the food. You will pay little less than the places in the main town on the other side of the river, and the flavor is better. This place is very close to Schindler's factory museum. read more
