I loved trying fast food spots that aren't offered where I live, and Zaxby's did not disappoint! I got the meal that came with tenders and popcorn chicken, and it also came with a slice of toast. I was able to choose two sauces and opted for the Sweet & Spicy and Spicy Zax sauce. Sauce wise, I definitely preferred the Spicy Zax sauce which is the classic sauce but with a spicy kick. If you are looking for a place with good food, you should definitely check this place out! However, I would recommend going through the drive thru, to bypass the chaos. Terrible Terrible Terrible Experience! I only gave this place 2 stars because I actually enjoyed the food. Should really think about the people who they place upfront to deal with the customers because it can make or break someone's experience. Phones were out, loud sidebar conversations (during our entire interaction may I add). Very slow service, I would say it may have been due to low staff but there were enough people on the floor and in the back (in my opinion) to make the process a lot easier for everyone. Bathrooms were locked and only the employees can open them for you. That's fine, however, there was no one readily available. You had to wait in line to ask for assistance. Witnessed one of the workers unlock the bathroom while someone was inside. Mind you, I think it's common sense, to knock before you enter, especially being that this is a single stall bathroom. IT WAS LOCKED, so even more reason to check to see if it is occupied before attempting to enter with a code/key. After church, I had a taste for some lemon pepper wings. I passed by the Zaxby's and decided to order the lemon pepper, wings and things meal. The drive-through line was empty. The cashier name Sahdia took my order. She was very thorough with my order. I was asked to pull into one of their parking spots to wait for my order. The order did take about 10 minutes to make which I did not expect the order did come out very hot and fresh which I did appreciate. I have been to this location in the inside is usually clean. The outside is also clean as well. I enjoyed my food. I'm not sure if this is a custom when coming to the drive-through having to wait for your food, but I'll take that in consideration the next time I come to this location. read more

Is it all Zaxby's or just the one at the outlet mall on Congress that is it's own worst enemy? Two weeks ago for 3 nights in a row - I'm not making this up - they had NO salad! Zaxby's - known for salads - had no salad! This location has been open a couple of years and we're fans of the Houz salad. That's why we consistently return in spite of horrendous service. We are weekly customers. Always the same order. Not always the same price. It takes a long time to give your order because they keep you on hold. Then they tell you to drive forward, you pay, and they direct you to a parking space and they'll bring the food to you. Okay. Fairly fast. But you must check the order or 40% of the time it's wrong. Last night they told me to stay at the window. Okay! Then a lady handed me a bag and said "two house salads one fried one grilled, both blue cheese." YES! She had me convinced so I didn't bother to check. Got home and I heard my wife laugh as she unpacked the salads. "Did you order Cobb salads?" She knew I hadn't. But that's what we got. She checked my receipt and I had paid for one house and one Cobb. And there was no blue cheese! We laughed. Were used to it. At least that night they HAD salad. The fries were seasoned well and the chicken was HOT! The restaurant was clean enough but had a greasy feel to it. The bathroom was locked down you had to ask for them to unlock it. Menu looked good. The food is the downfall. It's just not good. We ordered the spicy signature sandwich and the 3 piece fingerz meal. The funnel cake caught my eye so I ordered that too. The sandwich was mid af. Definition of ordinary and morning special. The fingerz also just ordinary almost what you get when you bake them at home from frozen. Sauce is weak. Horrible service. Employee attitudes was unfriendly and rude. All the tables in the dining room were dirty. When I went to the counter and politely asked if someone could clean a table for me and my kids, the young lady turned her back to me and proceeded to do what she was doing. I then asked for the manager and this same young lady came out with the cleaning cloth huffing and puffing as if she was having a tantrum. Then she proceeded to clean tables where I was not seated and ignored me. When my order was read it was packed to go even though I ordered it to stay. I'm writing this review 6 months too late but in February my boyfriend and I had to catch a flight and couldn't find anything that looked good in the area. We had never had zaxbys but we figured fast food was one of the safer options before sitting on a plane. The staff was great and efficient and we just couldn't have been happier that we could trust zaxbys in west palm beach to give us an amazing meal before our flight. Lots of negative reviews for this place but we have only had a great experience. We had to stay in WPB for a medical situation and ate here nearly daily. Any time we are in WPB, we will visit here. There are no Zaxby's further south. read more

We were surprised and happy to see a Zaxbys on the backside of the outlets this Saturday afternoon. Parking lot was not busy and only two in drive in so we popped in for lunch/snacks. Pleasant employee at register, and we ordered several items including the chicken ranch loaded fries, cheese bites, grilled chicken sandwich, and a kids meal. We watched as more than 7 cars pulled up in drive in and orders were filled rather quickly. The three patrons in lobby that had ordered were obviously being skipped. It took almost 25 minutes before order was ready and order number called did NOT match receipt. The grilled chicken sandwich was good but nothing stand out. The kids loved the loaded fries, although the chicken was diced quite small and uncoated. The kids meal is ridiculous and placed in 2x4 inch box that looked like something a biscuit or roll would be provided in. They did not have plastic knife cutlery and napkins are behind counter. In all fairness we wondered if the family of four working were the owners and having to do all positions. It did not appear as if any other employees existed. Trash was overfilled and some tables needed busing. It's too bad as Zaxbys is a great franchise but needs better resolve and this location would be best served as drive-thru only. read more

This place was a train wreck of a mess... no clean tables as in NOT EVEN CLOSE. Floor has food and garbage all over it, spilled drinks by the order counter with the trampled cups still.... The drive thru was busy but there were customers standing around hoping someone woukd wash a table, especially since we and others had asked someone to please wipe at least a few tables for the dine in customers. We have been here for coming up on 20 minutes, they just wiped down a table for us, we still don't have our food order though. AVOID! They just opened two months ago and I have eaten here through the drive thru five times and dined in once. The drive thru is SLOW and it's consistently slow, not a one time occurrence. Today I dined in for the first time and waited 47 minutes for my food. All patrons in front of me and behind me also had to wait an extended amount of time for their food. I sat and waited at a open booth and watched all the drive thru patrons shake their head as they had to wait in their cars. In addition, none of the employees were enforcing our county mask ordinance or cleaning up the restaurant. I know how busy the store can get, so I ordered in advance through the app. Told the cashier that I placed an online order, then sat down patiently to wait for my food. There were a number of people that came in and ordered after me and got their food and ate it and I still hadn't received my food. The cashier asked a number of times if they had my order ready and they said they were making it but took what seemed like an eternity to get my food. I was okay until i opened my Zax snack to taste a fry before leaving and there was barely any in the box.
