Today I came in to order a big Zac snack fingers in tt. However when i got in I didn't even wanna order because of the fact they had only one cashier at the front. She looked so stressed I felt bad for her. Only one cashier with all them order in there bored. If that's how yall treat y'all employees i don't know if I can keep coming here. She was asking for help, no one was listening to her she was trying to keep it together but I knew she wanted to leave. People in the back were not listening to her you could hear it in the way she had to keep asking them to fix food. I just felt bad for her honestly. Maybe next time get her help. I just came from the Zaxby's on Scenic Highway, and this experience was honestly frustrating. I went through the drive-thru, there was a bit of a wait, which I didn't mind at first. I told them my order, and when I got to the window, I asked to change my drink to a peach sweet tea, not regular sweet tea. The guy at the window read my order back to me, I confirmed it, and he handed me the food and drink. I looked at the drink -- still the wrong one, just regular sweet tea. Then I opened the bag -- whole different order. Not even close. So I had to drive back around, go through the line again, explain everything, and they gave me the correct food. I asked again for peach sweet tea, and what do I get? Another regular sweet tea. Like... come on. And on top of all that when I told them the order was wrong, the guy took the food back from me. Like, why? It was already in my possession. I know it was the wrong order, but what are you going to do with it? Give it to someone else? That's gross and against food safety policies. If you're just going to throw it away, I could've just kept it. That part honestly rubbed me the wrong way. He also had a low-key attitude. I still said "thank you so much" at the end and he didn't even respond. How are you mad at me when you messed up the entire order twice? Me and my fiancé frequently go here due to his love of the wings. I'd say the last 3-4 times over the timespan of a couple months, the staff has just been honestly careless. Messing up minor things (extra sauces, sauce for the wings, regular lemonade instead of peach) things like that. after my fiancé has to explicitly repeat himself up to 3 times for various details on the order. (I serve and work in the food industry as well so do what you will with that.) We have been very disappointed the last few times coming. And we went again today in turn being the reason I'm writing this review. My fiancé is ordering a box with regular wings, chicken strips, fries and an extra zax sauce. She had to repeatedly ask what sauce, what drink etc. Then got my drink incorrect (glad we caught it when she was repeating the order.) we get to the second window and my fiancé thought the lemonade was wrong and asked for peach. Zaxby's is one of those places we only eat at about once every two months because we like their chicken tender plates. So honesty that is all I can only review about their food. I used to get Zaxby's off Highway 78 W, and always do online orders as by the time I pick it up they had 30 minutes to make it, but that Zaxby's never once made it on time, and they didn't begin to make it until I arrived. This Zaxby's off Scenic Hwy never gives me any issues. If you order online using their app and it says it will be done in 15 minutes, it will be done in 15 minutes. The moment I come in one of their employees hands it to me. The staff is friendly, and always gives me exactly what I ordered. No issues at all for online take-out. As for dining in or sandwiches, etc... ? I have no clue. If you want consistency with online take orders, and need to get your food in time, this Zaxby's is your place for takeout. First time in this location was a total mess. There was a big line and only one cashier taking orders. The soft drinks machine wasn't working and we had to ask them for drinks inside. The food wasn't good at all because it seemed like they made it on a rush. This is not my regular Zaxbys and I probably won't be back to this location. First time at this location. It's been open about 6 months. It's a lot bigger than the older Zaxby's. The dining area is clean and spacious. The menu is the same except there is a salad special on the Zensation Zalad. I've had it before but today I got the Cobb salad w/ranch dressing. I had the new buffalo garlic blaze sauce on the boneless wings. It was spicy to me so I'd recommend if you like heat. Not sure how it compares to their hottest sauce. The absolute worst experience ever! I went to the drive through to place my order, and the young lady taking my order was rude. Every time I tried to place my order, and tell her what I wanted, she kept trying to rush me to complete it . After pulling up to the window she then proceeds to tell me that they did not have any juice, and that I could get water! Horrible. This is not the first time that I've been told that the drink machine was not working. If this location wants to remain open, they should consider hiring customer oriented, kind people to work there. This is my new favorite Zaxby's. The Grayson location is always terrible so I have been coming to this location for quite a while. I always have a good experience here and the employees are attentive and friendly. With Covid-19 I have been ordering and paying on the app and driving right up to the window. I feel like Zaxbys food is consistent from restaurant to restaurant. So I will be rating the location, parking, staff/service and speed/accuracy of the food. The location is next to Freddys among other restaurants with plenty of parking. The restaurant was clean and aesthetically pleasing. It was busy as I went during lunch time, but we were greeted as we walked through the door. The staff were all friendly and fast. They took the order and the food was given in less than 5 minutes. Again, that is fast considering they were pretty busy here. Now down to the important part. I ordered a boneless wings and things with the wings tossed in tongue torch and the tenders tossed in hot honey mustard. The wings and tenders were nice and crispy and well cooked. Please use caution when eating from this restaurant. Went through the drive through and observed MULTIPLE workers talking with the masks hanging off or not on the face. I watched this one lady at the drink station talk to her friend with her face fully exposed, masked pulled down so she could talk. She also made a drink without her mask on and put it next to the window for the next guest. I started to get out my car and tell the customer behind me to not drink the beverage. We have to protect ourself because these companies/businesses will not. They will try to not be liable if anyone gets sick, but in situations like this they are putting folks and themselves at risk. Super new, super clean. Nice employees, not the most fastest, but I expect that to improve with time. Line moved fairly quickly, so that was good!! They now give you a number to put on your table so if you are eating in, you don't have to listenen for your number to get your food. Nice upgrade if you ask me! I am in love with the Zalads, don't think that will ever change. verall they had an 100 health inspection score which I hope does not change. This location is much nicer than the one on 78. A fresh start for a local chicken joint. This zaxbys was damaged last year by fire. The Zaxbys corporation took the opportunity to make this a newer look restaurant. First, parking is limited. The HUGE new medical building is going to open soon so the overflow parking could go either way. Walking in and this place has a fresh new look. The employees looked ready and happy to help. The menu hasn't really changed. Same Zaxbys menu as any other location. They have great Zalads and chicken finger plates. The drinks are self serve and the employees will bring the food to your table. The restrooms were clean and even during a busy lunch hour. That is a huge pet peeve for me. So ... overall I'm digging the new Zaxbys. I hope that the customer service and cleanliness levels stay elevated. read more

Now this is a good Zaxby's! They have both registers open on a Sunday at lunch time, unlike others. My husband's meal took 4 minutes to come out - very quick! We absolutely love eating at this Zaxby's. Not only is the staff so polite and but the atmosphere here is very relaxing. It's always clean, whenever we go in! Regardless if it's a noon lunch date, or a 10 pm snack that we're going to eat the place is always clean. We prefer eating at this location as apposed to the other two near by on Grayson HW and Sugarloaf. The atmosphere just puts us in a better mood, and the food is always made so well. The drink machine sometimes runs out of flavor drinks so vanilla, cherry, etc... sometimes aren't available but that's the only negative. I stopped by here last evening because I wanted some wings and hadn't tried zaxby's in a while. I thought maybe this location is one of the better ones. It wasn't. The customer service was good, the order was quick . When I got home and opened my container, I was like, thank goodness they are not drowning in a lot of sauce like other locations but they weren't cooked all the way. I kept biting one to see if it would get better and it didn't. There was at least some remnant of pinkness in each wing at some point in the eating process. I just ended up throwing them away. the drumettes looked like they could have been a full size drum stick. I don't know why a lot of places are going to these jumbo wings because they are not cooked well most of the time. I should have just gotten the chicken finger platter instead.
