Driving through the area, saw the Zaxby's sign and had to have it! It's been awhile since I've been to this chain and I was excited to see that they offer chicken breast sandwiches now. I almost ordered that, but went with my tried and true order - buffalo chicken sandwich combo. This is 3 tenders on 2 pieces of texas toast. It was delicious! I love the taste of the buffalo and I also had a ranch on the side. The fries were cooked to perfection and I love the seasoning they put on them. I also enjoyed the sweet tea. It was very slow when I arrived, which is good because I took a minute to make up my mind on my order. The employee was friendly and helpful - she explained the sandwiches and how they were different than the tender sandwich. Service was excellent and the food came up very quickly. The restaurant was very clean but very HOT. I mean, so hot I almost took my meal to my car to eat it... I was sweating just standing in line to order. There is also an opportunity to clearly mark the teas. Drinks are self serve and there were 2 big tea jugs side by side, one sweet, one unsweet, neither marked. Again - it was slow so I was able to ask, but if it was busy this would have been an annoyance. read more

Had the spicy chicken sandwich, a little disappointed. The spicy sauce is added to the sandwich after cooking, and only a touch. Less than half the chicken had spicy sauce. The bun was ok, looked a little beat up. The French fries were a little soft. Overall it was a good lunch. read more

Stopped here during a road trip. Ordered 2 number 1s. Waited over 30 minutes for our food. [There were only 2 other customers in the restaurant. They weren't slammed by any means.] When we finally got our order, it was wrong, but we did not have any more time to wait, as we were pressed for time. Do not recommend this location! read more

Would very much appreciate Zaxby's specifying on the door and on the website the different hours if the lobby has DIFFERENT hours than what is listed on both the doors and website. When customers, like my family, show up to give Zaxby's business and dine in WELL BEFORE posted hours say Zaxby's stated hours close, we are not thrilled to be told "sorry, the lobby is closed" after we all have entered the restaurant. The heads up on the door & website would be nice, and we would know to take our business elsewhere without the frustration and hassle. read more

I like Zaxby's for their Zalads. They are good portions and flavorful. Now, I'm not going to act like this place is really healthy for you because the calorie counts will surprise you. But you do at least feel like you're doing the right thing by eating here. Plus the salads do contain multiple vegetables. I also really like the fried mushrooms. Eat them while they're hot though. Otherwise they'll get soggy in the takeout container. read more

Just as I remembered, outstanding chicken and wings. The wing sauce, "wimpy", is reminiscent of the sauce I grew up on in South Georgia. Service rivals Chikfila, which is saying a lot. Too bad we don't have Zaxby's in Arizona, please open in Phoenix please!!!! read more

Zaxbys is new in Russellville and it's a great addition. The location is very convenient. I had the Cobb salad and was very impressed. The chicken doesn't taste like it just came out of the freezer like many fast food restaurants. read more

The employees are really nice but the chicken is gross. The texture of the boneless chicken makes me gag. It's not crispy and it's chewy and cold. I paid for a combo and didn't even get fries. The celery was very thin and looked unappealing. The toast was okay. Their sauces however are very still and look as if they've been sitting for awhile. Overpriced for garbage food. read more

The food was decent (they only serve chicken products) but it's a fast food chain with non fast food prices. Can get a similar meal at chick fill-a or Popeyes for much less (chick fill-a tastes much better). read more
