After finally getting back to Ocala last night after driving down from Jacksonville we needed some food to bring back to the house. We drove by Zaxby's and gave it a shot. I was craving some greens so decided on one of their salad bowls. We got a Cobb Zalad and Asian Zenzation Zalad both with grilled chicken and choice of dressings on the side. Both were plentiful with ingredients and filling. Service was quick and easy, and the place itself looked clean with a nice rustic decor. Plenty of seating. read more

Maybe only lunchtime is safe at Zaxby's! Should have been a little concerned, not a car in the lot, no customers for supper! Really wanted a salad for supper and figured getting one already made was cheaper than buying all the ingredients, especially since I would never eat the leftovers! I went through the drive through, no problems even got my senior discount! The problem came when I got home and was ready to enjoy. I got the Asian sensation salad with grilled chicken. The egg roll had refried at least once, hard and greasy, the chicken, same thing never had crunchy grilled chicken! A lot of the lettuce was wilted and certainly not fresh. Worst chicken wings I ever had. Ripped my wife off 4 pidgon size wings in a black little Styrofoam box cots over $8 and we're over cooked if I was eating there I would have threw the garbage at them will never ever eat at one again or admit that I ever did totally disgusting. read more

In the drive through a few minutes ago. Attempted to order 2 salads. The woman taking my order completely missed the first salad and didn't know what I ordered on the second. I said are you listening to me sweetheart? She said, yes but I have other things to do. I said see ya and drove away. Called the manager a few minutes later when I got home. Her answers were just as bad. I'm not trying to trash the place. I've had good experiences every time before. I'm just upset by the replies. I'm ordering nearly $30 dollars in salad, I want some service. If your drive through operator has other things to do, then don't ask me what I want until you are done. read more

This establishment has really gone done hill. Floors haven't been swept, tables not clean, napkins, paper and food all over. Out of lids for drinks. I tried to get Diet Coke from drink machine but it taste as thought it has some leftover drink taste to it. read more

The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. Overall Zaxby's was amazing and I would definitely go there again.

Went last night at 9 pm and they forgot my extra fries AND my 6 finger plate was missing two fingers. Fries are soggy and toast was cold.

Bathrooms are very clean. Chicken sandwich and strips were good. Service was great. Everyone was nice. read more

Worst service ever...waited 20 minutes for our order then checked on it and they couldn't find it...so I stood at the counter as they were making them...then sat down to eat and didn't get my bread...asked for it and the one I got was cold...by the way...the cashier found our original orders behind her on the right side of the counter...then went up again to get a salad to go and all 5 front employees including the manager were huddled together at the drive thru window...a cook finally got the cashiers attention and I asked her if anyone was working...lol. This Zaxby's is newish to this area of Ocala (SW State Road 200) Tom and I went there for lunch today The building is aesthetically pleasing on the outside. It is clean and well organized on the inside with numerous large booths and 4 small booths. The staff behind the counter was patient and accommodating (Deja J) Tom had a 4 Chicken Fingers Plate with fries, Texas Toast, cole slaw and soda. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and a side of onion rings. All our meal items were ready in a short amount of time and quite tasty. I have tried numerous Zaxby's location and this is the first to disappoint me so far. Do not go to this location expecting the food to be as good as other locations , in looks and quantity , taste is still good if ingredients aren't missing. We went through the drive thru at 9:17 PM and the employee told us they are closed! They don't close until 10 PM! If you're not going to stay open until 10 PM, then change your signs. That's just bad etiquette for conducting business. How is that everyone needs to make money and pay bills, but they don't want to work?! The food is not that great. I have came here time to time because of the south west salad which they no longer have. When I order anything else but this salad it seems like the chicken has sat there for a while. I am giving it a 3 and not a one is because some of the staff is helpful and sweet. I do not appreciate that the last time I was there I heard some inappropriate things come from the back. Gabby has great customer service. She seems likes she really cares about the customers. You wait for someone to take your order and one young lady smiled and delivered food to the window. Three other employees chatted with each other as I stood at the counter. Food was delivered quickly. I asked for barbecue sauce it was exchanged by one of the employees without gloves after handling money. No working ice machine. i had the crappiest service going in. i ordered 3 meals before they were closing and asked for our food to be fresh and it so clearly was not. i then pulled around the drive thru again and asked to remake, not all, but ONE of the meals we ordered and they made it obvious they did not want to remake it and they were angry. they closed the window and thinking we couldn't hear them talk through the window, they started calling me explicit names and talking bad about me coming back around to have our food fixed. when i finally got my one meal remade, they had over cooked it on purpose and flicked us off while leaving. finally i called to complain about the service i received while i was there and they put me on hold for 20 minutes and i tried to call back and they didn't answer. read more
