I was sadly mistaken, and the problems stem from how the chain is setup, and not from a single location having issues. The burgers are alright, but too expensive for how much you get. The fries are alright as well, but all of it seems to be your typical corporate food distribution to the masses, and the food just isn't that good. Two stars for this one as well... not because the folks working there are bad, or even because the place itself is bad place to eat... they are not. It is just that the food is just not very good, and from what I have experienced no matter what the employees do the food is still going to be mediocre.

We decided to try them soon after moving to Ocala, like the first week. Since we were not familiar with Freddy's or knew what we wanted, we quickly ordered at the drive thru. We also had our dog with us so we figured this would be the easiest option. I usually like burgers that have unique toppings and condiments so I chose the Jalapeño burger and hubs ordered the bacon burger. We also ordered a custard shake and fries. We decided to wait until we got home to eat. The food was really good but cold by the time we ate it. We ordered from here again and the food was not supreme or didn't taste memorable. The food can take some time to receive after ordering, which is comparable to Steak n Shake. The staff were good both times and our orders were accurate. Since I'm more on the vegetarian/ vegan side now, I'm excited to try their veggie burger next!
