Well... This was another disappointment! Their menu board doesn't match the price on my receipt. Almost a $4 difference. I got the big Zax snack meal but nothing was big about it! 3 rinky dink chicken tenders and burnt toast. Mediocre at best, def not worth $12! When I visit Aiken, my nephews ALWAYS want Zaxby's. This the closest location to their house. Each time I've visited in the past, they've been spot on with the service/wait time/meal prep. This time was NO different, but my nephew ordered something he's never had before. While we both thought it was a regular chicken sandwich, he would not even touch it. It has some sort of sauce on it and seemed to have the entire jar of sauce on it (ok, maybe not that much..... but it was excessive!) My other nephew ordered the same thing he ALWAYS gets -- 5- finger plate, no slaw, double fries. He ate it all and within 15 minutes "gave it all back." Just not a good visit this time for them. 9 years since I've been here. Took 20 minutes to serve 3 cars in front of us and we had a mobile order. Paid for a Zax sauce and they didn't give it to us. Server wanted to argue with us that we couldn't have it that we had ranch even though the receipt had it on there ! I love Zaxbys and this is my least favorite location. All other Zaxbys that I've been to have had their sweet tea and unsweet tea out front so that you can refill or mix as you see fit. This location has it all in the back so either there are zero refills or I have to ask them to my 1/2 sweet tea for me (which I like a certain way.) The chicken sandwich had a single lettuce piece, onion, and two pickles. The chicken sandwich visual expectation is something you see on a dollar or value meal. The chicken tender place consists of chicken tender, small bits of fries, toast, and coleslaw. The small number of fries were lightly salted and perfectly seasoned. The chicken tenders reminded me of small chicken rib meats covered with a ton of breading. The side of coleslaw was a delight to break away from the heavily fried element of the plate. I don't understand the low review here. I was greeted with a smile. The food was great. I didn't wait long and there was a lot of people. Our server, Brandy, was incredible. The person before us didn't speak English and she went out of her way, smiling the whole time, to help her. Our orders were perfect. Never had an issue with them tonight. I order curbside pick up for the first time from this Zaxbys. I call in and they can't find my order to start, then they ask me if I wanted to walk inside. Um no, I ordered curbside on purpose. Wait 5 mins and they bring it out, not bad. Until girl legit shoves my drink into my chest into my car. Food overall is okay, fries are soggy and props for more teriyaki than normal. Atmosphere seemed fine, until she shoved my drink in my chest. The salad dressing packageing is greasy. For the past month it has gotten more greasy. Both thousand island and ceaser dressing. I called last week and talked to a male manager (general manager?) who told me he would fix the problem. Today I ordered and PAID FOR thousand island dressing but I received ceaser. Guess what... it was greasy. I called and the female night manager said she would address this with the general manager. I of course asked her to go NOW and address this with her employees. By the way I had ordered unsweet tea but at home I found sweet tea. So to sum it up... what wasn't wrong had a greasy packaging. They never asked us if we wanted sauce when we placed the order, so when we asked for sauce, they told us it was an additional charge.
