Zaxby's in Haines City Drive Thru completely messed up our order a couple nights ago by giving wrong items and missing items we paid for. In addition some of the food was not fresh. I took pictures of the ticket showing what we ordered vs the mixed up food we received. I didn't go right back because it was pouring rain and our power went out as I sat down to eat. This evening I had time to go over and ask for either a refund or replacement. I was polite and explained what happened to the Manager on Duty, showing picture and receipt of issue. She didn't apologize and stated that unless I brought the food in there was nothing she could do and her hands were tied to theor policy, even with pictures I took. She also said there's no way the food was not fresh, basically insinuating I was lying. I asked if there is somewhere else I can provide feedback since she wasn't able to handle the situation and had no empowerment to resolve my concern at all. She gave me an email address which I will contact, though I expect no response. I will not return as all she had to do was take ownership of the situation and provide a replacement meal, a refund, or a coupon for future and apologize things went wrong. I want to share that this company does not care about quality or service recovery in their business to ensure things go right nor resolve things that go wrong and caution you to waste money there as it isn't cheap! I almost came home and dug in the trash for the food we didn't eat from 2 nights ago and take it over but decided then there would be a new excuse of why she couldn't do anything and still tell me I'm lying. The Zaxby's in Haines City, FL, is the best one we have visited. My wife and I find the food and service there to be consistently good. The boneless chicken wings with Tongue Torch coating is delicious, especially when dipped in blue cheese sauce. The Nibblers are really good, especially when you purchase the extra Zax sauce for twenty-five cents. The fires are always done to perfoection, also. The times I've tried the chicken it remains dry and disgusting. Overall the food is not prepared well and offered no real value. The servers are unprofessional and lackluster. Stopped by here after going to Legoland that's a few blocks down and let me tell you this was the best decision to make since I was hungry. Haven't had Zaxby's in a couple of years and I've been wanting some ever since because where I live at they don't have one sadly. Food here is great and fresh! Service was great and quick, the ambiance was normal and can easily be enjoyed inside if you want to dine in. I came to this Zaxbys location at 8:07:54pm on 10/28 the employee at the drive thru was very rude this is how you treat customers before you guys close, her name jennieliz she was laughing and being very disrespectful towards us for no reason I think that was very unprofessional. From the moment I pulled up to the drive through I knew it was going to be a great experience. The person at the window said she was only there for a week, but she was very pleasant to deal with. As far as the product, I was very impressed. The chicken was juicy and fresh, definitely has not been sitting around all day like some of their competitors would allow. My kids ate their chicken, fries, and graham crackers and even told me they like it better than the over processed McDonalds they usually only eat. I really enjoyed the whole piece of toast that was provided with my meal. The Zaxbys sauce is pretty amazing. The coleslaw was not as tangy or sauce drenched as others out there, which I like, but it also was missing in flavor. Still I hands down loved my experience. Yesterday I went through the drive thru at around 12:15-12:30. I placed a mobile order and wanted to make sure it was correct. There were two young black women working the window. One with a bob and long nails and the other she was taller and darker in complexion and her hair was in a bun. I asked the one with the bob, if she could get me another salad dressing because they only give you two. She told me it would be $.25 so I gave her the money. She asked the young lady with her hair up to get the dressing. The young lady with the hair up says, "So I have to walk all the way back here to get a dressing?!" So when she came back, I snatched it out her hand. She then said, "WTF, you snatching shit?!" And that is extremely unprofessional! There arent many options in Haines city when it comes to food but this is the best option they have when it comes to fast food. The service is always on point, even though they have young workers who sometimes are a bit judgemental. I always get the big zax snack box, wings, or a salad, which in my opinion is better than chikfila if that tells you something. Zaxby's is a welcomed addition to the limited dining options in Haines City. Yes, it is fast food, but IMHO places like Zaxby's and Chick Fil A are a higher quality fast food than say Wendy's or Burger King. I really enjoy the chicken tenders here. Zax Sauce is extremely good. If I had to describe Zax Sauce I would say it a tangy version of thousand island. The Nibbler is a single chicken tender with Zax sauce on a small toasted bun. This is one of my favorite things here. They have a 3 and 5 piece chicken tenders with fries and texas toast. I like the texas toast, but I don't love the fries. They are large crinkle cut, like the Ore Ida fries my mom made at home growing up. The 5 piece with fries and toast is large enough to share. If you are trying to eat healthier the salads with grilled chicken are very good as well and if you dine in, it is served in a reall bowl, not something to be thrown away. Finally, they also have a coca-cola freestyle which offers lots of beverage options, and they have the good crushed ice. read more

I love the local decor here! I strolled down memory lane as I waited for my food. I grew up in Orlando going to Circus World and Boardwalk and Baseball for my birthdays. I came to this location for a quick snack because I was sightseeing around the area, looking at scenery and what not. I pulled in. There were maybe 5-6 cars in front of me. It took maybe 5 minutes to get to the speaker. As soon as we did, the woman came over the speaker and asked, "What do you want?!?" I was kind of upset with her attitude, but I let it slide. I then placed my order. She asked if there was anything else that I needed, but before I could answer, she said "Well? I asked if you wanted anything else!?!" I may or may not have yelled and told her that my order was complete. I was given the total and I was told to pull around to the window. It took about 20 minutes to get to the window, and as soon as I did. I was told that I didn't pay for my food online. I told her I didn't order any food online and that I ordered it at the window. I payed at the window and then this happened. She looked upset and grabbed my food and pretty much shoved it into my car. Never said have a nice day or anything. Needless to say, I will not be returning here. If you honestly hate your job and your customers so much, then you shouldn't have a job were you interact with anyone. The food was good, by the way. Very disappointed. This is the third time recently that I've had issues with this location. After repeating the order back to me incorrectly 3 times, they finally got it right. Then when I went to pay for my meal, I took my order and left. After leaving I realized they gave me the wrong order. I went back through the drive through (I was the only customer there) the drive through window was open and they didn't realize I'd been sitting there listening to them until someone finally noticed me. They handed me my actual order. After confirming it was correct I headed home again. I opened the box and noticed the wing count looked off. I paid $22 for 20 wings and only received 13 wings. There was no reason to be in a rush as there weren't other customers there, and there were plenty of staff sitting around chatting, surely one of them could have counted my order properly.
