I honestly don't know why this location has such a low rating. I'm going to write this review hoping I don't jinx how good we have had it. We order through the app everytime. This is the one of few locations that I consistently get fresh, delicious fries no matter the time! The food is pretty consistent and our orders have always been correct dispite us needing customizations on any sandwhich we order. We frequently need extra sauces and this location never forgets any. My loss of one star is a few times the nuggets seem to be over cooked (maybe they sat for a while and got refried?) but in reality if I could, I would only take half a star. The drive thru is always fast, clean and the staff is always friendly. Our food is usually ready at the window and we don't need to pull into a spot and wait. read more

This lobby does not close till 11 pm on. Friday night. They had 8 workers and the manager told me they close at 10 pm and told me to go thru the drive thru due they were short staffe. what I saw was a bunch of employees laughing it up on their cell phones playing around. I asked the manager for the corporate phone number and she would not give it to me. It is policy the lobby stays open till 11 pm. You cannot make your own hours and say I want to close at 10 pm. Totally get this can be a busy location, but I order my food, get to the second window, they tell me go to parking spot number 3 because their drink machine is down, fine. I check my bag wrong food. I go inside, they ask me to switch bags with another lady behind me because she has my food and I have hers. My fries? Half ate. I told them no. I want new food. They said they will bring it out to me. I've been here 15 minutes waiting still for my food. Normally, I wouldn't even review a McDonald's. I think we all know what McDonald's is. However, I had a really unfortunate experience at this one last night and feel the need to let others know that perhaps they should consider going elsewhere. We arrived at 6:25. The drive thru was lined around the building, but it was raining and I had the baby in the car so I wasn't getting out. This drive thru has two places to order and you choose either the left or right. The first unfortunate thing was that the person in front of me was sort of hedging their bets on which side to go to so they didn't pull up all the way, which was fine because he wasn't in a place where he could order anyway, but the car behind me saw a gap and cut in front of me and the car in front of me because he saw a gap. How rude! At least Chick Fil A has someone outside monitoring that stuff most of the day. Once I got up to order i ordered a McDouble, 10 piece nugget with BBQ sauce, Big Mac, and large fry. I didn't order anything complicated or special. I got up to the window and paid and at the next window they said it would be a minute on the mcdouble and could I please pull into parking spot #2. This frustrated me because the line for the drive thru was long and I hadn't ordered anything complicated, but what choice did I have? We pulled into parking space two and waited 7 minutes for our food! It was raining so hard that the person ran it out, handed it through the window and left. I didn't have the chance to check it before she ran back in. There was no BBQ sauce, even though I had specifically asked for it and it was on the receipt. That sucked. The fries were inedible. They had clearly been sitting in the bag for 7+ minutes waiting for the mcdouble, and the nuggets weren't much better. We did not eat the fries at all. We only at a couple nuggets, and we had no bbq. I would have gone in, but I had already spent 23+ minutes in the drive thru and waiting for my food. It was pouring rain, and I had the baby with me. I don't expect a lot from McDonald's, but I definitely expect more than this. read more

Visited today on our way to Bok Tower Gardens. Location is convenient, just off of Hwy 27 in Haines City. We entered the drive through around 11:40 am and placed our order relatively easy. It then took around 15 minutes to get through the line. No explanation, no apology from staff at the window, with the pick up window remaining open the entire time. When they called my number it was just the food. They completely didn't even look at the ticket to see if I had any drinks. I had to call the manager over and ask for the rest of my order. Crazy. Ugh and this poor lady who ordered in front of me. She ordered three coffees. She waited alongside me for 16 minutes and they never called her number. Ew Ew Ewwwww Someone had apparently vomited in the register line sometime before we arrived. All they did was cover it with napkins but you could still see some of it. It remained uncleaned for our entire visit and who knows how long it had been there prior. The seating area was filthy and it made me nervous to sit down or touch anything. Trash was overflowing at one of the cans since before we walked in and people started leaving their trash on the bar seating next to the trashcan. I know mcdonalds can get busy but there is no excuse for having to clean a table to sit and eat when all employees manager included are standing around socializing. If the owners even car it is Saturday October 19th at 4pm. Onlt five tables have people sitting at them and I watched all but one clean their own table. And when asked if I could get a new one the man responded with "they're all going to look like that, the only reason it's like that is because the whips cream can't cover up the vanilla." Asked for extra m&ms in a McFlurry. 1 they didn't even mix the McFlurry and they also didn't give us any extra m&ms after clearly charging us for them 2 we asked about purchasing the full toy set they are currently doing and the guy said sure no problem. Used the mobile app at this location for a late night order. It took 15 minutes to bring out the order. Although I included two drinks in the order, the lady brought out only one straw. She said that "they" only gave her one straw to give me. I don't know who "they" were but I guess she expected us to share a straw or do without since she had no intention of bringing out another one. Furthermore, why couldn't see that there was only one straw but two drinks and grab another one? Very poor customer service. Even worse was when I got to my house eight miles away and found that I was given McChicken sandwiches instead of the cheeseburgers that I ordered. How do you mess up this terrible? Worst McDonalds experience I have ever had in 30 + years of going to there restaurants. We went thru the drive thru on a Sunday afternoon about 3:00. There were approximately 6 cars ahead of us. It took us 20 min. to get to even place our order. 2 Artisian Chicken sandwich & a hamburger happy meal. Took another 5 min. to get to pay for our order. Then at pick up window told to pull ahead as order was not ready and they would bring out. Waited 5 min. and nothing. Went inside and asked manager on duty what was up with our order? Told was making it fresh for us and was right there ready for us. Went back to my car and waited another 5 min. and still nothing. Now my wife went in and was told same thing making it fresh. She said no just give us our money back we are done. No apology from manager or anything just gave our money back. In total a 40 min total ordeal.
