The Zaxby's on Thompson Bridge Road in Gainesville, Ga has some very real problems. It is the newest Zaxby's in town and if it is open a year from now it will be surprising. I tend to go through the drive thru and enjoy an occasional Zax Snack. It's a flip of the coin if you will get fresh food or chicken that has been there a few hours. Many times they are out of Coke (which means someone doesn't know how or is too lazy to change the little packets in the machine) they also run out of condiments, like Honey Mustard, and want to give you the Honey Mustard dressing instead. Not the same people. I have also been by there when there was a hand written sign on the speaker that said, "Due to lack of business we will be closing at 9:00". It was gone the next day. People, if you don't have customers ordering stuff, then clean something, order supplies, do something but you close at 10:00. A better Manager would know that. The last time I went there about 6:00 pm there was one car in the parking lot and 0 cars in the drive thru. I pulled up and the order taker asked me to give them a minute please. After a minute I ordered a Zax Snack with a Coke. Well, they were out of Coke. So I left and went to the store in New Holland. Must have been 8 cars in the drive thru. Went inside and got what I wanted. It was hot, fresh and a pleasant experience. The Thompson Bridge Store has a great location and should never be hurting for business. There is one young man there that is very good, I wish I knew his name, I am surprised he works at that Zaxby's and not Chick fil a. Fire the rest and start over, they suck. Until you prove you can provide Fresh Food and a lot better service, it will continue to struggle. read more

My daughter and I stopped by as we were passing through town. She ordered a kids meal and I ordered a meal. Both of us had cold fries. I went back to the counter to request hot fries. The guy behind the counter looked like a deer in headlights. He then said the new ones would be the same temperature. I asked for some right out of the grease and for someone to bring them to my table. Rolling his eyes, he said ok. I clarified that we would both be getting g fresh fries and he said yes. A different employee brought me some fries but not my daughter. I asked if she can have fresh ones as well and she said ok. Never happened. We left extremely unsatisfied. Based on the poor customer service at this location, when I pass through town, I will NEVER return to this location again. You have to blame the manager for poor customer service training. read more

The worst Zaxbys location ever. I've been there a couple times. The last visit I tried a new chicken sandwich on a bun. The bun was just a little bigger than a slider. The chicken patty was half the size of the bun. Overcooked and hard as a piece of leather. This last time, why I went I don't know, was to try the new Jerk chicken sandwich. Same as before with a different flavor. Worst thing is that they charged me $4.80 for a sandwich that if it had been edible should have been on the dollar menu at McDonald's. I'm done with Zaxbys! They need to seriously give the staff a course on customer service. Most recent incident is today. We just left and the girl at the window didn't greet us even though my husband said hello and didn't even respond when my husband said thank you. Ordered the wings & things w "insane" sauce & an iced tea!!! I love spicy!! So I'm happy to say that the sauce I ordered was just that! Lol I literally had a runny nose but enjoyed every bite!!! The fries & toast helped me calm the heat! I also enjoyed the zaxbys sauce for my chicken tenders which were super juicy! I'm from California so this place was a real treat!! The ONLY thing I would comment negatively on was the drive thru attendant, she was rude but I give my rating based on my food! Maybe she was having a bad day lol. Until next time!!! read more

This place is worse than other national chains like Popeyes or Church's. Their buffalo wings are average, but their chicken fingers have a very weird after taste, possibly from un-fresh ingredients. I had a coupon for a free meal so I went to Zaxby's tonight. To be a Sunday they were fairly busy, and I guess I should have taken the dozen people standing waiting for their food as a sign to go somewhere else, but I didn't. I was 2nd in line waiting on the one cashier to figure out the simple math of 20.10-17.10 (took a solid 2 minutes). Then the customer asked for a receipt and she said she didn't know where it was. I was next, I tatted ordering my food (that she had to ask how to use the coupon) and then got interrupted mid order by the customer that was before me wanting his receipt still. She found it then gave me mine and turned away. I was NOT even done ordering. I told her I wanted to switch it the sauce on my sandwich as I was allergic to what came with it and she informed me "she had already sent it back" and I just looked at her...then she huffed and told another associate the issue, so I assumed it had been fixed. I was also going to upsize my drink ad I was getting it to go and she didn't even give me time to finish ordering so I didn't. Well when my food finally came THIRTY-FIVE minutes later, guess what?!? It was wrong. The girl behind the counter snatched it from me and got it made. When I tried asking if they were going to use the same tenders and how long it would take she rolled her eyes at me. It took another 10 minutes for it to be made. At this point I noticed the swarm of people waiting for their food (about 15). Then when it I got it corrected, my goodness it was slaty. Ugh. Terrible service. I visit this place quite often but recently I've had issues with the service. I was really dissatisfied with the quality of the food. They gave me cold little pieces of chicken that weren't even the size of a normal wing. The food was straight up cold snd it seem like it had been out in the open all day!!! A couple days after that I decided to give them a second change hoping i would get a better service. But NO! I waited 30 minutes to receive my order when the restaurant was empty!! The usually mix up the orders. They are the slowest people during lunch hours!! I would just go to subway instead since they serve you quick and provide great service. I was very very disappointed . Pretty good Zaxby's, but they have gotten my order mixed up before (fixed it after much confusion), and their drive thru line is a pretty long wait. That being said, the restaurant is always pretty clean. I love the house zalad and the kick in chicken sandwich meal. Drinks come with a meal deal, so not a bad price for a meal. read more

My child loves Zazbys. With family in Gainesville we have had 2 visits for to go orders where the salad dressing was missing. Not fun since we aren't at our home nor are we driving back. This time we went inside for our to go order. Manager checked us out so I kindly told him they need to be sure to include dressing in the drive thru. He was very nice. Our order was called and he tossed in several packs of dressing to have at our family's home and extra chicken fingers. Good customer service. read more

Well to put my opinion out there coming from someone who has worked at the zaxbys on browns bridge in Gainesville ga and quit because of all things disgusting I can tell you we did not wash our dishes with soap we simply stated them down with water to get the food off then dunked them in sanitizer and then later them out to dry and also there was a very bad roach problem very disgusting I will never ever eat there and will never recommend itand to add to the nastyness I can personally say that there are a ton of employees if not all did not was their hands after using the bathroom read more
