Was told it would roughly be 16 minutes. No problem. I love the fact that your wings are made for YOU! Not like other Wing restaurants that have wings "par" fried, waiting on your order then dropped again. We ordered the "Meal for Two" 15 wings, 2 dips, large fry and 2 drinks. My friend ordered the 10 Boneless BBQ with a small fry... We live in Cumming and don't mind the drive for great wings. Unfortunately, WS missed the mark this evening. The 15 wings had no crunch to then at all, they weren't done. Still very pink inside. The same for the Boneless Wings, they were actually "chewy". Quite disappointed to spend upwards of $30 and not be able to eat. It's a Friday evening, we opted for wings and weren't able to enjoy what we had hoped would be a great meal. This location is okay. I do like the texture and quality of their wings. I think it is better than most locations. But one thing I have noticed is that at this location they are really skimpy on the sauce. I don't think I've ever encountered a Wingstop that put as little sauce or seasoning as this one does. Usually when I get my order from here the sauce/seasoning is minimal and barely coating the wing so the wing is not as flavorful. Nowadays I call them and ask if they can make it extra saucy if it's a wet sauce or more seasoning if it's a dry rub, and that helps a little bit. But still, even with extra sauce/seasoning it's barely the amount compared to other Wingstops, which is surprising to me. If they could just add more seasoning/sauce I think this location would be nearly perfect! Service is okay. They are usually fine in person but one time when I was waiting on my order the phone kept ringing and an employee picked it up, told them they were busy (they were in fact, not busy and I was the only one there) and that they have to wait, put the customer on hold, and proceeded to leave the building to get Starbucks. And then no one else picked up the phone either. Didn't affect me personally but it was not a good look. Makes me wonder if they would do the same thing when I call in an order. I'll still come to this location as this is the only one I know of in Gainesville, and I do still like the quality and texture of their wings! Hope they improve with time. read more

I regularly eat here. The food has been fairly consistent, and I don't typically have any issues however the service has taken a down turn in the last 6 or so weeks (for reference I'm writing this in the middle of November, 2019). It's been fairly small things to begin with; an incorrect sauce (ranch and blue cheese are easily mixed up) or one extra sauce missing (especially when I'm ordering online) or a veggie combo side, instead of a carrot only side--something I will still eat. But then it got to a ridiculous point. It's happened basically each time I've gotten an order from here (we order here at least once a week) no matter if I walk in, order online, or order through door dash. The straw that broke the camels back was tonight. They were having a rough night, I get it. I work in customer service, and food service! But when you work with the public you need to be able to hide your disdain for people a little better than the lady running the register was able to tonight. When I got to the register I was informed that they didn't have carrots. That's fine, just celery will be okay. I check over my order, I'm tired of missing items. I inform her that I'm missing my dips (again). She checked my bag to confirm, gave me my dips, said have a good night. But I'm missing my drinks. We have used this establishment for multiple work events at the hospital, mostly due to the fact that the entire team LOVES the food, but also because of the great service they provide. Let me also say that when we order, it's a BIG order! Our last order was 1,200 wings plus sides. Even when there was a hiccup with the delivery service through Doordash (huge thumbs down for them and whomever the driver "Madison M." really is who cancelled our order!!), Brandon went above and beyond to get things right for us and kept in touch with me throughout the entire workday to ensure the matter was handled. After reading all these reviews, I am nor shocked or surprised at the experience of the other customers. My family and I came to order takeout. The store had 2 customers eating, and a person who just left from picking up an order. We ordered the 30 bone in- wings, bbq, lemon pepper, lousiana rub. Under the name NIKO. We noticed that both of the ladies had no gloves on, and were handling the chicken so, into the fryer. It felt like forever for the wings to finish, again the store was not busy, whatsoever. When the wings were finally done, neither of the ladies had gloves on. They then started to bicker back and forth on which sauces needed to be placed in what bowl for the chicken. Finally got the food and left only to come home and realize the wings were DRENCHED in oil and not nearly enough of sauce. I tried calling a few times with no answer. I tried calling their phone twice to place a togo order and the never answered so when we came to the restaurant they told us that they didn't take call in orders after 10 which we wouldn't know because it doesn't say anywhere on their website. First I like Wing Stop. Was excited when it opened, but I have not had a good experience yet in the 4 times I have ordered. This is NOT about the food, its the SERVICE. This place needs a ADULT to manage it. The service is SLOW, I called in a order and verified that the food would be ready in 20 minutes. I get there to a 18 year old kid telling me that it would be 20 minutes, it had been 25 minutes. People standing around everywhere, 3 kids in the back playing around and doing some orders.
