One person in our party waited twenty minutes for their food after everyone else. Another was served the wrong food and just kept it due to experience we were currently having. The drink my son never arrived. I sent my nasty food back. Was so aggravated and ready to leave failed to notice I was over charged. I did let the waitress and hostess know I was not happy. I was seated quickly as a party of one. After ordering a couple of flavors that weren't available, I landed on the Buffalo dry rub with bleu cheese and a side of fries. While I should have put down something as a reference for size, the wings were just a bit larger a double AA battery. They were cooked well. There is a reason this place has 1.5 stars. Avoid it. We had given up on this location before Covid but were in the mood for wings so decided to see if it has improved. It hasn't. I swear they only had one server for the whole restaurant at lunch time, and although she ran her b_tt off, there was no way she could provide decent service. The food took forever to come out. The traditional wings were OK but they put the wrong sauce on them. The boneless wings were awful - like pressed chopped chicken. They reminded me of MacDonalds chicken nuggets. How is this place still open? Broken glass in my drink in early October. Waited to post a review contingent on corporate or the store trying to make things right. Was served shards of glass in a drink. No one involved with Buffalo Wild Wings seemed to be disturbed by this hard core lapse in service; particularly the fact that broken glass can kill or seriously injure someone if imbibed. If you're going to spend your hard earned money in a corporate restaurant environment, at least spend it in a place where they care whether you live or die. I will never go back to this B Dubs, and probably will never go back to a Buffalo Wild Wing ever again. The blatant lack of care regarding a guest experience, particularly when it's a safety issue, ensures that I will find other avenues to eat/drink and will not frequent this establishment ever again. Late night options are limited in Gainesville, but go find somewhere else to hang out after your shift other than this place. Not the worst but not the best plus my fiancé is literally having a mysterious allergic reaction to their food right now. So we were in tonight for a date night after receiving a gift card for Christmas and really craving wings. We were told a 30-45min wait and it was closer to an hour. Clearly they are understaffed along with everywhere else as they had tables just not enough wait staff for them. We ordered drinks and they were all delicious and we also ordered a few appetizers. The pretzel knots are wonderful but had a bit too much seasoning stuff on them. Overall they were perfect texture wise and flavor profile was pleasing. The tots we got were wonderful and I'd honestly order them as a meal. Now. On to the wings. For one they were huge which is awesome when you consider the price point. Hate to have tiny wimpy wings at around $1/wing. They were cooked well (could've been crispier but they weren't slimy) and decently sauced. My all flats order was followed which was perfect. Their ranch/blue cheese is trash though. So many better blue cheese and ranches in the world. Theirs was watery and just not good and honestly the ranch/blue cheese makes the wings experience in my opinion so that was a let down. The flavors - mango habanero - delightful other than the mystery allergic reaction from my fiancé who isn't allergic to mango or habanero Spicy garlic- delightful and not too hot of a spice. Got the Parmesan garlic sauce on the side and mixed it. Medium- classic and delicious. DON'T DO THE BLAZIN' CHALLENGE! NOT WORTH $14!!! (Written by my wife) We took the BLAZIN' challenge. And my husband WAS A CHAMP and completed it. Was told 5 minutes eat them...free meal and MERCH. We were excited for the MERCH-shirt, hat a mug ect!! What we got was a measly headband. At the time to pay, we were then told my husband had to beat the record of 2 minutes and 15 seconds. But that was NEVER told to us-he could have stopped after 2 minutes and 15 seconds...instead of enduring more pain. Oh-Women's bathrooms were over flowing with 'water'. This Buffalo Wild Wings is pretty standard. It can be a hit or miss. The first time I came to this location everything was GREAT. The appetizers and wings were served piping hot. Our wings were extra wet as we requested! Everything just tasted hot, crispy, and delicious. Since then though things haven't lived up to that first visit. Usually are visits are OK to good. Sometimes the wings are served hot, other times they are lukewarm or kind of cold. Sometimes the wings are crispy and cooked well done, other times they seem slightly undercooked (like the outside is a little too slimy). Almost always, even though we request our wings extra wet the wings aren't extra wet or well coated. Sometimes the wings seem dry even though the sticker label on the platter they serve you says "EX-WET". I would honestly tell them if they could make it extra extra wet at this point. Service is usually good and most of the servers are sweet! But sometimes it can be a miss. I wouldn't recommend hosting a large party here. One time we had a birthday party here with about 10 people. They don't take reservations and when we came in they weren't busy, but they were very overwhelmed taking our orders and did not handle it well. People got their food at different times or received their wrong drinks or menu items (and no one had a complicated order. Everyone requested food as it came on the menu). As for payment, they did not handle it well and had a hard time taking payments because they wanted us to do it electronically instead of taking our cards for each order. A lot of us were charged for the wrong menu items and when we informed staff some of them insisted we ordered those items even though we didn't and the items were on the wrong tickets. They mixed a lot of our orders together. Overall though that is not the norm and service is usually fine. I will still continue to come back to this location but I hope they improve with time in terms of consistent food quality. read more

Ordered snack size traditional wings, salt & vinegar flavored, carrots, & a side garden salad. Received food but no cutlery. I pushed the salad out to the side of the table, hoping to draw someone's attention. Then when my glass was empty, I hoped someone would come by to refill it - I was drinking water. The only time someone came to my table was to let me know they would bring me my check. I was then asked how my meal way. You could tell it was an automatic question as he then asked what was wrong with the salad when he noticed I hadn't touched it. I informed him I didn't have any cutlery. I see a lot of bad reviews for this establishment but we decided to try it anyway. This location has a health score of 97. Restaurant was not busy when we arrived on Sunday at lunch. The restaurant got busy by 1:00. We were greeted and seated quickly. The waitresss took our order about 3 minutes later . Drinks came 5 minutes later and door came about 15 minutes after that. So no service problems. I had the 10 piece wild winks which came out hot and the spice was hot also . The Wilde has the double burger was was cooked well and tasted very good . I ordered a side of fries. The side added 3.59 to my order and was a portion the size of a medium fry at McDonald's . This was a terrible value for the money. Wife had the potatoes wedges with her burger and they are a much tastier choice. I had the hot wings which were cooked well and were a good size. My medium wings were more vinegar and extremely salty along with the side of fries we ordered. It was WAY over priced than what we were expecting.. really wish we had gone next door than eating here. Tonight was a very disappointing visit, and as a result, we will not return. We arrived at 8:45, not greeted until 8:55 when a waitress came by to ask if we had been assisted yet. We chose to sit at a high top in the bar area and were handed menus to take with us. We ordered drinks (mixed drink for wife, beer for me) and a chips & queso to munch on, which came out quickly. My wife tried her drink and it accidentally slipped out of her hand, spilling across the table. We covered the mess as best we could with napkins. We asked for a replacement drink. Our waitress told us she would have to get the manager. 25 minutes later, the manager (Lateisha) finally shows up at the table and simply says "Yes?". In all this time, the spilled drink is still across the table, no replacement or alternatives offered, and our actual food order was never taken. We asked our waitress for the check, paid, and left. While waiting for our check, the manager walks over to the waitress and made a derogatory comment about us which I was able to overhear. This buffalo wild wings is absolutely horrendous. Imediatly when we got there NO lights were on (they stay open till 1 am, we got there around 10:50) not even parking lights were on, big hazard. Then absolutely no staff working to host about 5 works saw us stand there talked to us and proceeded to not help up nor find someone to seat us. Not to mention the floors covered with spills and toile paper and no staff making the effort to pick up not clean any of it. They all have seen it, looked at it and walk around it. The manager sat on his phone, specifically on facetime and practically took laps around the restaurant to look like he was doing something. while everyone was eating, all the lighs were turned off the only lights on were the tv's. we got our food fairly quick but it was very dry and not very flavorful. (wrap and the street tacos) no wonder there was no staff.. they were ALL sitting a table in the middle of their costumers and simply talking and cracking jokes regarding the fact that there were people to be helped. if you want to be treated properly then this is not the restaurant to go to. especially since it isn't clean. read more

Cold, Chewy Wings and Excessive Wait Times This was my second time getting takeout from this location; never again. Carry out should be a simple endeavor. I order online, you give me a set time, I come grab my food at said time. This is not what happened... My order was confirmed at 8:04 for an 8:40 pickup. I arrived early at 8:37. The waitress confirmed my payment and told me my food was just being packed up. I sit there patiently for the next twenty minutes. Annoyed, I get the attention of the staff and am assured that it is still, just being packed up. My food doesn't come out for ten more minutes. After waiting half an hour for a to-go order I'm out the restaurant at 9:07. Oh no, the fun doesn't stop there. Upon returning home I opened my order to find a sad excuse for boneless buffalo wings. Tiny little nuggets, barely covered in sauce. I'm starving at this point and dive on in. Frustration turns to anger. They were chewy and cold. My $10.99 wings that I had sat there 30 minutes waiting for were cold! To-Go orders aren't complicated and neither are boneless wings. Wild Wing Cafe seems to do a great job. They kept blaming it on the fact that it's "fight night " , but it was not busy at all . Most of the tables that were busy were done eating , so the waiters were free . Keep in mind we had a reservation and a person of our party there an hour before . They said we cannot sit a party unless all guests of the party are here. What is that? As a previous server I have always sat a party down regardless of how many members of the party were there at the moment. This is unacceptable. At that point we were so hungry and angry we just ate to get out of there. The issue was in the kitchen as the restaurant wasn't that busy and had plenty of wait staff. Waitress took off a % from our check, but the manager didn't come by. He/she probably was tired of hearing complaints. I suggest waiting at least 3 months before trying this place. Now I'm not entirely sure who has failed this particular location, everyone from the individual who answered the phone, to the host, to the server was entirely made up of grouchy pissed off individuals that don't belong in customer service.
