I'm shocked at their 2 1/2 star rating, but it seems most of the reviews are quite a long time ago. Zaxby's was helping with a fundraiser for First Baptist Church of FWB, so they were very busy. The friendly woman at the counter took her time to explain the dry rubs and answered other questions we had about the menu. The food came out quickly, which surprised me since they were quite busy with the fairly long line at the drive thru. Everything was hot and freshly made. The lemon pepper chicken strips were far superior to Wing Stop and other places that have rubs. I loved the seasoning on their French fries. Zaxby's chicken sandwich was super crunchy. I love Popeyes chicken sandwiches, but Zaxby's is just as good. Next time, I'll have to try their spicy chicken sandwich to see how it compares to Popeyes. A worker walked around cleaning tables after guests left and asked patrons how they were enjoying their food. I think I found my favorite fast food restaurant in town. I don't like most fast food places, so the next time I travel, I know Zaxby's will be a place I'd stop. I highly recommend this Zaxby's if you're looking for a good fast food restaurant! read more

This probably has to be the most disgusting Zaxby's I've ever been to. As soon as you walk in, you recognize that it's just not clean. One of the big hints is that your shoes stick to the floor in some places but slip in other places. It's definitely not clean. On the plus side, the service is good. The attendant was nice and friendly. The fries were soggy, but the wings were pretty good. It's been a long time since I've been to Zaxby's. I probably won't go back for another long time. read more

Zero customer service. Salad was completely wilted and warm. No receipt given. No one answers the phone. Do not go here. Wasted my entire lunch break and money for food I can't eat. When I say the worst Zaxby's ever, this is the worst. I got cold and hard boneless wings/nuggets. Cold fries that had so much seasoning that all I tasted was salt and this after waiting 10 or 15 minutes. When I say don't waste your money, please please don't waster your money. Zaxby's is one of my go to fast food joint for a good chicken sandwich! Right when you walk in you can tell the set up is like most fast food restaurants resembling a Wendy's McDonald's or Taco Bell. There's a kiosk available to order food at, or you can go up to the front counter. Today was an exceptionally slow day for this particular Zaxby's location. I waited about 30 minutes for my food and I didn't see a line that was worthy of that wait time. I asked the folks what was going on, and they stated we're just very short staffed. I appreciate the honesty, however I was in a big hurry. I felt bad for the shift workers because they were completely overwhelmed with the amount of orders they had. Overall the food was as described and very tasty. I would highly recommend the management fill the shift with the appropriate amount of personnel so next time I give a five star review. read more

I ordered online at 5:40pm for 5:50 pickup. Go inside to the pickup counter, tell the lady the name on the order and then stood waiting. I wait for 20min. (They were busy I get it) finally the cook noticed I'd been there for awhile and asked one of his coworkers what I was waiting on. She goes over and picks up the bags that had apparently been sitting for awhile and handed them to me and just says have a good day. The food wasn't even warm at this point. The lobby of this establishment is absolutely disgusting. Chicken scattered all over the floor, there are many sticky spots near every open table. They only have 50% capacity, which is okay. But the least they could do is keep the open tables clean, and these were not. The workers were very rude to customers as they asked for napkins, cups, etc. I understand the new accommodations due to Covid-19 but this was ridiculous. Stopped in today for a quick lunch before hitting the beach. The food was hot and fresh, but the service from Gwen was poor! We are loyal Zaxby's customers and I had a BOGO Zax Snak receipt since I took the surgery online. It was from a few weeks ago and she told me I couldn't use it because it had been past the 14 days. I told her it says the survey has to be done by then, not the BOGO by then. In my hometown they honor it all the time with no problems. She raised her voice at me several times saying the same thing over and over. I let it go. Since I couldn't use that offer, I had a reward for a free kids meal with an adult purchase. I tried to order that but every time I scanned it the system would freeze. Gia was very nice and apologetic and kept trying to get it to work. Gwen come back over and basically said "oh well." Gia asked if she could overwrite it since they saw it in my rewards and she said absolutely not and turned around. I am not sure if she is a manager or what but she is rude and needs to treat her customers with respect. This location is like every other Zaxby's location. The people are pretty nice and the food taste the same as every other Zaxby's. What is different is that they choose to play contemporary Christian music on the radio in the restaurant. If you were like me you don't want to have your ears assaulted by homoerotic love songs to a man that's been dead for two thousand years. Ordered Zaxby's on Waitr. Estimated wait was 1hour. Chicken was cold. Bread was solid as a rock. They gave us an extra drink that we didn't order. It felt like the fries were stale. Missing dipping sauces that were on the order (and paid for). Does Zaxby's cook the food then leave it out while they wait for the Waitr driver? They know the driver has to bring it to you, why wouldn't they cook it on the spot for the driver? Horrible experience. Only reason I didn't give one star is because the food actually showed up... I was excited to visit this place while in Florida as It would be my first time here . My friends raved about the food and I am a huge chicken fan so I had to make it my business to get some before I left . Food - I had the tenders and wing combo . First the cashier took my order and the charges jumped up from 7.99 to 11 and some change I asked why was the price increased ? She replied "idk the computer is doing it " . I said okay well can you get someone else to come assist because that cant be right . She said yeah im not sure why it is doing that . The Manager came over and recharged my order-The same thing happened. I asked again why is it charging so much just to have them dipped in the sauce I asked is there a different rub or anything that may be done that can justify the price increase. The "Manager " says no I dont know why its telling me this price I know that is crazy but that's what the computer is saying . Then as my friends interject to voice how they have gotten that before with no up charge. The "Manager" says "oh well we don't have a container to dip the tenders in for hot honey mustard. Food was good but it's clear this store lacks proper management. Many staff members were scattered about the lobby sitting down on breaks, along with multiple employees who were off for the day but still went behind the counters and actively worked in regular clothes. It took over five minutes before we could order and no one was there to ask if you needed anything else when the order was sat on the counter. read more

I went there for a 32 oz cold slaw. The only had ONE Size. The small one. I got 8 and it was only 1/2 of of what I wanted

Walked in around 1pm and immediately noticed the dining area was very dirty. There are about 20 tables and booths and 3/4 of them where not wiped down or cleaned at all. Food and garbage all over the floor. I was there 45 minutes and they remained dirty the entire time. Not a single employee walked into the dining area. I got the Zalad which blue cheese and grilled chicken. The chicken had been cooked quite a long time ago and had a grey dry color...it was old and chewy. Salad portion was very small for $8. Kids got chicken wings which also tasted like they were fried hours and hours ago...they were mushy and tasteless. The staff was very friendly but it seems they were potentially understaffed or too focused on Drive thru hard to blame though in the middle of the Covid. Dining room overall was clean but they had no one to clean after someone left a table. Zaxbys chicken is usually pretty good. This one tends to serve chicken on the colder side, it's about a 50% they'll remember extra toast instead of slaw if you ask. Their sauce is really good. Usually pretty clean inside. read more
