Their 2 star rating is safely intact. Not e"Zaxby" fast or inexpensive for a fast food place. 11 minutes to get basically the simplest thing on the menu. I walked up to the front counter with no line, I guess you're not skipping the line at the drive thru. The service and management is horrible. I ordered items through the Zaxbys website to be delivered by DoorDash. The store didn't give them over half the order. I call the store the young lady laughs and asks if I'm coming to pick it up. I say no because I already paid and tipped to have it delivered. then they tell me to call doordash and DoorDash says either I'd have to reorder or wait TWELVE DAYS for a refund. when I found myself on this side of town again I try to get the remainder of the order I paid for and I am told no, by management. Kind of a let down that a place that says it's not fast food doesn't give fresh food. I ordered white cheddar bites that tasted as though they had been sitting out all day and my tenders were dry and small for the meal to cost as much as it is this should've never happened. This particular Zaxby's is always out of something. They always run out of drinks (particularly the fruity drinks). They always run out of wing flavors. Also sometimes the fries they give you are raw when bitten. I have given them many chances and have been disappointed. The only reason I am giving them two stars is because there is a sweet light skin girl with glasses who is always so kind and enthusiastic! Overall needs new management if they can't keep everything in stock. If you know it's a popular item order extra of it. I went inside during lunch which I expected it to be busy but I feel the wait time for what I received was trash. I waited 20 min for a chicken salad sandwich and received a glob of Mayo. This is my first time ordering from this restaurant but not that meal from other Zaxbys restaurants. I had to turn around and get a refund. They took up my entire lunch. In the drive-through line was backed up. The employees all appeared to be pretty young and I assumed them to be highschoolers. I saw one female that might have been the only adult there as the manager. The wait time was long, but expected with the number of patrons inside and outside the restaurant. I ordered my go to meal which was a garden salad and fried mushrooms. It continues to be exactly what I need, so no complaints on the taste of the food. I have a customer service from the employees was really good which I was a little surprised about Since they all seemed pretty young. Awful! I don't like to criticize restaurants especially fast food ones with this low of a rating but I'm going to have to make it exception to policy. This may be the greasiest place that I've ever been and that's saying a lot because I frequently have eaten at Whitecastle. Absolutely everything is fried including the grease itself. I was very impressed for all the wrong reasons when I first came in and then was blasted with horrible odor. The customer service was absolutely a joke. None of the people on the front counter seem to know anything about what they were doing or about the food. And for the love of God, can somebody down here please have actual real sugar?!? I don't want sweet tea because it's like sucking pure sugar through a straw and the idea of adding Splenda and sweet and low to unsweetened tea does not sound good either. This place isn't really cheap for the low quality of the food that you get. I don't know, maybe grease prices are just higher than normal here. And would it kill them to offer something green? Even the lettuce was brown! The tiny slivers of celery with the wings were the only semblance of acceptable healthy food. I better conclude this review before the heart attack sets in.
