Usually Chick-fil-a get great reviews from me, but unfortunately this go around at this location wasn't pleasant. My wife and I sat and ordered from the mobile app as we normally do. The food was good and served hot and fresh. However, the service wasn't the STANDARD of the Chick-fil-a Brand. Two young ladies refreshed drinks at 4 other tables near us, but no one ever approached our table. So my wife go to the counter and stand off to the side of the counter where you normally would get refills. She literally stood there about 5 mins with no one approaching her. There was only 2 people in line and 4 working behind the counter. So my wife decided to get in the line for a refill. When she got to the register and asked for a refill, the first thing the cashier say to her is "Are You Dining In?" So my wife had to prove to her that we were sitting at the table adjacent to the counter. Then young lady who was taking orders told my wife, "For future reference, if you stand at the end of the counter, someone would refresh your beverage." So my wife responded and said "I did but no one came to assist me." This entire experience was spoiled by the unprofessional attitude of one cashier. Mobile thru orders take longer than drive thru. Disappointed every time I come to this location.

The food is delicious, as always. And Charles is the sweetest man! He is the helper who refreshed our beverages, cleared our food, talk to and played with our young son. Another customer even walked in and said they came because they knew he would be there and he is so wonderful. Definitely will be coming here more regularly after the wonderful experience. read more

Food was fine after paying twice and going through the line twice. I ordered, paid and waited in the long drive through I received my milk shakes was told to pull up and wait. After 8 minutes of sitting with no food and horns honking I went back through the drive through. I am crippled so going in wasn't an option. I waited in line again 41 minutes and ordered again. I finally got my order. Total. $ 52 for 3 sandwiches and 2 milkshakes. The manager did give me 3 gift cards for deserts that I threw away I will never go back to this location. People love Chick-fil-A and I get it. However, maybe I'm simply jaded from all the fantastic restaurants we have in NYC to ever think that a fast food shop is the end all be all to my food dreams. What I will say is that this location has tremendous lines everyday during lunch and somehow effectively guides all patrons through the process relatively quickly. Chickfila is a wonderful restaurant, kind staff, and delicious food! Although , my sons and I always smell a weird smell around the kitchen / cash register area. It smells like dirty armpits and sweat. It makes me want to vomit everytime I go in there. Love their food! Haven't had issues with attitudes or speed like others from this location (even with the new drive-thru). I do think their drive-thru could have been a little more well thought out because once you're in, YOU'RE IN lol but... hindsight, right? Don't get hung up on the little things like that. It hasn't caused any issues so far for me even when they're super busy. They make sure to speed things along regardless.... It's sadly not a stretch, but they are very expensive for "fast food". I will also add that their lemonade is the best hands-down. Don't care where you go, you buy it from or if you made it yourself. This is by far the slowest operating chicfila I have encountered. Management needs to send down some employees to the Summerville location. They have a well oiled machine. Waited 30 mins for my breakfast that they tried to not give me and it wasn't because of the line. It was because of the operation. I would expect this from Zaxby's but not such a reputable food service chain. Did not even bother moving cars up when they were having issues at the window... I 've been going to this location since 2011, and I swear I never had a single issue until the last six months. My last SIX orders have been completely missing portions of my meal or straight up wrong. The first three times, I didn't whine or complain because everyone has their off days, but now I realize it's not off days. I've asked for extra pickles and gotten no pickles, twice my side of Mac and cheese has been missing entirely, tonight I got my extra pickles...and a second container of pickles instead of Mac and cheese, I've gotten a spicy chicken sandwich in a regular deluxe sandwich labeled box instead of a regular deluxe sandwich, gotten the wrong drink, and regular nuggets instead of grilled nuggets. I've tried to call and get a refund since I place my order on the app to ensure my order isn't put in wrong, but the phone goes unanswered and if you leave a message no one calls back. I got ahold of them once via Facebook message, but it's absolutely insane that I have to resort to that form of communication in order to get my order refunded. I'm so far beyond over it, I just won't come to this location anymore. I know, I know, so many first world problems...but half the reason I frequent CFA is because I was always certain my order was correct. McDonalds gets orders right more often than this Chick Fil A. I don't know what caused them to take a huge nosedive in consistency and accuracy, but it's a bummer and I'm done wasting money here. I personally think Chick-fil-a gets it right way more than they get it wrong, but DO NOT GO HERE! Do not waste your time at this location. If anyone has ever had their Market Salad, it is amazing, but only with the Apple Cider Vinaigrette dressing. So last night, after picking up kids, my wife hit the drive thru and then came home. Once opening the bag ( yes, she could have checked it before leaving the drive thru but Chick-fil-a makes so few mistakes that no one thinks to check) my wife realized the dressing was left out of the bag. At that point she said she didn't even want the salad without the dressing. Neither my wife nor I wanted to spend another 20 minutes driving back and forth to the restaurant after finally making it home for the evening. I proceeded to call that location and no one answered the phone. I called about 8:10pm after checking that they closed at 9pm. I left a voicemail to see what they would be willing to do. It's a $10 salad. Lol I decided to call back about 5 minutes later and again got the voicemail. Today, about 2pm, I called and was able to talk to Kim who said she was one of the managers. After explaining the situation, I asked if they could comp my wife a salad for the next time she goes there to which she said "we cannot". She explained that the dressing was free so there was nothing to comp. I asked who else I could talk to bc at this point I was in disbelief. The salad literally cost like $2 if that. After being sent to one of the Directors there she followed suit with Kim and said there was nothing to do bc the dressing is free. I explained that the ONLY reason my wife gets the salad is bc of the dressing. I also said that we literally go there all the time and I also go to the one near my work several times a week. We literally spend $250 + a month there and asked if there was an allowance for customer satisfaction. To which she said she couldn't do anything. Tonight we went to Chick-fil-A and it will be a long time before we return! This is a place we have gone to a lot in the past but it seems that they are not up to what they have done in the past. Our normal order is simple. A couple of sandwiches, waffle fries, and chocolate shakes. Lately the fries are never hot and we have to pull up to wait for something which should never happen! Tonight we had to wait on the chocolate shakes which turned out to be more like chocolate milk and not very good chocolate milk at that! It wasn't very cold and way too much chocolate. Like someone just didn't care about what they were doing when they made them. The other thing, and this really surprised me, was the way the staff seemed to lack the normal attitude they normally have at ChickFillet. It was like none of them just "gave a crap!" Well, there are many other places in Lexington and the surrounding area where we can go to eat and spend our money if we want fast food. This is a solid Chick-fil-A location. I've visited here a few times now for lunch, it's down the street from where I work. It's pretty busy at lunch time but I usually go in and the line moves pretty quickly. The staff is very friendly and helpful, like most Chick-fil-A locations. I usually get the chicken sandwich meal and every time the sandwich and fries have been hot and fresh. They also have amazing sweet tea, its the perfect amount of sweetness. I usually go there about once a week, and I have never had any issues. The food is exquisite, and the service is unparalleled. Some may complain about the drive thru, but it is very easy for one to become accustomed to after a few times. There aren't many restaurants that I am willing to drive twenty minutes across town for, but chicken nuggets have always been there for me when no one else was. Never in my life have I had any issues with getting the wrong food, and they even accommodate me when I forget how much money I have left on my endless stack of Chick Fil A gift cards. Even yesterday when I came at lunch time and I was sure I would spend at least twenty minutes in the drive through, they were very professional and efficient with the way they handled traffic. Im always a fan of Chickfila no matter the time or day. This Chickfila, like many others, stays busy. If the drive through is backed up you will probably get better and faster service just going inside and ordering at the counter. This location is always clean, even the bathrooms.
