Their food here is excellent, no bad service. Their Zac sauce is super tasty. Ambiance is nice.

This is one of the worse zaxbys in Athens, the customer service sucks, the fries are cold most the time and not seasoned well, and they're so slow even when you're nearly the only patron there. All the employees just give you this lead paint stare and aren't friendly at all. read more

I placed a mobile order that said it would be ready to go at 7:53 pm. I got to the pickup spot at 7:50, put in my number, then proceeded to sit and wait. At 8:25 pm, the app was still reading my order as received, so I decided to go in and check. The cashier went and looked for my order and eventually found it. The entire time that she was looking for it, I could hear the other staff members griping and complaining about how they "didn't see me sitting there" even though someone else had pulled up and gotten their order as I was sitting in the parking spot. When my food was given to me, all I received was cold, soggy food and an excuse of "there are only 6 of us working tonight." Mind you, there were only 2 patrons in the store eating and I counted 13 other vehicles who went through the drive through, ordered, and got their food. read more

The service is usually pretty decent, I wouldn't say exceptional, just feels very neutral sometimes leaning towards friendly. On the other hand, the food is so hit or miss. It can be the the chicken tenders being overcooked and mega salty, the wings being bland, dry, or overcooked, and the fries being overcooked and underseasoned or overseasoned. The toast is also super salty at times too. Today, my food was extremely salty, everything was salty this time. The wings and everything were so average. It was actually my worst experience that I had to write a review. This was the best Zaxbys in my opinion too, especially when comparing it to West Broad, but this place was an ultimate miss today. Way way way way too salty. read more

I ordered two salads with lite vinaigrette and extra dressing and was given ranch dressing, and I also ordered two large sweet teas which were unsweetened. The order was repeated back was correct. They were fast but not efficient. If I could give this location zero stars I would. I called the restaurant and was told I could come back and get the correct dressing, and I had worked 12 hours. This was before we tasted the teas that were unsweetened. I believe Zaxbys Corporation should give me a full refund since my order was incorrect. read more

Love the managers. Muy amable y super eficiente. Estoy muy satisfecha con la comida. Un excelente trato al publico.

On July 12 our school had an event for 65 people that we had done an online order for a couple days prior. My team had inadvertently not put the payment info in timely. When we realized it, there was no option for reordering on-line. The morning of the 12th I called corporate and spoke with Ryan Blackwell. Ryan contacted the Epps Bridge location. Joe, the general manager, had 65 meals prepared and ready for me to pick up at 5 pm. I arrived at 4:45. The order was ready, hot, and he already had three employees on standby to help me get everything to my car. THIS kind of customer service is exactly why we love Zaxby's. THANK YOU to Ryan Blackwell for helping our crisis situation and THANK YOU to Joe and the Zaxby's Epps Bridge team for their awesome customer service. You all saved our event! read more

Food came out hot and fast. Service was great, we got here at 12:15 on a Saturday and had our food within 5 minutes from the time we entered the door. Only negative was a slight pickle odor when we walked in. read more

I went go get the new chicken parm loaded fries and a medium coke cost 12.51 which is insane when it's not even a meal. Opened it up when I got home there was no chicken. read more

Horrible service, employees just standing around looking at each other like they are trying to decide who is going to step up and take your order. Drive thru line closed half the time. Order NEVER right, food rarely fresh. Just drive the extra mile to chikfila read more

Waited 30 minutes ON A ZALAD the other night. Absolutely ridiculous. Service is so slow at this location.

Dining room closed for health concerns. I'm driving a tank truck and can't go to the drive through. I nicely ask inside if I can place an order to go and am told no. Why can't you fill a to go order? read more

Consumerism in this time has become a very unpleasant experience but today's working crew made it a pleasure! A special THANK YOU to those working here 5/22 at noon!!! read more

This was my first Zaxby's experience! While in the south, I want to try out as much fried chicken as I possibly can, because I love it. So I'm a fan, but not a huge fan. Maybe it's because I didn't grow up in these parts and need to try Zaxby's a few more times until I figure out what my Zaxby's passion is. Here's what I will say: the chicken in the sliders I ordered was hot and just-cooked fresh. I probably should've just ordered the chicken strips instead - next time I'll know. I found the servers to be very professional and friendly (and patient with me while I figured out what to order!) read more

I love Zaxby's and the Big Zax Snack but this location sucks. They drive thru is slow and last time I went they forgot to give me a Zaxby's sauce which was really disappointing because the sauce is the whole reason I love Zaxbys so much. read more

Had lunch at Zaxby's at Epps Bridge yesterday. Ordered the Zensation Salad because it's usually quite yummy. There wasn't an ounce of chicken on the salad and it was cut up into tiny little pieces, smaller than the size of a pea. The egg roll was cold and soggy. Very disappointed. Paying $8 for lettuce and cabbage ain't going to cut it. BTW Epps Bridge is always filthy. Need to get your act together. read more

i get a ducking nibbles meal and y'all give me this???? i literally can say i work in the service industry and this shit i making me more mad . if i wanted just tenders i' would've fucking ordered them. read more

Zaxbys - FUCK YALL PUSSIESSSS - Chicken Wings Near Me - Athens, Georgia

Received burnt chicken tenders, undercooked fries, oh and the best part was I got 2 little cups of hot honey mustard, both filled maybe 1/3 of the way to the top. THANK YOU FOR THIS EXPERIENCE read more

My wings barely had any sauce and at any other Zaxby's, they'd usually be drenched in it. The drive-thru lady closed the window in my face when I attempted to ask for more sauce. Extremely rude and slow service. Next time, I know to drive the extra 5 miles to the other Zaxby's location in Athens! read more

We always make it a point to stop by Zaxby's when we're in town. I always get a plate with no coleslaw with an extra piece of toast. Love the Zaxby's sauce. My parents split a chicken salad. Everything was great as usual. read more

Great fried chicken salad Server was willing to have my toast done extra which was awesome read more

We were just passing through Athens and stopped here. What a great place! We were literally doted on by the manager and staff. Great food and excellent, personalized service. read more

I visit this Zaxby's drive-thru location fairly often and it's usually really good but occasionally it's just plain gross. I've only gone inside a few times and the floor is always slippery from grease and oil! I don't understood why there hasn't been multiple slip and fall cases in the news! With all that said, the single most frustrating issue that I have with this location is the incredibly slow drive-thru!! There's absolutely no reason for this location to be so darn SLOW . The excessive wait times are created by Poor Management and lack of preparedness since they appear to have plenty of help. I noticed that the location on Gains School Rd. has really sped up their drive-thru time. I asked the woman at the window how they became so much faster and she told me that they had acquired and implemented a timer device for the window. It's been working great! But I want to take this opportunity to caution everyone about the KFC on Gains School Rd... Be Ware! It's managed and operated by the most ignorant people on the planet. They will eventually cause that location to close down. The food is nasty and the service is just as bad! read more

General feeling of "unclean"- musty odor and humid air when you come into entrance. Inside there are never any clean tables, feels crowded with too many chairs and the food seems like it was cooked yesterday. This zaxbys needs management badly. Parking lot is dirty too- shame because this is a great area, we go to a different location because of these issues. read more

horrible service waited over 35 minutes for wings and things. the food came out cold too. don't come here the service here sucks.

Slowest restaurant in Athens. Chicken & fries taste like they were cooked the previous.

This is the WORST Zaxbys ever. My family and I just moved to the area, and I am so disappointed that this is the type of service that is considered acceptable. We are long time lovers of Zaxbys, but after THREE attempts at this particular location, we will not return. The food is served old--and we had to wait 15-20 minutes for our meal with no apology. read more
