I opted to go go for a regular coffee with room for cream. I was not offered a choice of coffee but coffee but I figured it was good in any case so no matter. I went to the condiments station to dress my coffee and was disappointed to find only creamers in the little plastic containers you find at a Loves travel stop or a Denny's... Bummer. Oh well. I still got some coffee, but truthfully it isn't much better than what I brewed in my room with the little packets. I wouldn't be such a snob about it, but we are in a high end resort and I expected better here.

Even though it was near closing time on a busy Saturday night the employees were smiling and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and truly every employee I saw was pleasant and helpful. The jalapeño cheese curds were excellent! They were actually spicier than I had expected. I love jalapeños but many things that are advertised as jalapeño contain just a hint of jalapeño but these were spicy and full of jalapeño. I also ordered a grilled cheese and it was very good too. I know the jalapeño cheese curds are only a limited time feature but I wish Culver's would consider adding them to the regular menu.

We came in at 1pm on a Wednesday to only one employee working, which worried us initially since we had a party of 6 but she got to us quickly and had our food ready in under 15 minutes. It feels like an old German inn. The waitress staff wore cultural dresses. They even have a cute little gift shop. The salad bar looked fresh with plenty of options. I had the Ruben. It was delicious. It does not come with any sauce, but the waitress was happy to grab me thousand island. This was probably one of the best Ruben's I've had. As far as the museum aspect, there are many displays. Down one wall are many car models, train models, liquor decanters and numerous other German items.
