Hoy en día es difícil encontrar un mecánico honesto y confiable, pero José lo es. Recomiendo mucho a José en Diego's Auto Service. ¡Gracias de nuevo!

Brad and Chris have always been very accommodating for my schedule. Unfortunately, had my oil changed yesterday (2/1/24) by Ken and it was sloppily done. While driving the vehicle away it started to smoke, especially while sitting at a stop light. Pulled into a parking lot and opened the hood and smoke started rolling out. At that point noticed a large spill of oil from the fill spout down the engine block. Called and Brad and explained what was going on, took it back so they could clean the mess made by Ken. We know spills happen, but cleaning up after such a spill is the sign of someone who cares about the work that they do. I will definitely be back, but only if Ken does not do a simple oil change.

I brought my vehicle in thinking I was dealing with a straightforward issue, but the quote I…read morereceived left a bad taste in my mouth. The parts listed were things you can easily price out yourself, and the markup on them felt excessive. I understand shops need to make a profit, but this didn't feel like a reasonable margin, it felt like straight-up price gouging. On top of that, nothing about the explanation gave me confidence that they were trying to help me find the most cost-effective solution. It came across more like they were taking advantage of the situation rather than being transparent and fair. I'm all for paying for quality work, but there's a difference between fair pricing and inflating costs because you can. I'd recommend getting a second opinion before committing here. After receiving an outrageous $2,500 quote from another mechanic, I decided to reach out to Squeaky Brakes, and I'm extremely glad I did. Not only did they take the time to properly diagnose my vehicle, but they also offered me a significantly more affordable rate without compromising the quality of their work. I had the pleasure of meeting Rick, who is genuinely one of the most honest, knowledgeable, and hardworking mechanics I've dealt with. He discovered that my water pump had completely seized and rusted due to neglect from the previous owner. Despite the difficulty of the repair, Rick managed to replace the water pump, clean everything up, and get my Cadillac running again without overheating. What really stood out to me was his honesty and communication throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain what had gone wrong, what needed to be repaired, and how I could better maintain my vehicle moving forward. As someone who relies on this car every day, that kind of transparency means a lot. Even after the initial repair, when my check engine light came on due to a damaged O-ring and loose line, Rick stood behind his work. He came back, diagnosed the issue, and fixed everything at absolutely no additional cost. My Cadillac now runs quietly, idles smoothly, and no longer has any warning lights. It's difficult to find mechanics who genuinely care about their customers rather than just making money, but Rick and Squeaky Brakes have earned my trust and respect.
