I gave them $500 and I owed them $1000 more yesteday. I called them to make sure that my car was going to be an easy pick up after I paid them. When, I got to the place after leaving work early and I'm not getting paid for leaving early. My whole check went to them and after they took my money,they told me that I couldn't my car till monday. They had to to order a new transmission and that it wouldn't be coming till monday, even though I asked them early in the morning if my car was going to be ready. Then they charged me $35 to pay with my debit card, instead of them telling me to bring cash to avoid the charge fee. I better get my car on Monday.

I initially took my vehicle to the shop for a routine oil change. During the inspection, I was told…read morethat I urgently needed an engine gasket replacement. I explained that I could not afford the repair out of pocket but had a warranty and would contact the warranty company the next morning before proceeding. Before I had the opportunity to do so, the shop contacted me, told me the repair was covered, and informed me that they had already ordered the parts. I was like WHAT, okay! They told me they did this so I didn't have to wait for the parts to come in. I was then told that because the parts had been ordered, I could no longer use the rental car benefit through my warranty. I had not authorized the shop to order the parts, I didn't even provide them with any information. They used my VIN number to do this. After the repair, my vehicle began experiencing multiple problems, including fluid and oil leaks, a "Gearbox Fault Detected" warning, automatic start/stop issues, multiple warning lights, and a recurring check-engine light. I have returned to the shop six times, but only two visits are documented in their system. There is not even a record of my most recent visit, when I was told I needed a fuel pump/water pump replacement. I trusted this shop because it was listed as an authorized service provider on the dealership's website. Based on my experience, I will be reporting the shop to the Better Business Bureau, the dealership, my warranty company and a legal team. TRASH The photos were taken right after I picked my car up & reported to them immediately.

It was almost the end of the day and given the details I shared with them they gave me a rough estimate that was about 1/3 less than the dealership. Got it there right before they closed. Diagnosed in less than 10 minutes and got it done before noon the next day. Whaaat?! Also the final price was lower than what they estimated. AC works better than ever and it came with a lifetime warranty where the dealership said 1 year. I watched them handling everyone the same way. Giving them the time, proper inspection, and unbearable pricing without sacrificing on the quality of the parts. Best value in auto repair at a place I never would have stopped at had I not be recommended during this time. Danny and the whole crew there are superior to any auto repair I've ever experienced. I went to USA Auto for an oil change, knowing that I needed to either buy a new engine or get a new…read morevehicle. My vehicle has 249,000 miles on it and was spitting coolant, so they sealed the leaks, installed a new water pump, and seemingly got me back on the road until I decided to buy another engine or a new car. The manager, Debra, is highly knowledgeable, honest, and on top of her game! She found an engine with 23,000 miles on it, including the catalytic converter, at an excellent price! The mechanic, Derek, gave me a ride to Walgreens, and Debra gave me a taco and offered me water during lunch. The entire staff was professional, pleasant, and went above and beyond across the board! Derek also showed me that my recently installed oil pan was leaking because my main mechanic used silicone instead of a gasket. My main mechanic is knowledgeable, but it opened my eyes to how his prices are so low because he goes with the most economical option instead of the best one. My main mechanic gave me a solid price on a new engine, but USA Auto beat him by $ 600.00 and offered more value with additional parts! The next day, I returned to USA Auto Service to have a new radiator installed and found that the gasket had blown. As Derek, who is highly knowledgeable, explained, they sealed up the leaks like they were supposed to, and once they did that, the weakest part went ( the engine). I already had oil in the coolant reservoir and a mess under the hood, so I pushed it to the limit. I was able to drive my car home by pulling over in spurts before it overheated, and it took me forever! I've been to this USA Auto location 3 times before and had a pleasant experience, but the new staff and manager have raised the pleasantness bar even higher. I plan to get a new engine because I love my car and hate having a car note. I will make the permanent switch to USA Auto because my former mechanic, although cheaper, has clearly been cutting corners to keep prices low, and I have already found myself replacing parts that I supposedly had installed by my old mechanic. When I mentioned it to Derek, he said the thermostat he pulled out wasn't new, and I saw with my own eyes that my old mechanic used silicone instead of a gasket on my oil pan, which didn't properly seal it. Derek said he would use silicone for his personal car but never use silicone to seal an oil pan at a business. Located on the corner of Smoke Ranch and Decatur, they offer auto financing, a cool air conditioner, and a clean restroom, unlike your typical mechanic shop. This USA Auto location is easily the best I have been to, and I will make it my home location. I highly recommend this location!

I can't say that I agree with the tactics of trying to create fear to get my spend more than the car is worth in listing off repairs with calculating cost in your mind without pulling up prices on parts. My dad was a mechanic and there are better ways to approach trying to get someone service. If you're getting smog the place is cool, not sure about the rest but based on the comments I'm not sure about using this place.
