Service is great here and very honest. I really appreciated the hospitality here. A no frills, no thrills shop that can get everything you need done! I found this place on Groupon. Best search I've made in a while. I could have gone close to home near south Summerlin to get my brakes done but I love coming to the east side and supporting businesses. I was given a quote near home and my rotors were never even looked at! It was way overpriced as well aside from the service recommended being out of proportion to what I even needed. With a lot of these places you're just paying for the name. Places like LA Auto, I feel like I'm supporting real people and I'll continue to do so. Rating: I truly tried to give this shop a fair chance because George, the owner, has always seemed like a decent person. But his staff is on a completely different level -- rude, unprofessional, and careless, and the quality of the work matches their attitude. We brought in a 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS550 and paid $900 for a front passenger air strut and the rear air suspension compressor. By the next morning, the entire rear air suspension had collapsed. A certified mechanic at another shop confirmed that the compressor had been set to too much pressure, which caused both rear airbags to fail. Now we're paying another shop to fix the damage they caused. While I was there, I also overheard staff telling two different customers the same strange story about "someone pulling plugs loose from a previous mechanic." It felt rehearsed and didn't line up with the issues those customers were describing. When I called to speak about the damage to our car, the younger staff member refused to let me speak to George. He didn't lie about who he was -- he simply said it wasn't George, refused to put George on the phone, and told me he didn't care and that we could "file a claim with whoever we want." He then became extremely disrespectful and cursed at both me and my husband. Completely unacceptable. So, that's exactly what I'm doing. I have already:    *   Filed a fraud claim with my credit card company (Barclay)    *   Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB)    *   Filed with Nevada Consumer Affairs    *   Filed with the Nevada Attorney General's Office    *   Filed with the Nevada DMV Compliance Division Anyone else who has had problems here should do the same. No one should pay that much money and get their vehicle back in worse condition, and absolutely no customer should be treated the way we were. read more

I would not recommend this place they don't know what they're doing they have ruined my car after 6 weeks never got fixed one excuse after another this is the way they treat a 74-year-old man on social security who knows what they do to other people as far as I'm concerned they are unprofessional they are liars one excuse after another you're wasting your time your money and hopefully than not destroying your car while they're working on it read this thing I give it a -10 now I have to go through process of finding a lawyer taking them to small claims court and looking this up George is not the owner don't lie to you look it up it says owner is Laura Stowe good luck I hope this helps read more

This shop took advantage of my daughter by stealing from her at least $3000. Every time she took it they would say the was in great shape. But after a week or two a new problem would appear. Until I caught on to them and decided to take her car somewhere else's where they actually fixed the real problem and the car does not have any more problems. I have the worst luck with mechanics for the most part. I almost always get taken advantage of, but Jorge and his crew at LA Auto took amazing care of my Chevy Blazer when my thermostat and a couple other things went out! They were super professional and broke it down in a way I could understand! They were fast and efficient and were able to finish the work in 4 hours for a great price! Chapman Chevrolet Mesa, Arizona replaced the transmission in my truck. It still jumped into neutral. I was able to get it home to Las Vegas NV and let the LA Auto center diagnose the problem. It turned out to be the shift encorder Motor on the side of the transfer case didn't need a new transmission or the $6600 bill that Chapman Chevrolet charged me. read more
