Highly recommend Thomas for auto service, especially repairs he handles himself. He's working on my…read morecar as I write this, and I'll update once it's complete -- though based on his other reviews, I can't imagine it'll be anything but great. I first called him for quotes on my starter, struts, and brakes. His pricing came in well below the 3-4 other quotes I'd gotten. But the bigger thing was that he spent over an hour on the phone with me, across a few calls, just trying to figure out what was actually wrong. I'd assumed it was the starter. So did a buddy I call for car help. So I ordered three parts online -- and felt a small, misplaced sense of pride at managing that on my own at dinner with my family. Talking to Thomas, it became clear that unlike most mechanics or service writers who just book the job for someone else to do, he was genuinely trying to help, and was far and away the most knowledgeable and straightforward person I'd spoken to. When we scheduled the appointment, he asked if I was sure I'd ordered the right parts, since I'd told him I know nothing about cars. I sent him the invoice. Every single part was wrong, for different reasons -- and I'd only ordered one side instead of both. Embarrassing, but we caught it before anything shipped, and he walked me through the correct parts and explained why the price, quality, and value differed across the options. I then sent him a video with audio of the main issue, and he determined it definitely wasn't the starter. That let me return that part too. Most shops would have just installed what I asked for and let me find out later -- after all, I bought it and asked them to. My car has around 230,000 miles on it, and I turn down most repair suggestions. At this point everything can be replaced, but I'm not putting more into it than it's worth. Thomas mentioned a transmission drain and flush for $300 -- mentioned it once, never pushed -- and I did it purely because I'd come to trust his read over my own. I also had squeaky brakes and asked him to quote parts and labor, even though they'd been replaced a year ago. After looking at them, he said the brakes were fine and gave me three options: clean the pads to kill the noise, leave them alone, or just replace the pads. I went with new pads. That took $300 off my $1,100 bill -- and could have been $500 off if I'd waited on the pads. This is the longest review I've ever written. I'm in sales and have worked at a car dealership so I know how rare it is to find people in the industry who actually check every box from expertise, customer service, affordability, quality of service, AND reliability. Thomas checked every box, plus one I didn't know existed. If you're in Las Vegas or Henderson, this is the guy.

HuSker Auto is a shitty place; they are completely incompetent. They recommended extra work on my…read moretruck but never fixed the actual problem I brought it in for. Now the truck is in worse shape than when I dropped it off. I'm furious because they had done great work in the past--that's why I decided to take it there and trusted them blindly; I left it with them based on my previous good experiences. They charged me $1,976. It was a huge amount, but I didn't mind paying it because I was almost 100% sure the truck would be in perfect condition. Now the truck won't even start; the service is absolute garbage. I called in frustration to ask what was going on--explaining that my truck wouldn't start and I was stranded on the highway shoulder--and the moron in the office played the victim, saying, "If you're angry, I can be angry too." I will never recommend them again, because both the service and the work are total shit. Me cobraron 1.976 dólares. I'll be making a video for my Facebook and TikTok channels--which have millions of views--and confronting them in the coming days. You can find my TikTok page under the name Martyn Ramirez if you want to watch the video where I confront them.
