Important to keep my Runner in shape for road trips! Thanks Yota guys!
Amber N.

Brought in my 1999 Runner with some various issues that come with having an older vehicle. I've had this truck for 20 years and it's recently been important to me to find a shop that actually specializes in Toyotas and this place is IT. Andrew and his team are great. They actually dug in to figure out what the real problems were, and provided me with legit quality repairs, not just slapping a bandaid on a big issue like some places do. The prices are fair and the communication while my truck was in the shop was much appreciated. I hope to have this thing another 20 years and having a reliable, knowledgable and quality Toyota mechanic with Trusted Imports will help with that. Thanks guys!

Replaced the above 20 year radiator with a new OEM. Good job Ceasar!

One of the owner's employees named Ceasar replace a radiator job for me! Words cannot adequately express how satisfied I am. No wonder they have such an excellent reputation! First of all, they squeezed me in, both times. Thank you Ceasar! The radiator install was very professional. Then, Andrew's son, Nic, did a alternator and serpentine belt. After the install, I noticed it was blowing warm, cool, and cold air on the way home, so I took it back. Andrew explained, "The old Camry may need to relearn its idle position with the battery being disconnected after installing the alternator, which will make the the air-conditioning turn off at idle if the idle is too low, it will need to be driven for a little bit and it should relearn." On my way home, I felt only cold and cool air blowing. It wasn't blowing warm air any longer. It appears Andrew is right about need to "relearn." I have a new job I want him to do. I spent thousands on redoing my suspension, and only a year+ after having the suspension work done, I'm experiencing the same issue. On a concluding note, I'm very thankful for Trusted Imports. Not only did they take care of business, but they charged a fair price. You can most assuredly trust them.

Did a great job with my 100k tune up. Seemed honest and didn't try to upsell me on anything unnecessary. Will be back again for sure.

I used to go to High Road Automotive to Tom for my last Honda and my current Acura that is also attached to this shop... is it truly closed? Or does this shop also work on Acuras? Thank you!

We service Honda/Acura/Toyota/Lexus we use told work with Tom in the early 90's.

It seems like its dealer price now , and they charge you for the diagnostic fee even if you do the work with them...not cool. Probably still an honest shop, but pricey. update: Thanks for responding. I understand your explanation that diagnostic work involves skilled technician time and has value. My disappointment is really about the change in how MVR handled this compared with my experience as a customer for more than a decade. In the past, I did not encounter a policy of charging a separate diagnostic fee when I had the repair performed there. What bothered me most was less the dollar amount than the decision to rigidly enforce the charge with a longtime customer. Even if MVR believed the fee was technically appropriate, I think simply saying, "You've been with us for many years, there was clearly a misunderstanding, so we'll waive/refund it this time," would have created tremendous goodwill. Instead, the experience left me feeling that MVR has become considerably more expensive and transactional than the shop I had relied on for many years. Unfortunately, preserving the diagnostic fee ended up costing MVR both this repair and a longtime customer. That is why I left the review I did.

Ardi was very thorough about explaining everything that was needed done or things I can do later. I took my car in for oil change and just a few other things. I waited in their waiting room and it was comfortable. It took two hours as Ardi predicted. Services here are definitely less costly than taking it to the dealer. Very glad we found an honest mechanic.

I had installed the n2itive parts already when I brought it in. Even though they weren't busy, he still took great care and had the alignment done in under 30 minutes--about 45 minutes total including a test drive. The car now drives perfectly straight, with both camber and toe dialed in just right. Also I got paper work before and after alignment. It did not cost me a lot like the other shops that wanted close to $300. I paid $180 for the alignment!( thank you Yoshi ) The shop is very professional, and the service was fast and smooth. The mechanics were polite and easy to talk to. I also loved seeing all the JDM cars they had--R32s, R33s, and even an '86 and MR2. It felt like stepping back into the 1990s. I could honestly hang out there all day. Highly recommend this shop.
