I've been a Sport Clips customer for years, but this experience was bad enough that I won't be…read morereturning to this location. I brought my son in for a basic kids' haircut. He showed the stylist a reference photo of what he wanted, and the stylist responded by saying something along the lines of, "That's a $300 haircut. I'm a $4 stylist." That alone should have been the warning sign. The haircut turned out so poorly that we had to take him somewhere else afterward to get it fixed. My beard trim was also noticeably messed up. This wasn't a matter of being picky or expecting a high-end salon result--it was basic haircut quality and basic customer service. The bigger issue is what happened after. I contacted Sport Clips customer support, who said they forwarded the complaint to the independently owned franchise location. I waited roughly a month and heard nothing. I followed up again, and customer support again said they would forward it to the owner and ask them to contact me ASAP. Still nothing. So at this point, the issue is no longer just a bad haircut. It is a bad haircut, an unprofessional comment made to a kid, a beard trim that was messed up, and a franchise owner who apparently cannot be bothered to respond to a legitimate customer complaint after multiple attempts through corporate support. Mistakes happen. Bad haircuts happen. But ignoring a customer for weeks after the company itself says the owner will follow up is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location, especially for kids' cuts.
