If I knew I'd be committing to nearly an hour on a line for a return, I'd have done it via mail. I don't know if it's a staffing issue or if corporate needs to reevaluate how many registers there are but I will most certainly NEVER do this again. In addition, the selection of items is meager. I'd give zero stars if I could. For starters the staff consisted of maybe one or two approachable people. One staff member was not professional at all, from her piercings to her obnoxious laughter, she's a definitive reason to not return to this location. A staff member put a hole in the knit sweater I wanted to purchase (last of my size) trying to remove the security device. When inquiring about what could be done, the cashier said we don't do anything about these situations. So I can buy it destroyed or not at all. Oh well! No sweater for me, but no sale for you! One of my favorite locations if I'm shopping for my wife or myself. Big open space, clean, you can clearly see the items. One of the few locations where the men's section isn't just a random corner in the women's section. Now when shopping or just browsing for things for my kids!...SMH The kids section is an absolute wreck! Trying to find items in there becomes more of a headache then anything. Clothes are thrown all over the place, most items either aren't where they should be or they're buried under a bunch of items that were just thrown on top of it, you rarely find someone in the section and when you do it doesn't seem like they're at all interested in what you're asking them. Almost night and day compared to the men's/women's sections. With the exception of the kids department I highly recommend this Zara's location. read more

I visited Palisade location many times. Each time, I asked Jasmin, the fashion consultant & customer support, for tips and she showed me items to mix and match for my style. I almost always left the store with at least one item that everyone complimented it later. She's a keeper!! read more

Customer Service at this location is lacking. Rather than service the guests on the very long line, the presumptive manager would prefer to spend her time closing the one other register since they were "close" to closing. When I walked in there was still 45 minutes to go...after waiting 20 minutes...with only one person finishing at the register, I chose to leave. Do better! Maybe if you service your customers faster, you can have more time to close the registers...but don't tell us closing the register takes priority. Clearly your focus is not on sales or customer service. read more

1000 palisades center dr , west nyack , New York. Worst location ever. Can't even try the clothes on . I had to buy 3 pairs of the same jeans and try them on in the mall bathroom then returned the other 2 right after. The employees give no F's there and look at you crazy if u even ask them for anything. After choosing a bunch of items I was interested in purchasing, I asked for a fitting room in which I was informed you cannot try items on and our fitting rooms are closed. When asked the reasoning, an employee answered "that's Zara for you". Upon asking another employee the same exact question, they rudely asked me to reach out to corporate. By far worst location of Zara I have ever been too. Don't even know how such companies have operations running this sloppily with employees who do not care at all. How can you walk into a clothing store and not have the option to try something on? Really weird and unacceptable. If I could leave no stars I would. read more

This store closes at 7pm. I entered the store about 5:45 pm and browsed around for a half hour gathering up my clothes. I had about 6 shirts I wanted to try on and was likely going to purchase as I walked up to the fitting room at 6:15, she closed it as I was about to enter. I asked her why she was closing the fitting room and she said it was because they were closing soon. I said 45 minutes is not soon. They don't want to stay past closing putting away all the clothes and checking people out so they shut down the fitting room early. They probably stop people from getting on line too but I wouldn't know because I handed her the things I was going to try on and walked out. They lost out on sales. If they stay open until 7:00 pm, people should be able to purchase and try on until 7:00 pm. read more

I appreciate staff is reduced these days, but, I've been in twice this week. Both times were different times of day. Both times the a line the length of the store. Both times they refuse to open another register to clear these people.. I've seen people put down their choices and walk out. I don't blame them: Two registers open. Several people working the floor. Are you kidding?? Only back due to wrong sizes and therefore MUST return. Won't ever be back. These are basic managerial fixes and it's frustrating that they don't care enough to fix it. read more

I always find myself wanting to love Zara because of their selection of clothes -- fun, trendy, good place to shop for everything from casual wear to business wear to formal wear -- but the experience in stores often leaves a lot to be desired, and this location is no different. It's a large, bright store with many fitting rooms (and there was no wait for the fitting rooms), but that's about all that went well. Yes, I was there on a Saturday afternoon, and yes, there was a big sale going on, but that doesn't excuse all the clothes strewn on the floor and the PILES of clothes messily arranged at the entrance of the fitting rooms that hadn't yet been reshelved. I found a couple things I liked, but then had to wait over 15 minutes to check out. There was a sweater I was interested in but my size wasn't on the rack, but I felt like I didn't have the patience and energy to ask someone to help me. I may begrudgingly be back, but I really wish Zara would get its act together in terms of providing a more positive in store customer experience, both at this location and at others around the country. read more

This has to be the worst Zara's ever! It's unfortunate but if you live in the area you're better off going to garden state mall store. The lines are always insanely long, the fitting room is ALWAYS closed, which leads to having to make purchases and returns all the time. I have friends and my own fiancé you simply refuse to shop here anymore because it's such an inconvenience to not be able to to try on clothes. Expect to wait no less than 15 minutes. read more

Employees stole my purchase. I shopped at Zara Palisades Mall for Black Friday, they left out 4 items I purchased. I tried calling no one answered, and they never pick up the phone. . I called the corporate number & was given a case number. I was under the impression they would review cameras , NOPE. I was wrong. They counted their stock & determined it was bought. . YEA! by me and they stole it. Zara is a scam fast fashion cheap brand & they care about selling fast NOT building customer loyalty. read more

Worst customer service. Waited in line for 14 minutes because there was one cashier and another standing behind the cash wrap looking like she was opening a register but was not. Not once did the manager, cashier or any employee apologize for the wait. The Manager walked in and out of the back, not saying anything to the 11 customers waiting in line. A few Zara employees went above and beyond on my trip there today. I was looking for a particular style that was only offered in a extra large in store and a few kind associates offered to order them to the store so I can get the sale price and the right size. Never coming here again. I asked the employee who was working at the fitting rooms if I could go to look for these jeans in a different size and that I would be back. My sister was in the fitting room across from mine and came out to tell me that I should go back because he was cleaning out the room. When I came back, I caught him walking out of my fitting room, with a pile of clothes in his hands (including my belongings) and my wallet on the floor. Confused, I had to remind him this fitting room was mine and took my things from him. When I went to pick up my wallet (which was initially inside my bag) my cash and credit cards were gone, coins included. When I told the manager she didn't tell him to not go anywhere which allowed him to go to the back storage room and around the store. When the police finally came to investigate, of course he didn't have any of my cash or cards on him, he probably hid them somewhere in the back room. My sephora membership card was found in a drawer where he was standing to put clothes on the racks. Aren't employees supposed to be trusted? Police said there's not enough evidence since there are no cameras in the fitting room. Sickening and absolutely disgusting. read more
