The prices are also much lower outside here. On my last visit, I found a pair of pants I just loved. The price in $'s was $99. On the tag you could see the price in Euros and that was €49 (about $60). The pants had the white on white Zara label, which is their lowest quality. Nope. Not for $99. Buyers beware!!! I just want to give everyone a heads up! I made a purchase yesterday at ZARA in Dadeland. Yesterday was the last day of the tax exemption here in Florida. Today, I went back to exchange a pair of pants that I bought yesterday for another size, mind you same exact pants just another size. When I get to the register they do the exchange and tell me that I owe the taxes on the pants, I tell her she is wrong and to call the manager. Manager comes out, I won't bore you with the back and forth, but she gives me some story about how each pant has its own serial number and since I'm exchanging them, the state is charging me tax!! So before I blow up and make spectacle of myself over 4 dollars and change (the Tax)...I leave. I wanted the pants so I paid it. I call their corporate customer service. They tell me to go online and submit both receipts and that they will review it!! Waste of time! Also take note, the Manager at the store told the cashier. "We will not be overriding the tax on any exchanges that will be coming in." And turned around and left. I showed the following to the cashier, but it was a moot point! I know I should have just left the pants.. but wanted them. I just want any of you that may encounter this situation, especially at ZARA Dadeland you can be armed and maybe be a better fighter than I . I hope ZARA sees this and trains their employees on the correct procedures and Laws where they are operating their stores. This Zara got a facelift about a year ago and it's amazing! First thing first, you have to know what you're walking into- you're shopping at one of the most busiest malls in the country and you're shopping at a self service fast fashion store, don't expect to get a stylist to follow you around or anyone to offer you a room. You're there because the fashion and most importantly the price is right. That being said the store is beautiful. They went digital, the fitting rooms are self serve with a computer checking you in and out, they track all movement in their store in sure with some type of sensor in their garments. Someone behind me brought it up to an employee which did nothing, while other employees were passing by without saying a word. A min of 7 employees walked by the online pickup booth. My general rule is to to try everything on. Grab things you aren't sure will look cute because sizing here can be a bit tricky if you are a curvy gal. Then you can make your choices in the fitting room. For the quality, the clothes is a great price. Couldn't return a couple of shirts because they were past the 30 days (I was 5 days past the 30 day mark). When I asked to speak with the manager, she was very rude. She didn't want to provide a return or exchange even after admitting they make exceptions for customers past the 30 day return window all the time. She then started getting really loud so others would hear us speaking, and she started blaming me for holding up the line. Super unprofessional! Don't bother with the corporate number either. Just picked up my scarf from your store on Lincoln Road. Your customer had to ask the employee for assistance after standing in line over 5 minutes while she shuffle clothes in the fitting room area. After arriving at work, I opened the shipping box to find the scarf with a security device still attached. I had to make a 2nd trip to your Lincoln Road location only to be ignored by a no class employee. Still knocking on the doors to get someone's attention while waving the security device, a man came to the door to assist. He walked me back to the register to another low class female asking to see my receipt. I gave her the shipping box and advised I just picked this up and it should not have been shipped with a security device still attached. You need better hiring practices!! read more

My daughter ordered a jumpsuit and shirt for a trip on line. The security tag was left on the jumpsuit and the shirt was stained with red magic marker. I had to drive to the store and wait outside in line . I was informed the jump suit was on sale. However because of a policy they would not honor the sale price. I spoke with Adenis in customer service who read directly from a script and told me she was the manager and my only option was to drive to the store or mail it in. I can't believe after the inconvenience, not being able to wear the jumpsuit for our vacation they would not honor the sale price! Our time is valuable, gas money and parking. I took the new items all with their original tags to the store to return. The store did not want to accept the return because of a 30 day return policy. Who does a 30 day return policy during Christmas??? This means you have to order your Christmas gifts second week of December to return items after Christmas day when they get a chance to try it on. Zara is a hit or miss store for me. On this particular occasion, it was a total miss. I would rate this Zara three stars for this, but I simply cannot given the rudeness I received from some of the sales associates. Yes, I understand it was a Saturday and that it was packed, but that in no way, shape, or form means that you speak with an attitude to your clients. Specifically, I am speaking about two sales associates whose names escape me. The first was a children's fitting room attendant who didn't even say hello, didn't ask me if I needed help, and answered me in such a monotone way when she directed me to the women's fitting room as apparently the fitting rooms here are to be used for whatever they're advertising. Funnily enough, they're all labeled "Fitting Room" and not one says "Women's Fitting Room" or "Children's Fitting Room," but I digress. It simply rubbed me the wrong way. The second sales associate was a fitting room attendant in the women's fitting room. This woman was even more rude than the first. She told me she needed to count the articles even after I told her how many. Fine, it must be store policy, but what irked me was that she just grabbed the clothes from me forcefully, barely looked at me, and honestly speaking, she could've just said things in a nicer way rather than making me feel as if she thought I were a thief. I honestly think this Zara needs a crash course on manners. I am beyond disappointed. I have no idea if and/or when I will be back, but if I see this type of behavior again, I see myself taking my business elsewhere. read more
