I had decided to buy my friends beautiful jewelry from Christmas, but as one friend opened her present, the clasp of the necklace completely broke, thus i decided to go to the store and ask if I could switch it. I came to ask a simple yes or no answer and in return one of the girls replied in the rudest and belittling way I have ever been told in my life. Not only was I offended but was told if I even understood how much a necklace would hurt the store. I had said sorry more than 5 times and still asked if I understood. They had the most beautiful formal dresses, cocktail dresses, and casual dresses. They have both high end designers and the more affordable designers. I couldn't stop picking out dresses to try on. I saw the Mikael sequin dress online but wanted to try it on before purchasing so I called the store yesterday (Friday) to see if they had it. The girl I spoke to over the phone was so nice and so accommodating. She took down my information and told me the dress was available in my size and in both colors as advertised online and that they would hold it for me to try on in store. I asked her where the store was located and she indicated that it was off of Kendall Drive and SW 137th Ave, next to Dandy Bear. I asked her about the stores business hours and what would be the best time to pass by, and she told me they were open till 8 PM and that I should go by today (Saturday) because the dress wouldn't be ready till today (again, Saturday). I specifically asked about the best time because Lotus Couture is located right up the street from my house so I could have come to try it on YESTERDAY but she insisted it wouldn't be ready till TODAY. When I arrived to the store (literally less than 30 minutes ago - I just left) the girl at the counter told me they'd sold the dress yesterday and they didn't have any left! I am so upset about this complete disregard and lack of customer service. I would have bought the dress yesterday had the girl over the phone told me it was available, but she told me it wouldn't be because they had to pull it from storage and it wouldn't be available till today! I can't believe that I was stood up like this, what a TERRIBLE first impression. I had my heart set on trying on this dress and purchasing it for my trip to Vegas. Thanks for nothing Lotus Couture!

The owner is young, sweet and very helpful. She even gave me a discount for my birthday dress purchase. I am in complete aghhhh. Price point is PERFCTION and the quality of clothes is A+++. I had a deeply disappointing experience with Genavieve. I met with Genavieve in person to ensure that measurements were taken correctly and that there would be no misunderstandings in my expectations. Unfortunately, after multiple delays which she claimed was related to shipping delays from her manufacturer what I received at the fitting was far from what was promised -- the dress looked cheap-(dollar store rhinestones glued on a fluffy mess of uneven tulle), rushed, and bore little resemblance to what we had discussed. It was not wearable and so bad that she acknowledged it was not what I had ordered and I was assured it was a mistake and that it would be corrected in time. However, after multiple delays and broken promises, I was told -- just four days before the event -- that the dress could not be delivered at all. This left me completely without an outfit for the wedding. What's most frustrating is not just the poor quality, but the lack of accountability and professionalism. When I told her I would be traveling an hour with two little kids to come to her store and asked her if the dress was ready for the fitting she delayed multiple times then had the nerve to tell me yes when she knew it was not salvageable. She even told me it was beautiful but wouldn't send a picture when I requested multiple times. If I had been told earlier that the dress wouldn't be ready, I could have made other arrangements. Instead, I was strung along and left scrambling at the last minute. I would not recommend this service or doing business with any of her brands to anyone looking for reliability, quality, or basic professionalism. Proceed with caution.
