On November 23, 2025, took 14k gold chain in to have the barrel clasp replaced as the tongue-side was broken. The replaced clasp is 14k gold valued between $42.00 and $55.00. Requested that it be returned when the repair was made. Made two trips to pick up the clasp and chain. The chain is repaired but Zales is refusing to return the clasp blaming the repair facility. Keeping the gold clasp is fraudulent- it's 14k gold, has value, and it's mine. Still waiting (02/08/26) for call to pick up my clasp and chain. read more

Zero directions so we directed ourselves out of the store. I will say we did go on a Saturday so it was a little bit busier than normal but out of the five jewelry stores we went to this place did not make us feel welcome and did nothing to facilitate a check-in process or even make eye contact with us. There were multiple pieces that I wanted to look at and purchase but without associate to help us, we just left after about 20 minutes. When I say every other story we went to including kay, boutique shops, and even the pawn shop down the road provided a better guest experience! I've been here multiple times... not because I want to, because I had my necklace repaired here and they provide a guarantee. The most frustrating part is that every time I come, the wait is soooo long. They never have enough staff to keep customers moving and there's very little seating (and the seating is in the back of the store). I must say the associates are always courteous and knowledgeable. I took my wedding ring to the Zales Outlet - Cedar Hill, TX for a repair and during the process my wedding ring was lost in transit from the repair center back to the store. This happened on 1/30/25 and it is now 3/17/25 and the matter still has not been resolved. Zales Customer Care is trying to mess over me because their employee did not do her job properly when she completed the repair intake process. They are offering me a pre-owned ring, but will not provide a warranty on that ring. I have been married for 26 years. My husband purchased my ring back in 1998 and now it's gone. Zales will be made whole by their insurance company but I will be left with nothing. That just doesn't seem right to me. Beware. read more

I went to this store to have them look at my tennis bracelet because I wanted to take some of the diamonds out to put into my ring, However, the jeweler told me that my bracelet was platinum with fake stone; however, me knowing that my bracelet is real, I took it too Ascot Jewelers to confirm what I already knew. They were happy to take the stones out of my bracelet but told me the diamonds were too big to put in the ring. I have the option of making earrings or a necklace. If I could give a review of negative zero, I would. I purchased a mens diamond wedding band, had it sized and it is 2 days prior to my wedding and I am being told it's lost. This was a custom order. The only way I learned this was because I finally called the Corporate office. The Cedar Hill store employees and their customer service is horrible, under staffed and they don't pick up the phone. When I was able to get someone to pick up the phone, I was told the ring would be there, knowing it was lost. The store employee said don't worry, it's just a trick of the enemy. DO NOT BUY from signet! I placed my ring in for repair and when it came back after waiting for weeks the diamond was still missing and the soldering of my chain was horrible! I contacted corporate since the best turn around I could get was 7 more days! I was given the run around but the matter has been escalated to the district manager. I have two bands to buy, 2 new chains and I will not be buying it at this location. *The store manager never called me or the DM James. 7 days arrived and the ring wasn't there. * ring finally came back and the crown is crooked and the prongs were cheaply done. You are lied to and told you have great value in your investment but only half the value stays with the people you buy it from and signet jeweler now has Kay zales Jared etc. investment means to see possible growth and the moment you start wearing your jewelry and getting it repaired by zales the value goes in the gutter. My appraisal originally said $5,800 I was lucky to get $500 (my center stone was 1c) *contacting corporate got me a few returned phone calls and their solution was to give me $100 gift card I used them to add new screw backs on my solitaire earrings. The stem solder job was soooo horrible and they were so long I can't even sleep in them anymore. This all took a year about a year ago. I recently came here to buy an engagement ring for the love of my life. I had everything planned out on what I was going to do when I was to propose when the two ladies helped me they made me feel like they cared and even told me we became family when I told them the size that I needed they sold me the wrong size so I had to bring the ring back and get it resized a week later everything was shut down because of the COVID-19 which is understanding but I have not gotten a phone call one email after I spent the money that I did with this business! I could tell when I was buying the ring they were trying to just get that sale!! after the sale I have not been taken care of and one thing is for sure I will never spend another dime with Zales again.. WARNING: They might send your personal information to the wrong person and they DO NOT CARE. I received an email from this store on 6/21 regarding a repair order placed. The only problem is that I live in another state and have never owned any jewelry, much less done business with Zales anywhere. I emailed back three minutes later to let them know of the error. I received no reply to this email and instead received PICTURES of the jewelry being repaired ten minutes after my reply. I hoped they would see my email soon. Instead, I was notified of the pickup for this jewelry on 7/2. I shot an email to their customer service to let them know they still are sending confidential emails to the wrong recipient. I received another email on 7/8 to REMIND the intended recipient that their jewelry is ready for pickup. I have no idea if they've received any of my emails, so I sent another. This time the email was aggressive. After all, if this happened to me, I would be infuriated to learn that a company would show such little regard for its customers as to continuously email the wrong person, then ignore that person when they reach out to correct an error. Second time I came into this store and the second time I had a crappy experience. First time was about three years ago, I ordered my wife's wedding ring online and had it shipped to the store. Went to this Zales location as it is literally 10 mins away from my house (driving back roads) and had to provide my name for pick up at least 4 times. I just handed the lady my driver license to her and said since you keep asking for my name so here you go, it has the spelling and the billing address on there. She finally found my order after 20-30 mins of the run around and since it was already paid she just printed a receipt and sent me on my way. She did not offer anything after that and I mean nothing, no warranty, no other items to look at, hell not even a good day! Yesterday, I visited the NorthPark mall location which is about 30 miles away from where I live and about 10 from where I work and I purchased some diamond earrings for my wife for Christmas. After making the purchase (3-4 hrs. later) I decided I was not happy with them and wanted to go back and see what else I could get. So seeing how this Cedar Hill Zales is only 10 minutes away from my house and I was already off of work I went to this location. Only to be failed and frustrated to where I left pissed off. One lady came and asked me how she could, and I told her I JUST BOUGHT these earlier in the day and I am displeased with how they look, she stopped me there and said maybe they need to be cleaned and let us check the diamond clarity etc. So she handed them to the manager (I suppose) who was working with another client, there I waited about 20-30 minutes for her to wrap up. She calls me over and I repeat the story I told the lady earlier, and her response was "this is weird", which was repeated about another four times. I immediately was able to determine this store nor was manager going to be able to help me, so I asked do I need to go back to the other location because I don't want things to be "weird". She stated no and that they didn't even know they sold diamonds like this, I said I worked with Alonso from the location and he sold them to me. If you need to pull footage of me in the store, then let's do that. She said oh no, and walked away without telling me what the next steps are. So she picks of the phone and calls the other store (I assume) and I can clearly hear here stating to the other person on the phone "I have a customer who claims he purchased these earrings from your store, but there is no name. I don't see how there is no name and these were purchased". She went on for a couple of more minutes and stated I will verify him with his debit card. She then takes another 3-4 mins to discuss production numbers with her peer, and I quote her "we were down 4 today, 10 the day before, and 10 the day before that, I think this weekend we will be able to knock it out the park". I then began to tap on the glass to remind this manager I was there in the store (still), seeing how she said she was going to verify me by debit card, I already pulled my debit card out along with my license. She smirks and I then stated do I need to go to the other store and return these. She says no it's just that it is strange and by this time I was done hearing the words "weird" and "strange", I told her give me my stuff back and I will drive 30 miles north back to the other location. She went on a ramble on how she was going to help me, but that it was just a "strange" situation. I was done and I told the lady several things (did not cuss or raise my tone) how she was treating me like a thief and that I was not here to get my money back, but to swap out the earrings for another pair. As I am looking at this lady and telling her stuff, my memory serves me and guess what, this was the same lady from my first experience with this crappy zales. I reminded her that she has horrible reviews online and I can see why. I reminded her I am going back to the other location just to get a full refund, because this is horrible and I told her she has ruined both my purchase experience. So to sum all this up, avoid this store at all cost, not sure if the crappy service is because this is an "outlet" vs a real store, but these people are just ridiculous. I can see the apple does not fall far from the tree as I dealt with the manager and if she is like that I can imagine she doesn't have high expectations for her employees either. Regardless if you spend a one dollar or a million bucks be ready to just be served with no personality. Also, go in there with shorts store was hella hot! Thank you to the older lady with glasses, you ruined another gift experience for me! I went back earlier to the northpark location and was taken care of with no questions or odd looks as if I was trying to pull one over. I love Zales, however at this particular location the staff is very rude. It was ten minutes before I was even greeted by any of the staff in the store. When I was greeted it was as though they really were uninterested in helping me. They only reason I didn't walk out is because I needed my diamonds inspected before the end of the month. This location lacks customer service. I came here on Christmas Eve and again today. Both times they were disorganized in processing incoming customers, some are greeted while others go ignored. Moving past the poor customer service, the available inventory is also lacking. They only carry size 10 in new men's rings, sizing is not included in the purchase price. So when I returned to this location today, the price for sizing and/or warranty was significantly higher that the quoted price on December 23. Regardless, I proceeded with the warranty purchase, sizing included. Then I find out that this Christmas purchase will now be gone 14 days for sizing. However, for an additional $35 the sizing can be expedited and back in 8 days. Wow - what a rip off! I regret making the initial purchase at Zales and certainly at this location. read more

My Husband purchased my engagement and wedding rings separately at the Mansfield, Tx location (DO NOT go here!! They are SUPER RUDE!) Anyways, She saved me the hassle of having to come in 4X/year vs the typical 2X/year for the warranty by switching my protection plan to the same months! HUGE relief, however I would not have minded one bit coming in those extra two months/year because that is how sweet they ALL are and treat you with the utmost respect! My Fiancé bought my engagement ring from here and the ring was absolutely gorgeous! However, I didn't get to enjoy it for too long because after 6 weeks one of the diamonds fell out!! I was like seriously?? But accidents happen so no biggie.. So I thought. We brought it back for them to fix it and they said it would be 8 WEEKS before it would be ready! It's no fun to be newly engaged with no ring so after a ring less 8 weeks my fiancé calls and they say it still hasn't arrived and it should come the next day. Okay.. I waited 8 weeks I can wait ONE more day. Next day my fiancé called and once again, still hasn't arrived!!! I have been a fiancé with no ring to show off for 9 weeks now and I am beyond frustrated! Not only at the wait time for it to be fixed, but the fact that a diamond fell out after such a short time anyway!! My husband bought my upgraded 10 year wedding ring at this location. I fell in love with this ring at first sight. Every year I drop it off for a cleaning and tightening, without incident or worry. Well on 12/12/16 I took my ring in as always, to make a long story short I have not received my ring back yet, I was told three different dates when it would be ready and to top it all off I just found out(from customer service) what exactly was wrong. No one from this store was honest with me about the fact that during cleaning a diamond fell out and it could be as long as 8 weeks before I get my ring back. I even asked several times "is there something wrong with my ring" I was told no there were some loose diamonds they needed to be tighten and it takes a specific jeweler to work on my ring, because of the special diamond setting. It is material yes, but it is my material that my husband paid a pretty penny for, that my husband felt I deserved after 10 years of marriage. I love my ring and I am so hurt by the fact that I will probably start having problems with it now. I am so hurt by the whole principle of this matter, that I am about in tears every time I think about it. read more
