I came by to pick them up like they said the next day and they look like they've not been done and now the word is that they can't do them. I know when I take the same shirts at home spray starch on those areas and put an iron on it. The goes away and it looks like pressed shirt so they can't do them.

I had called several times and left messages but she didn't respond to me until hours later saying she was busy with other appointments. Completely unprofessional, so don't go to Tyla's. I then went to Elizabeth's Tailoring. She does alterations out of her home. She's a very nice woman and super easy to work with. She was also way more affordable than Tyla's. Elizabeth's Tailoring charged me $400 for my dress alterations to have it hemmed (6 layers of skirt and tulle); taking it in on top and redesigning the top a little bit to fit me better, which included removing lace florals and sewing them back on; adding a bustle; altering the back to cover a little more skin; and steaming the dress. Tyla quoted me at $1000 to start, so this was much better. I came to her kind of late (a month to spare) and she got it done timely and beautifully. I was very happy with everything. Plus, she is just so nice and easy to work with and makes you feel comfortable.

Then, she calls her husband (apparently also works there) and he proceeded to tell me that they are not responsible for any damages. At that time, the female employee found a small sign that was turned away from customers, that states the same. The husband continued to tell me that it was insulting to him that I pointed out my uniform was damaged. When I drop off an item that is not damaged, I do not expect to pick it up damaged. I understand things happen, but I would expect the company to fix my uniform.
