The sales person that we worked with to purchase our trees was great, but that is where our positive experience ended. We purchased two trees and the additional warranty. Everything was going fine until one of our trees began to die. Even the technician who came out as part of our warranty, didn't treat the tree because it was too far gone. I have called Moon Valley three separate times and left three separate messages each letting them know my problem and requesting a call back. I have not been called back. They are great about communicating with you when you're buying something, but clearly not when you have a problem with their product or service. Unfortunately, I've passed this off to my husband because for better or worse I think he might be able to get better results because he's a man and they might take him more seriously. In hindsight, and after talking to a few people, Moon Valley is incredibly expensive for the product and the service that you're getting and I wish I would've taken my business elsewhere.

They have a wide assortment of pots and succulents and their soil amendments section has everything you need. Maifanatum, perlite, akadama, pumice, orchid bark, and more. The prices are also phenomenal! I got an assortment of pots and an imported euphorbia francoisii with the leaf variation and caudex shape I was looking for for a great price. My son loves coming here to pick his vegetables plants and I always get succulents. We've gotten some citrus trees as well as other fruit trees from here! They have lots of variety of plants and trees. Customer service is always nice! And prices are comparable to home improvement stores that sell trees and plants. I love it here since it seems a bit more personal and there's a lot of variety! This is our go to nursery!

It was about $2.39 but the price for me is supposed to be $6.39... so it appeared to be a $4 markup. Ouch. But the employee also tells me the cheaper price is not scannable because it's from the manufacturer. Sigh... It's a super hot day. I'm glad they had a cooler with cold bottle water free to grab. That's very nice thing for the customer.

I had always glanced over this location, and on this day happened to be in the market for some soil. The lot was thriving, not too crowded. People were looking about and soon a staff member took the time to show me some of their soil options and potting mixes. I settled on the organic palm and cactus mix. It was not dry upon opening, which I'm glad it was not, so far it's proving to be a fairly good quality. There's still some leftover in the yard. I saw many plants there. They had some pink aloe vera, along with a wide selection of succulents, which was nice to see. I had my eye set on something a little bit different though, an elephant bush. I knew they had some because some of the arrangements included elephant bush. So I just had to ask!Well, to my surprise they were more than happy to give me a longer tour of the southern part of the nursery, where they had far more sizes, big and small. I got to see some gigantic ones that I never expected to encounter in larger pots. Thank you Vic! It goes without saying I was impressed. Speaking about Vic, I just wanna say, many of the staff members were welcoming and went above and beyond to give me what I wanted. I was really impressed with Vic's extensive knowledge on house plants and his ability to help me find the size of this wonderful plant. Where I feel that most sales people would push you to buy a particular one item, Vic offered me choices, which I appreciate 100%. It's safe to say that type of salesmanship demands respect, and I will probably be coming back when I'm ready. Outside of my own personal experience, I noticed they have a variety of pots and fertilizers for all your growing needs. Always nice to see an assortment of pots and accessories for the home garden folk. Furthermore, Vic recommended a fantastic product as an addition to my watering routine, which within days has brought tremendous results. The plants absolutely love it, it amazing to think that this trip offered the plant, the service, and now the reassurance that if ever needed, they will be there to help answering any questions. We briefly discussed what I was looking to do in my backyard, and I asked if someone could come out for a site visit to see the space and better understand the project. Anthony scheduled an appointment with me for Monday, August 10 at 11:00 AM. I texted him my address along with several inspiration photos beforehand. Unfortunately, 11:00 AM came and went with no sign of Anthony and no call or text letting me know he was running late or needed to reschedule. I reached out to him to ask if we were still on for that day and never received a response. I still haven't heard from him or anyone else from the company. I understand that schedules change and things come up, but completely missing a scheduled appointment and then not responding at all is disappointing and unprofessional. I'm giving one star because they were initially quick to respond to my inquiry, but unfortunately, the communication ended there.

About a year ago, I bought a beautiful Chinese lantern from them for $35, and I was so happy with it. So, I came back this year to find some flowers for my patio. Unfortunately, I didn't end up buying anything because I couldn't find the exact flowers I was looking for. That said, the nursery still has a great selection of plants. I especially loved their jasmine offerings. they looked incredibly healthy and vibrant. Even though jasmine wasn't what I needed this year, I really appreciated how nice they were.
