Every once in a while it's nice to venture out the office for lunch and since this place opened up last week below the office building, a convenient wrap was too tempting to ignore. Looking at it, you think 'ok another place doing wraps, hoorah...' But there is more to this than meets the eye. Wraps using Indian spices and ingredients is much more interesting than a typical prawn mayo. So I tried it out.
3.5 star food at low prices (for now, they're running a promotional offer). So maybe I should have rounded this up to 4 stars? Nah, service was painfully slow and disorganised. Nice choice though, I plumped for a coriander and mint marinated chicken (insert correct Indian food terminology here). Nice juicy chicken with interesting flavour, usual salad to bulk it out and a spicy muglai sauce drizzled over. Upon asking what was in this secret sauce, the server quizzically replied, 'it's actually a mixture of 3 sauces.' Helpful, in no way. Now I don't know what 3 sauces were on my wrap instead of not knowing one. Urgh.
All in all, glad I went out for lunch. Will I try this place again? Possibly, but mainly for convenience sake over anything else read more
