I was a little hesitant because I live all the way downtown. Well, my friends, it was well worth it! I was attending by Paul, on of the owners and told him that I was told by McDermott Motors (my other local BMW shop that I have been using for 3 years) that my brakes did not need servicing unlike I was told. McDermott also told me that I needed a brake fluid flush, which Paul said was not necessary. McDermott also quoted me over $500.00 for a cracked coolant reservoir, where as Paul was able to do it for just over $300.00. Superior Auto tells it like it is - they will not get you for unnecessary work. Forget McDermott Motors! Hello Superior Auto and hello Paul! If you didn't have all those tattoos and look so intimidating, I would have hugged you!

Turns out it was just the thermostat and he fixed it for me for quite a bit of money. My check engine light came back on when I was 3 hours north and my engine temperature was almost red lining. The owners only suggestion was that I tow it down to their shop, right... he refused to accept any fault. Luckily, a mechanic friend diagnosed that the engine was missing about 2 L of coolant and Jane Park likely didn't purge and refill the coolant reservoir when complete. Again, Jane Park refused to accept any fault. He told me to bring it back in so they could check everything out again. He charged me for a new coolant cap, wouldn't even throw that in as goodwill. Keep in mind I'm 8.5 months pregnant at this time and he couldn't even throw me a bone, considering I was stranded 3 hours away from home. Won't go back. Women beware, unless you enjoy being called Dear and being jerked around.

He made it easy for me (not a car guy) to understand what steps I needed to take next, didn't bullshit me, and had his guys swap my tires for me.
