He takes the time to show you the exercise from multiple angles, floats around the class offering helpful advice. My favorite part is if you ask him WHY the move is done in such and such of a way, he not only shows you why but he has the knowledge to explain why you should do it that way. His monthly seminars are fantastic (which include line-of-fire, 3rd party protection, knife fighting, stick fighting, ground survival and lots more). Not only does Tom teach Krav, but he also teaches Muay Thai, cardio kickboxing, ground survival and a Little Dragons class. I wish I could still afford to train...but you can bet your bottom dollar that the instant I can afford to go back I will be in class. You can't go wrong here folks. Take one class with Tom @ Innovative Martial Arts...just one...I guarantee you that you will be hooked.

Myself and my family have been students of Master Kwon's Tae Kwon Do school for years. I can't say enough of the life values you learn in each and every one of his classes, values that are taught as you go through your belt and sparring classes, values that you bring back in your daily life. Master Kwon has taught us to be humble, help and respect others, respect our country, be discipline and always do your best to achieve your goals. Tae Kwon Do is all about that, not just learning self defense. If you're looking for body and mind wellness, for you and your family, this is the place to do it. Master Kwon, we are so grateful for your kindness, your teachings and the values you have taught us over the years. God Bless!

Master Shawn convinced me that he would address such issues and help the students overcome it, however, nothing changed after I brought it up in meetings with Master Shawn. After attending for another few months, we decided to leave the program and had a meeting with Master Shawn, who promised that he would work out a partial refund. Half a year later, we're still waiting to hear from him, trying to reach him to receive any kind of refund to no avail. We haven't completed even half the program, we returned all the equipment, and had an impression that Master Shawn was the man of his word, who promised to partially refund the payment. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but when the business isn't following up on their promises, isn't responding to phone calls and isn't trying to help its customers, that business isn't deserving of a good review.
