If you love your car and want to drive it immediately instead of waiting for 3 years, DO NOT take it to "t Fever Racing"! I had my 90's Nissan 300zx transported to Fever Racing on 4/28/2020 for an engine swap. On top of the engine swap, I had a few small things here and there that I wanted to add to the car (only for them to be either missing or scratched up and thrown in the trunk to collect dust. Exhaust only test pipe, missing mid pipe with resonators, missing coolant reservoir tank, my two boost and oil pressure gauges and radio bezel etc.) instead he was swapping old junk parts into my car. I was promised a month and then the pandemic came and it slowed things down. The owner Doug kept making promises and promises it'd be done soon. Every time I'd call or text there was an excuse to why it wasn't finished. That's if he'd even answer my calls. Doug was always vacationing (sending me pics of his trips while my car got scratched up and left to rot). He also left my car outside in Florida weather with no T Tops so now my interior is all moldy and ruined. He sent my car to a body shop in June 2022, when it wasn't even CLOSE to being finished. And when I asked him to go check the progress, he said the shop was hours away (I found out much later it was less than 10 minutes from his shop) and he kept having it be pushed back to later time to be finished by him. Finally In March of 2023 I decided enough was enough and took my car back. Here are some pictures showing how the car arrived to how it stayed destroyed for years. I try to be a nice and fair person and the owner Doug took advantage of that. Don't let him take advantage of you and stay away from Z Fever. Doug is the owner of Z-Fever and is such a great guy. He is very professional and extremely talented, along with awesome communication skills. I took my vehicle to Z-Fever to have the following items installed. Brand new ceramic coated long tube headers (Doug Thorley),new 02 sensors, new motor mounts, and a complete dyno tune performed - "Uprev" (Performance Tuning Software). The price quoted stayed the same from our initial conversation and I felt was a very fair price. Before I complete this review I cannot leave out one of the greatest and nicest guys I have ever met and this guy is Doug's Lead tech. and his name is Shawn and I hope I didn't misspell your name Shawn. I walked in not knowing anyone and had a some questions. I first talked to one of the technicians, he was friendly and helpful telling me who I needed to talk to. I ended up talking to another guy who was busy working on a roadster and he happily answered my questions and I asked him what he did here.. he said I own this place. Turns out he did and he answered my questions and I didn't spend a dime! There are few places never mind people who take the time to talk and give advice without being paid but I have since had work done and they are detail oriented and did a great job! I love Fever racing and everyone who works there. Got a 300zx TT head redone by martin and he couldn't have been more polite and helpful. Prices are great as are the people and the owner helps out Grass roots drifters where he can. Gave me a free tune last year for winning a foot race against other grass roots drivers. fever is great and known for their RS Enthralpy tunes. Solid and reliable. They also do repair work and motor builds at a great price. 5/5 starts would recommend them to anyone. read more

These guys are scammers and add up cost from things that aren't broke without consulting the owner. This guy did electrical work that ended up getting fried anyways, along blowing up a couple of valves. STAY AWAY- LOOK AT THE SHOP ITS MESSY AND FILLED WITH JUNK SHIT! read more

I've taken my 300ZX there a couple of times now and was very impressed. The quality of the work done is very good. I only had one issue with the work done before and after a quick phone call it was quickly taken care of right where my car was parked. Doug is always friendly any time you speak with him. Both him and his employees take great car of the cars and showing you what needs worked on, what's good, what's bad, etc.. Much better than other places that just tell you or show you a sheet of paper saying this is what is needed. read more

Go to Z, for all your Nissan and Infiniti car improvements. These guys can install all kinds of new components to make your ride extremely efficient and faster if you'd like. Simple things like new headlights are quickly order an installed, like on my FX35. If you want a Speed Racer style engine these guys can help you with that to. Don't waste your time or money here. This "shop" is notoriously slow at actually completing projects. I brought my car here in June 2015 with a hydrolocked motor & decided to have the motor rebuilt with forged pistons/rods & have them install their version of the VSR single turbo kit. 5 months later, October 24th the car was returned as "completed", but the following day i had to bring it back because it was only running on 5cylinders. The transmission and engine were moving freely too, and would make the entire car shake. After another month the car was returned to me again and was running slightly better, but the car will not start unless it is cold and has been sitting overnight, the AC/Heat doesn't work, they cracked my windshield trying to troubleshoot the AC issue (offered to replace the windshield if needed, but encouraged to just contact my insurance company) and put scratches all over my car & luckily it is plastidipped and protected the paint - but they don't take any precaution to protect the cars paint when working in the engine bay. When Doug rebuilt my motor, he did not know the vq37 had hydraulic head lifters - and now I have failed head lifters too which need to be replaced. This was the first vq37 he built, but the motor has been around since 2008! (wish i knew that before letting him touch it). He offered to fix this but i had to keep the car from November 2015 until February 2016 because he couldn't get to it cause he was out of the country for a few weeks and had other builds he had to finish - and yet my $20k project didn't get any priority AND it was paid in full as of October! After bringing the car back to him on February 9th, it sat there for 5 weeks until March 16th and was completely untouched !! Actually i shouldn't say untouched, the car bottomed out when they took it out of the shop to park it outside and it snapped one of the clamps connecting my downpipe to the midsection of my exhaust. I didn't realize it until i got home and was able to look, cause the car was extremely loud driving home... the exhaust was dumping to the atmosphere right next to the transmission! the midpipe and axleback were just hanging freely & luckily didnt catch any imperfections in the road!! I took possession of the car and will have it completed by a real professional which unfortunately will cost a another couple thousand dollars to open up the heads, fix the a/c issue, replace the windshield, and have it tuned once everything is done. god knows what other shotty work just hasn't caused issues yet. While the mechanics here are good guys with good intentions, Doug is a shady business owner with no understanding of timeliness. There are cars in sitting this shop that have been there for years, unfinished. STAY AWAY !! read more

Some of the best tuners in the state! These guys took my broken down old car and made it hum. They can find hard-to-get parts and the tuners are geniuses! Gave me 40 horsepower with a few simple upgrades. When the bill came I was pleasantly surprsied. They have about a dozen lifts and 6 or 7 first-rate mechanics on duty. There were $100,000+ cars in there sitting beside $3000 daily drivers. They can work on anything, but the Nissans are their specialty. Check it out! read more

I brought my car to these people and was originally told since it was a big job and there were about 4-5 cars that were there already that they would need to finish them first and would be able to start working on my car. well every week mon-thurs i could not get a hold of the owner, Doug, who according to him was the only one who could work on my car because NO ONE ELSE knew how to work on my 300ZX!! Finally every friday afternoon i would get him on the phone (not untill 5pm or later) and every friday there was ANOTHER EXCUSE on why they hadnt touched it ALL WEEK!! Everything from other cars came in they decided to do first because they were simpler jobs to cleaning the parking lot! Unbelievable!! They reassured me every friday that monday firt thing they would be starting. Every week for 3 MONTHS went on like this. I went in in person to see what was going on. They hadn't even touched my car yet and gave me ANOTHER "Next Week" story. Well that came and went. I had to get my husband whom is stationed in Korea in the army at the moment to call this man. And I quote "This apparently is becoming i problem i told your wife i would call her. You can just tow it out of here whenever you'd like. Believe me we aren't loosing any money off of this" AND HUNG UP ON HIM!! What they forgot to mention is that a tire had become completely destroyed while there and from sitting like that the rim AND axle are destroyed. They were not when i left it there 3 months back. Oh and my car is still horribly broken, and in even worse condition than when it was left with them. I was always spoken to like an idiot. They continually lied to me. This was the worst repair shop experience i have ever had. If you are considering this place, please don't go! I wouldn't wish what they put me through on my worst enemy. read more
