They are very honest and do not work on commissions, so I can trust what they tell me is needed. One thing that brought me to Murray Motive in the beginning was the fact that the company supported missionaries in Honduras and other places by providing service and auto supplies for missionary cars. The alternator was bad and the serpentine belt needed to be replaced. They took care of it all and it was great service and a very reasonable price. A couple weeks later I needed some brake work done, oil change and tire rotation and there was a noise when I would accelerate. I made an appointment to drop it off at 9 am and at 1245 they called to let me know it was done. They replaced all rotors and pads, adjusted the parking brake, oil change and tire rotation and replaced the serpentine belt since it had cracks in it. I guess at 293,000 miles it was time to change the belt on the Camry! . Justin is a great guy and offers quality service and is very friendly and professional! At 11:30 they called me , and said they found a coolant leak, but nothing else. They left it up on the lift for me to see, when I got there , they showed me where the coolant was coming from, and then we saw a hose that looked like it was leaking from the transmission, which had nothing to do with what they had done. I asked if they could change the 2 hoses from the transmission to the cooler, and the owner said sure and have them done by the end of the day. When I got a call to pick up the car, I went to pay, the owner said no charge.!!!! They not only didn't charge me the 2 hoses that were leaking, but also kept my 1934 Hotrod in the shop, because it was raining outside. So I went to purchase a gallon of antifreeze l, installed it and went for a test drive. Would you believe the slippage stopped. Ran vehicle for additional 15 days and still no slippage. It appears that was all that was needed to fix problem. Glad I did not commit to having them replace with rebuilt trans. I'm am very sure they knew this and yet they tried to get me to agree and scare me to replace trans!
