I also had upper extractions and implant work completed. The original plan was for a permanent screw-in lower arch restoration. Later, I was told part of the upper treatment plan would change, and I was issued a $3,050 refund check for implants that would no longer be placed. At that time, I was specifically told I would NOT have any additional out-of-pocket expenses and that my permanent lower teeth would still be completed. I have received the upper permanent partial, but I am STILL wearing a removable lower denture instead of the permanent fixed prosthesis I paid for and was promised. Communication throughout this process has been frustrating, inconsistent, and extremely stressful. I have had to repeatedly follow up for answers and clarity regarding completion of treatment. After paying this amount of money up front, I expected transparency, professionalism, and completion of the agreed treatment plan without additional financial demands. I am simply asking for the permanent lower restoration to be completed as originally promised and agreed upon.

After I informed that office that I had contracted covid at their office the doctor and the employees became very disrespectful. When I received my dentures two teeth on the right side were laying sideways. The gumline in the front was so thick it made my upper lip stick out really far. Because of that there was no suction to keep the teeth in. At the back of the dentures it went back so far in my mouth it felt like I was choking. The roof part of the dentures was so thick there was no room in my mouth for my tongue, let alone trying to eat food. At this point I no longer have a desire to have Affordable Dentures to do mine. Every time I visit this office its gets more and more disrespectful. On one visit the dentist came back into the room after seeing another patient, and snapped the wrist part of his gloves like he had replaced them, but there are no gloves in the room with the other patient. The worst part was when he was starting to get wax impressions again, he put that goop all over my face. On my last visit I was told after he put the goop all over my face that I could leave, only to be called an hour later that he needed to do the goop process again. I never want to see that nasty, disrespectful Dr. Bell again. On my first visit I was promised my dentures would be ready in three days. It is eight weeks later, and I still don't have any dentures. Our part was $355 and the insurance covered the rest. Left part of one of the teeth inside my mouth and then sent us an addtional invoice for almost another $200. (Which we refused to pay). Now they have sent the bill to a third-party collections company. Funny thing is I never received an estimate for the implants which was the reason of going to Mckinney Dentist in the first place. Strongly advise to STAY away! Don't write many negative reviews unless they deserve it.
