All the newer furniture the keep in the front and the more vintage, well loved furniture is more toward the back. Their display of art is done professionally as well. I have swam in the Bryan pool when I could not the the lines on the bottom and when I would witness a cloud dead skin churned up from the bottom of the pool. Even after showering, I would spend much of the day with an itchy back after having swam in the Bryan pool. The other issue that troubles me is the attitude of the Aquatics Staff. They are seldom supportive and they often find minor issues to complain about when there are swimmers who clearly should receive more of their attention. On one occasion I observed an autistic/homeless man who found it very relaxing to submerge himself in the hot tube. The lifeguards were so troubled by his behavior that four staff members finally physically removed him from the pool and arranged to drop him from Y membership. This could have been handled with a lot more compassion and concern.

The other locations with wer areas a quick distances from here. The stadf and environment are super pleasant. The lockers in the changing areas are metal and ample and mostly in good operating condition. I absolutely love that they padded running / walking track circle around the open space equipment workout area. Complimentary coffee provided during morning hours with goood sufficiently strong flavor that is perfect to my preferences. Magazines and lounging areas are super appreciated. Sufficient but not over abundant TV''s to see sports / etc. Showers operating sufficiently in locker rooms. Multiple yoga /! Pilates class spaces at least 4. Conference room available for... Wrapping up I feel happy and energized ane centered when come to this location. I strongly recommend giving this and all YMCA WS locations a try. And if haven't changed a lot of Medicaid Advantage plans offer SILVER SNEAKERS that covers most if not all of the costs of typical gym memberships. Those of us who have ever known or been affected by the homeless know that they live a hard life and that there is an invisible barrier between the homeless and the rest of society. That barrier is hard to breach because so many of the things that we take for granted or not available to those on the street. We want these folks to get a job and be self-sufficient, but in order to get a job we have to have an address and contact information and the ability to receive mail as well as legal documentation such as an ID and Social Security information. City with dwellings is a place that tries to bridge that gap. There are a lot of food kitchens and shelters but those do not always "teach a man how to fish." It always humbles me when people give and work for others so I signed up to volunteer on one of my days off during the holiday. Every time I volunteer I am surprised at how rewarding it is. CWD helps the community and volunteering is easy and painless so I recommend that everyone do it if possible.
