I love Reconsidered Goods!! If you're an artist, like to craft DIY projects, or just love to look around secondhand items for fun, then this is the perfect place for you. Stated on their website, their mission is to "promote environmental awareness, community engagement, and creative expression through reuse, education, and the arts." There are tons of things you can find here, like... - music records - scraps for scrapbooking or making collages - office supplies - leather fabric - home decor - accessories (jewelry, wallets, scarves) - photography supplies - old photographs and filmstrips ...and much, much more! Personally, I love to browse around their jewelry section since it's such a good value. I bought like 5 earrings from them! I love making collages and I love browsing around any cool scraps that I could find. They have a huge selection! Have any materials/items you no longer need but don't want to throw them away? Donate your goods to them! Just make sure and see what they accept and what they don't accept on their website. Be on the lookout for their future events, too!

Did you know that you can find anything you need here for art projects, school supplies, antiques?? I can spend hours wandering around this store. You can also follow their page for events throughout the year. If you have never been to this store- run!! Go now. You will save so much money in the future. You will leave inspired to make something. Don't forget- it's a great place to donate things you may consider unusable!

They could tone the prices down a bit , it is just resold stuff that was donated . But nonetheless a fun place to explore.

Reconsidered Goods is genius and fulfills such a great need in our community!! Recycled, upcyled, extra, used, reused, unwanted items all donated and housed in one large warehouse of an area. All merchandise is donated as they are a 529. The merchandise donation drop off area is Off to the side of the building. There is plenty of parking. Most employees are volunteers. This place is Heaven for art teachers, crafters and artists. In this day and age of our disposal society and overflowing garbage dumps polluted oceans and beaches, Reconsidered Goods offers this merchandise to the public at pennies on the dollar. As they say, "One man's garbage is another man's treasure!" Piles off fabric, scanes of yarn, office supplies, kitchen items, crafting supplies, artificial flowers, furniture an so much more. The merchandise is pleasantly displayed and organized throughout the store. My friend bought colored glass scraps and made a beautiful stained glass panel. I love stones and gems and found a beautiful mica specimen. You can spend hours browsing this shop going down memory lane and/or finding items you didn't know you needed or wanted!! It's a unique experience!!

What started as a spark idea POP UP in downtown Greensboro, has helped so many and kept SO MUCH out of landfills! The things people TOSS can have new life! I can look through the vintage postcards for hours! I don't purchase frames anymore, they have Hundreds-heck it's my tribe! Heard new BIGGER LOCATION on 4118 Spring Garden street opening in October. After searching online, I found Jerry's Art Supply Wholesale Club in Greensboro--about an hour and 20 minutes away--and I couldn't be more grateful that I made the trip. From the moment I walked in, I was met with the most genuine and welcoming customer service from Erica and Patricia, who turned what could have been a routine shopping trip into an inspiring and unforgettable experience. Patricia was incredibly kind and attentive while helping me find supplies, and when I shared that I was building an art portfolio for my SCAD application, her encouragement was beyond anything I expected. Normally, I'm not comfortable showing my work to others, but there was something so warm and authentic about Patricia's spirit that I took a leap and shared a few of my completed pieces. Her reaction--her eyes lighting up as she pointed out specific details she loved--made me pause and truly see my own work in a new way. As my own worst critic, this was a moment I'll never forget. I may or may not have given her a surprise hug in my excitement, but she was just that awesome! Then there's Erica--an absolute gem! Her bright, sparkling eyes when talking about art techniques and supplies showed just how passionate she is, not just as an artist but as someone who truly loves her job. Even though she was busy helping other customers, she never made me feel like an inconvenience. She took her time, answered all my questions, and we even geeked out over the dream of owning a set of luxurious Caran D'Ache colored pencils one day! Her patience, knowledge, and enthusiasm made my shopping experience an absolute delight. Coming to Jerry's felt like fate--like the universe placed me there at just the right time to receive the encouragement I needed from Patricia and Erica. Whoever owns this incredible store, please know that you have two of the kindest, most passionate souls representing your business. They made my entire month, and I will absolutely be back! If you're an artist--whether a beginner or a pro--do yourself a favor and visit Jerry's Art Supply Wholesale Club. You won't regret it!

Nothing felt overwhelmingly overpriced, everything was fair ESPECIALLY if you get the $25 annual membership. My only gripe is that there could be a good selection of clay + sculpting materials, but this store focuses heavier on painting/2D traditional arts, which allows for a spectacular selection in those areas. Employees were kind, welcoming, and helpful. Can't recommend this place enough, I will be back!

The store is huge and literally have any and everything you need for you home, craft items, furniture and out door area. I truly got lost and really enjoy my time getting lost. Nothing like air pods on and just being in your own zone. I did find some items, two metal leaf pieces for my office wall and a spoon holder for the kitchen. Prices is very reasonable and always some type of sale also. Parking is plenty, you will not have any issues since it's in a huge shopping center area. The store was super organized and clean. I really appreciate that, makes it so easy to find items or themes your looking for! This is literally the spot for redoing any room in your home!

Hobby Lobby is hit or miss for me. They offer a massive variety of home decor, lots of variety and…read moreseasonal decor for every holiday (except Halloween). They also offer lots of goods for any hobby, sewing, painting, jewelry making, model making, scrapbooking, and just about anything else you can think of. My main complaint is the quality of some of their goods, many things like picture frames have gone down hill in quality steadily over the years, I'm sure as they attempt to get lower and lower costs, but all they're doing is passing g the lower quality on to their customers. On this visit, we bought a picture frame, got home opened it up, and it was too flimsy to even hold what we bought it for. Another annoying detail is their weekly sales. It seems everything in the store is generally on sale for 40-50% off every other week. So if you go to buy something and it's not on sale, it probably will be in a few days. They are clearly making a profit even when things are on sale, I wish they would just offer the sale pricing all the time. Stop playing the annoying game One last complaint, bringing out Christmas decor for sale in August is simply too much. All that being said, you can certainly get some decent deals on decorations and decor, just beware of quality

So when I am in a new area of a town, I google "art supplies" and pray for some relief from the tyranny of plastic and cake decorating, scrapbook paper and seasonal driftwood. Inside you will find traditional and some on trend art supplies packed inside the small space like a european counterpart. If you are an artist or craftsperson, I don't believe you will be able to leave without something. p.s. they have some of the coolest japanese brush tip pens.

I have used them twice now for private classes/team building projects and both time they were phenomenal. For far less money than what other chain art-creation-team-building-events asked, Art Post created a custom activity for our group and created a laid-back atmosphere that encouraged creativity but also socializing. I also observed a class with younger children and the teacher was patient and also encouraging of creativity with the kids. Overall, I was very impressed with their community outreach and artistic philosophy. They also host some really great outdoor markets on the weekend where you can find lots of great local art and music!
