This vendor was used by our home warranty company to come and assess and fix our wall oven unit. It is now going on 4 weeks without the use of our oven, Not only are they unresponsive to phone calls, they are unreliable. They do not return phone calls nor confirm appointments. Save yourself the aggravation and go with another company. It is really sad how they treat customers knowing they are at their mercy to have something fixed. read more

I don't know where to start, horrible!!!! Unprofessional, unorganized rude customer support. 5 weeks to get 1 part for a dishwasher. 1st attempt the whatever incompetent worker was opened it said it needs this, did no checks and then when confronted said to my 80 year old mother I've been doing this for 10 years don't question me . 2nd time around after an attempt at speaking to a supervisor got a great feedback to have another technician show up and say he was afraid the microwave gonna fall on him and it was no where near him. I found Yvey's Services a few years ago. I think they were originally recommended through my dishwasher warranty but after that I hired him directly. Yvey did a great job and I have since had him: reinstall my dishwasher after a kitchen renovation, fix my microwave, fix my dryer in my old house, and fix my dryer in my new house. He's responsive, on time, extremely nice, reasonably priced, and everything has worked after he's fixed it! read more

I have never been motivated to write a negative review of a company before. We were assigned to Yvey's for a dishwasher repair by our home warranty company about a month ago. We know that you don't get the top repair companies with home warranties, and I build that knowledge into this review ( I had moderate expectations.) Day one of dishwasher repair: technician told us our dishwasher arm was not moving because of bad water pressure and left (with our service fee.) Dishwasher continued to not work, and we called to let them know. They told us a new part had been ordered for the broken arm...What???? A week goes by and no news. I start calling them daily and one day the part has come in, and a service technician will come out next day (no window.) We wait close to 8 hours at home only to have him show up, and call from his car to say he has the wrong part. A new part is ordered, a week goes by, I have to micro manage an appointment. This time I am told, the part is in, he is on the way and will be to your home between now and 30 minutes from now. I had a DR appointment, waited at home for 2 hours and then had to leave (he did not show up.) They scheduled him back today and promised he'd be there before 3:00. At 3:00 we learned that he came to our home, saw that we were having some work done to the exterior, didn't come to the door, and left. We called, they won't get him to come back today, so guess what??? maybe he will be here tomorrow. No promises on time. Good luck to anyone using this company. read more

"BEWARE - READ THIS BEFORE CALLING". We have had this company to our house four (4) times if not more. Yesterday was the last day and they had to replace a wire board on our refrigerator to "get our ice maker to work". Instead of fixing the problem the made it worse. Our refrigerator and freezer are now not holding temp. Our freezer temp should be at 0 however, it is climbing every few minutes and as of this morning it is at 27 degrees and our refrigerator which should be at 37 or lower is reading 52 degrees. We had to go out last night and buy a chest freezer and this morning are buying bags of ice to put our refrigerated food in. We were sent this company through AHS (American Home Shield) we have tried and contacting both companies to no avail. Please move on and do not call this company. All the good reviews they received must be from owners or employees because they are incompetent. Update: We finally got AHS to reimburse us for a new refrigerator that this company deliberately broke however, we are still out $1,000 because AHS would only give us a similar size, not the same make and model. I will be pursuing a lawsuit against Yvey's. Please do not allow AHS to send this company to your home and/or call them for service. They are crooks. read more

I hadn't had any problems- they are the service group for Total Home Protect who I have also reviewed and given one star Yveys- called me - we set up an appointment=- they were on time - very professional- advised of problem and made report to THP That Total PRotectg ignored their recommendations is another story- but no issues with Yveys read more

Had to use this company as they were only provider for warranty service prior apt owner purchased. Our stove needed a new control panel and first visit was to just read code off stove & collect deductible. They then disappeared for over 2 weeks and the repair wasn't correct (needed another part) and waited another 2 + weeks. So we didn't have stove for 5 weeks. And what was even worse dealing with them was fact that I called almost daily after failed first repair for status etc and never received a return phone call. Finally today received phone call after I had involved better business bureau etc and operator was rude and defensive. Highly unprofessional. Avoid !!! read more
