If service is not an issue for you, the store carries a number of harder to find health food items but the prices are quite high for some of them. You can find many of the same products at Krieger's, Whole Foods or Trader Joe's for less. Often items on the shelf are out of date. They sell a good selection of bulk spices and staple items. The produce is from local farms and they have some nice selections depending on time of year.

She showed us around the store and taught us about the different regions of olive oil, how to taste it, and gave us multiple samples.
