Great restaurant to order and pick-up food. It tastes great and always made to order.

I'm crazy passionate about supporting private businesses in my little town. So much so that I sometimes visit businesses that were not my favorite in the past just to see if they've changed. It's been over five years since I reviewed these folks and yup, they have changed, for the better! Atmosphere- None! That's right none and you can thank the pandemic for that! The small dining room is shut down and the walk-up counter is almost completely enclosed in plywood which I sincerely hope is temporary. See my pictures. I did notice that everything is spotless. Food- I wanted to compare apples to apples so I ordered my go-to stuff that I get at my 1st choice joint. So, a small pork rice, fried dumplings, and Mongolian Beef. It cost within a buck of my other place so who cares. It was ready quickly and very nicely packaged. The fried rice was just fine and as far as I could tell, virtually the same as my other place. Much to my surprise, the dumplings were better! The count was the same but there was more and tastier filling! Another surprise was the Mongolian Beef as it was also better! Although you can't see it in my picture, it had bunches of those baby corns that I dearly love. It also had chopped cabbage which was unexpected but tasty! So, One item was the same and two were better! I may need to change my allegiance! read more

Been disappointed at every Chinese Restaurant in Sebring, the first place I have ever lived that didn't have Chinese food. Don't say Cang Tong, don't say Yums in South Sebring. The Thai Restaurant is the closest to Chinese in Sebring, but is closer to Thai food. A friend convinced me to try Yums in Avon Park, near Ollies. Well when it comes to taste, texture and flavor, it is good. I ordered Pork Fried Rice and Spicy Beef. Both tasted good. Yes, as others have said, the fried rice is yellow. But it has roast pork and veggies in it and tastes good. Unlike other places in Sebring. The service was good and fast. We took out. The portion size was very large. It's not the best, but within a half hour it is by far the best. While they have tables, not necessarily atmosphere. read more

Excellent food, super friendly and quick service. Did I mention the food was really, really good? I love this place! I've tried the Pepper Steak, General Tso's Chicken and Sweet & Sour chicken. The Spring Roll was very good. I'm glad I stumbled onto this place, good restaurants are hard to find in this area. I live 10 minutes away so I always do take-out. read more

I ordered Chicken Egg Foo Young, and didn't detect any chicken in it. It had a taste of pork grease in the gravy, which I found distasteful, as I don't like pig products. I had an upset stomach all night, so don't trust this place. (The South Sebring Yum's never Disappoints!) read more

When I first saw this place I was like looks sketchy. I was pretty hungry and risked it without checking yelp first. It's not bad food. It was ok probably wouldn't go out of my way next time I'm in highlands to go here though. read more

This is the worst place I've been in decades. I got some chicken fried rice to take home and it was a big mistake. First of all it was 99.9% bad rice. Just a scrap, or two, of something that resembled chicken. No onion or green onion, which is customary with fried rice. Absolutely no egg. Almost inedible. It seemed like fake rice. I didn't know it was possible for Chinese to make horrible rice. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Food is great. Always get it and it never disappoints. I get it all the time and my family always asks for it. Also, their dumplings are amazing. Would also recommend the sweet and sour soup. Service is always friendly and nice. I haven't had problems with missing or messed up orders either. read more

Beware when you use your card here. They like to skim a couple of dollars on the tip line. Even though I didn't leave a tip for take out. My order was $15, but when I checked my bank statement, it showed that I was charged $18. Yeah it's only three dollars BUT it's about the principle. read more

Best way I can put this- I am from NEPA and despite the weather, they have always had good Chinese up there. It's one thing I had trouble finding down here. I've gone from buffet to take out all around and Yums is the closest around. It's made to order and I don't mind the wait. Not always ten minutes but it's always been good. This place has gone downhill so much. They cannot even get a customers order correct and when you get there its already bagged so no way to tell until you get home and unpack it. Half of our order was wrong and when I arrived to pick it up there was a customer and her kids talking and playing at the counter so everyone was distracted. So unprofessional and messy. Will not be back. Such a shame as we have been coming here since 2004!!! read more

This is a favorite spot for my wife and I. We are addicted to the food and have to eat here at least once a week. The sesame chicken with fried rice is our favorite! The food is always great and the restaurant clean and inviting. We always get our food fast and with no issues. My only real issue is that the food is a bit expensive, but the food and service are good enough that I am OK with it. read more

I have received countless phone calls for Yums...my phone number is one digit off theirs. I recommend that you avoid calling Yums by phone!

People are always telling me how good Yums food is so I finally tried it. Not the best I ever had. But it was ok. Rice was good but the chicken was a little on the spicy side for me. Phone service is terrible!! Every time I have called the girl that answers is always rude. read more
