Then when someone finally came to the door they just said sit anyway not even directing us to our table. When we got to the table for two there was only one menu on the table so I had to grab another one from the table next to us. So when I was looking at the menu I touched something sticky and wet so I looked and saw ice cream all over the menu. I thought it was so unhygienic and I decided that I didn't want to eat here no more as the service was terrible and the hygiene was not up to my standards so I left the restaurant. I have pictures to back up my review, I would like Kaspa's to fix their service and hygiene because I actually quite enjoy their food even though sometimes the waffle can taste a bit raw.

Brunch dish (Native Mushrooms) was not bad but small, expensive and nothing to write home about. I'd only come back again for the chai latte (which I have btw!)

Then I began a search of London. Could I procure Key limes and make the pie myself? That idea quickly fell flat and that's where Hummingbird Bakery appeared. Via their website I was able to order and pay for the pie and pick it up at this, their new Angel location. The process was easy and the people working there were as sweet as their baked goods. Only problem was the pie. Nice as it was, every person who'd had proper Key lime pie in the past had the same reaction after tucking in: it lacked the punchy zest -- the mouth puckering tanginess -- they always associate with this dessert.

I didn't make a reservation, but was lucky to get seated as it was pretty busy. This is a cute pop-up with yummy baked goods. The afternoon tea is predominately baked goods. It had too many sweets. The tea sandwiches were not traditional tea sandwiches. The cake (I picked carrot cake) was delicious but much too rich and sweet after accompanying the rest of the tea tray. I love the ambiance and decor inside. Lots of plants and colors and art.

Kinda on the dry side so hoping the regular versions are much better. Wished there was more strawberry flavor in the strawberries and cream cupcake but omg the cream cheese icing on the red velvet cupcake is delish (nice subtle tang and not overly sweet)! As for the New York cookies, I wouldn't say they're really Levain-like, but standing on their own they're still good cookies! Missing the crispy exterior but the interior is nicely soft and slightly gooey. I specifically tried the choc chip cookie (standard taste) and the cookies & cream cookie (I really enjoyed this one! Fan of the trickles of white chocolate ganache). Service was a bit cold. The lady who assisted me was no-smiles and there was conveyor-like communication from her. What I will give props to (and I wished more bakeries did this) is that she asked if I had any food allergies before confirming my order.
