Our first dining review of yummy Asian I've reviewed them in the past for takeout. Starts off quite a contemporary set up very nice. Interesting combinations of Chinese food and sushi options to mix and match with some Thai options as well. My wife and I opted to go different directions this evening she started off with the wonton egg drop soup which was very good as expected and then went to Mushu pork one of her go to so I was a very nice toilet dish as expected. For me with a little approval from the wife we ordered the sizzling seafood delight and change the sauce from the brown sauce to a garlic sauce and added extra bok choy. Certainly a nice assortment to fresh seafood of course the crab is sea legs, never know Exactly what that really means. It came out sizzling that is for sure and it was fresh it was full of flavor I'm glad we went to garlic sauce it really gave it a little bit more flavor than the profile of brown sauce. Nice for a shrimps scallops half a lobster tail and of course the sea legs piece put the vegetables windows broccoli bok choy carrots mushrooms water chestnuts. Overall yummy Asian is yummy and is a really good option considering all the other Chinese places in the area that don't always deliver on flavor. This place used to be my go to for Chinese food. I don't know what happened if they changed cooks but we spent close to $100 yesterday and the food was awful the wonton soup tasted like water, the boneless ribs seem to have more salt in it than anything else. Very, very disappointed. read more

Hubby found this place on Yelp and basically dragged me here as soon as he could because he loved it so much....and he was right! As we were doing some home improvements in our home, we decided to take a break and venture off and get to know the area more. Hubby suggested Yummy Asian first and at first I thought it would be like any other Chinese restaurant, but it had so much more to offer with it's variety of Japanese and Thai dishes as well. Now having come here many times we have had a few of their dishes and each one has been delicious and fresh. If you order something simple like a chicken with broccoli, you get bright green and crisp broccoli versus a soggy mush. We have also had the BEST General Tso here, very crispy and just the right amount of kick. As for their other dishes, I highly recommend the chicken red curry with pineapple, it is a bit spicy but what an amazing array of flavors. It literally is a party in your mouth from the milky coconut sauce to the citrusy pineapple chunks, you will not be disappointed. Another one of my favorites is the Walnut Chicken, although it is really for those who enjoy sweet flavors, it is amazing. The chicken comes out pipping hot and crispy with a decadent cream sauce drizzled over it, topped with giant walnuts- somehow all these textures come together to form the perfect dish. We have yet to try their sushi, but I'm sure we will soon. The restaurant itself is always very clean and plenty of empty tables. Most of their customers seem to get their food to go. The only downfall of this place is that it doesn't deliver, so many times I've wished they did! Came here on Easter Sunday. The place wasn't busy, so enjoyed a nice quiet family lunch. The service was good, but what stands out is the food. Tried the chicken corn soup, which came in a huge bowl, enough for 2+ people. It hit the spot, true comfort food. For our entrees, enjoyed szechuan beef, which was pretty standard, and mango chicken (Thai dish). The mango chicken is absolutely delicious! The right spice level complemented by sweetness. I have been to Yummy Asian twice and have had positive experiences both times. The service is quick and very friendly, and the food is pretty good as well. I have tried various salads, including the seaweed salad and shrimp avocado salad, the hot and sour soup, and chicken with broccoli/shrimp with broccoli, and all were tasty and fresh. However, their entrees could use a bit more spice to really bring out the flavor. Despite its lackluster appearance from the outside, the interior decor is very modern and aesthetically appealing. Before this last visit On 7/28/23 I ate there 4 years ago and had an issue with the food. I ordered the General Tao's chicken and had ask them white meat only in which it cost more am fine with that. Am not fine When they served me dark meat and fried dough with no meat in it .We'll it happen again on my last visit this time they charged me $4 extra for the white meat and did not give me much white meat and also gave me fried dough with no white meat I will not ever as long as I live go back . For one thing they charge too much ,serve very little and one doesn't get what one pays for. I have dined at Yummy Asian on several occasions over the past year or two - so I suppose its time for Yelp comments. I enjoy the food, but my favorite thing about this place is the decor. The restaurant itself is darkly lit and there is a wall that features vertical lines broken by huge backlit pastel disks of varying colors. Combined with soft Asian music in the background, the effect is very soothing. A few weeks ago, I enjoyed a light lunch of a yellowtail roll and lunch special of dry sauteed string beans and rice that was just perfect. Salty and snappy! The white rice here is very good, and has a lovely fragrance and texture. This evening, my husband and I shared a spicy tuna roll and an order of Kung Pao beef with peanuts. I often feel self-conscious ordering one dinner to be shared among two people, but honestly, most dinner portions in restaurants serve enough for two diminutive folks to happily chow down to our hearts' content and avoid overeating (which is so easy to do)! The Kung Pao beef dish was enjoyable with its nice proportion of beef slices and crunchy vegetables (including sliced bell pepper, baby corn, water chestnuts, and celery). I would enjoy a little more heat, but now that I have a sense of their baseline, it seems plausible that the kitchen would oblige with kicking it up a notch or two on request. Given the neighborhood demographics, it is understandable that the sushi menu is limited to the most popular fish selections - but what they serve hits the mark. Our spicy tuna roll was spot on. One little odd thing. Some of the pages of the menu have many colors in the background - so the text can be difficult to read - especially in the dim light. The service is very pleasant and patient. Yummy Asian (no relation to Yummy Sushi) is a surprisingly decent Chinese restaurant. Their menu has a large Japanese Roll offering, but little actual sushi, nor Thai cuisine. If you stick with the Chinese dishes, you should be quite satisfied. We came in for a Friday dinner. The house was nicely appointed. The service was attentive. We ordered the Walnut Shrimp, Beef & Chicken Hunan and a Dragon Roll. The shrimp dish consisted of 8 or 9 Jumbos, Tempura breaded, with a sweet mayo sauce covering the entire pile of crustaceans. It wasn't the best I ever had, but was still quite enjoyable. The Hunan style beef and chicken was also well done. This approach uses less straight ahead red chilis, and substitutes a mix of chili and black beans. It retains a lot of heat, but not the fire breathing kind. The meat was tender and did not seem to have been frozen. The Dragon Roll was only okay. The small amount of fish within the construct of rice, avo, seaweed, etc., was not the freshest. The ginger was colored orange, rather than the natural white, and the wasabi was likewise artificially dyed green. Clearly, the sushi guy had gone to Sushi College and finished the basic course in slicing and rolling, but was not working with top ingredients. My friends enjoyed the chance to speak with management in Mandarin, and that seemed reciprocal. Probably don't get many organically grown Chinese stopping in. read more

Decided to stop by and try this place again because I see it all the time going to the local grocer and the last time I ate there was years and years ago and I think it may have even been different management. Long story short I didn't even order because the kid who was working the front seating area never bothered to look up to acknowledge and greet me. He just kept glued into his phone. I stood for 2 minutes before I just walked out of the place. I don't think I will be going back. I figure he didn't need the business as his phone seemed to be more important. Service was kind of slow when I went on a Friday night, but they have their whole family helping out. If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, this is not the place for you. While we were standing outside the restaurant, we weren't sure if we'll go in. The name is not a typical name for an Asian restaurant and the facade didn't make it inviting enough. But then this place has a high rating in Yelp so we decided to go in. The interior was a delightful surprise, very modern and playful vibe. We ordered Sesame Chicken, Sizzling Thai Delight, and Fried Banana for dessert. The two entrees came with white rice. All of those were really yummy and the serving was very generous. We enjoyed the food and best of all we only paid $45 for everything we ordered! I have been here a few times. I thought the shrimp pad thai was really good. Today however I ordered some sesame beef. It was $14.25 for take out with brown rice. Very surprised with how much I liked this place considering it's odd location in a Fairless Hills strip mall! Inside is super trendy, small and quant. Came here for a friend's birthday dinner. I got 2 rolls and I was very pleased with the quantity and the price. We also shared the duck, beef lo mein, and chicken fried rice. It was so fresh and tasty. For my friends birthday they made a huge dessert plate with different ice cream flavors! It was complementary, thoughtful, and delicious. The staff is very tentative and friendly. It looks very nice and modern. It is beautiful inside. There is a sushi bar, where you can sit at and order sushi. You have a vast menu to choose from. It has sushi, japanese, chinese and thai on the menu. Their prices are on point with other asian restaurants in the area. We have tried their chicken lo mein and the general tso's chicken. I am very picky with the fried rice. It was good, but I am hard to please when it comes to fried rice. The steamed white rice is like sticky rice, which was good. I placed an order for shrimp & broccoli - take-out. I ate the surface of my order and saved the rest for the next day. The next day my daughter asked me could she have the remainder of my order and I said yes.
