You must join but the annual fee is reasonable. They have two major events and these help hem be low cost to the community. We do most of the summer events and folks that are not members can pay to do activities and just pay more than a member. pearl, Melissa, Tony and Kyle are great staff. I am forgetting some, sorry.

But due to work, I have only been able to take a few classes throughout the years. But I do love the variety of classes that they offer and how constant their schedule is. If you are looking for a Japanese school for your child to attend, they offer that. If you would like to just learn more about the community through the different cultural classes, just sign up for the emails and you can be alerted for upcoming classes that they offer. I've taken amigurumi (crochet), ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement), and a cooking class. All of the instructors are great and mostly volunteers. So it just shows you what a great community there is. They have festivals through the year and also help put on the West Covina Cherry Blossom Festival. They also host the West Covina obon at the center but it is organized by the Buddhist church which is based out of the community center. So there is just a lot of activities that you can get involved with.

It was amazing. Spacious. Two queen beds, a chair, bureau, large flat screen TV, etc. We had a lot of space and a very quiet room. Decent size fridge and a microwave as well. We got breakfast cards with our stay and had terrific meals each morning from Burger Theory. A couple of days we took our meals to go so we could have them as lunch at the fair. This is clearly the premiere place to stay in Yuma. It was great to see several pilots and flight attendants checking in one night and several members of the Army or National Guard another night. It's a short shuttle trip from the hotel to the airport. As bustling as the hotel was at times, we were never neglected. The staff was always top notch - from the manager on duty to the ladies in the Burger Theory, to the cleaning staff. Highly recommend staying here the next time you're in the area.

I have been greeted each time too. My room is huge and I don't feel like I'm away from home, the bed is so comfy, and the room is so quiet. There are lights in various parts of the room so I can read and not disturb my DH while he's sleeping in. The bathroom is great, easy to access, nice hot showers, and I have a fridge for my cold waters each morning. I'm very pleased and grateful for a nice room, great service and close by food. Thank you

Right at the entrance, there was a shade tent with a guy trying to sell $5 parking for an art festival happening that weekend. I politely passed. My goal was the Ski Inn for a cold one, and honestly, it was blazing hot, not the day to wander the dusty town. The vibe was surreal. It felt like a mini Burning Man. Ironics were roaming around town in their get-ups, hanging out at RVs and Rivians. There was an overall strange mix of art and chaos. Bombay Beach itself is pretty rough around the edges. There was lots of "art" mixed in with junk and debris. I snapped some photos and wandered the playa, or whatever they call it here. Some pieces were interesting. My favorite was the Elon Musk installation. Eventually, I made it to the Ski Inn, a classic tourist dive bar hangout. I grabbed a cold beer, did a bit of people-watching, and soaked in the scene before heading out. BTW, same place Anthony Bourdain visited sometime around 2006/7 filming his show "No Reservations." Bombay Beach is definitely an oddball destination. Not sure if I would recommend roaming around when there is a big festival, but it has its quirky charm. I would like to return when it is a bit calmer, though honestly, it may just be a spot to experience briefly rather than linger. 3.5 stars

We parked in the town and walked around, as many of the properties have artwork on them as well. Then you have to crest a little hill to actually see the beach. There are things to see all over the beach, it just depends how far you like to walk. Definitely bring shoes that can get mucky, as the sand can be wet and sloppy. It was a super unique experience, and we were glad to do it. You are definitely out in an area with little or no retail, gas stations, restaurants, etc. so be prepared for that.

While we are new finding assistance, we made the right call finding the Community Access Center in Riverside with your team Leonard Ortega, Maria Rojas, Faustino, Mario Janesin. They provided a lot of useful tools that can be applied today as we need lots of resources at this time. We will be back and appreciate all the support to keep my dad alive! We had a terrible experience at the hemet hospital and now to have my dad fully disabled, is a shock and with everyone telling us it can take up to two weeks for assistance. The Community Access Center saved the DAY!! While we will still need in the future diapers, bed linens and cognitive items for care.. Hoyer Lifts, mobility bed / chair and as my dad can't care for himself at this time. Plus any suggestions, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so very much! This organization is an important community resource for all Riverside County residents with disabilities. Besides helping to secure equipment, Leonard also explained how the different businesses and organizations work together to rehabilitate used equipment for those needing it. I highly recommend that if your family has equipment such as a powerchair that is no longer needed, to donate the equipment to CAC. They connect with the community and can provide the equipment where it is most needed.
