Dr G is a very nice man, however, 2 yrs later I still have burns all over my calves from the aggressive laser he did. I am extremely upset and was told by 2 dermologists these burns will not go away. This is my first review (ever!) on Yelp, but I'd like to share that Dr. Gorodisky is absolutely one of the best doctors (medical or cosmetic) I have ever known. His kindness, honesty, and surgical skill is absolutely outstanding. He is truly an artist. I just completed a neck and lower face lift with him in January. I really didn't think there was much hope for my cross-hatched, wrinkly neck and suddenly sagging jowls...but now only a couple months out, I am completely healed and looking waaaaaay younger than I ever expected. Even my closest friends don't know I had surgery, but are commenting that I've never looked more "happy" and "relaxed." It's interesting to me that my review titled "forgiving what you can't forget" after a disastrous removal of implants and tummy tuck that has left me horribly scarred for life, has never been posted on any of Dr G's sites! Do not use this office for anything other than a facial would be my advice! Three years later I'm going to a different office for the fourth procedure next week in an attempt to fix what was broken... it never will but it will be an improvement on his awful mess. I love Dr G and his entire staff. I went in by referral and got my eyebrows micro bladed by the best Artist in the entire county! She truly is an actual Artist. The results have lasted about two years and I do need to get a touch up but I'm always busy with work. I had amazing results and all I can say is you get what you pay for. I consulted with several top notch surgeons for my mommy makeover and have decided to hire Dr. G for my procedure to be done later this year. He explained everything and had excellent bedside manner. Again, I feel you get what you pay for... I really like that the surgery site is in house and they are close to the hospital in case anything happens. I was referred by my friend whose sister had a breast reduction from another Dr, but that Dr wasn't available for a follow up problem (I think she moved away)and Dr G.stepped in to help. She wasn't even his patient, yet he had her meet him at his office ON A WEEKEND so he could examine her and see what the problem was. That's the type of surgeon I wanted so I met with Dr G to discuss my own breast reduction. He was patient, respectful of my questions and didn't rush me. He was able to get my surgery approved thru my insurance so my out of pocket cost was minimal! My neck and back problems are so much better and my breasts are now in proportion with my body. They look like those of a much younger woman and you can barely see any scarring. Oh and I have full sensation in both my nipples. My breasts are no longer pendulous and drooping down towards my waist, they are beautiful! I do not regret my decision to have this surgery; it was an excellent decision and I highly recommend Dr Gorodisky. I had my first Botox consultation and treatment today with Joanne, the nurse practitioner. She has got to be the most patient and accommodating person ever. I had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Gorodisky. He was awesome! A friend and I did it together. We travelled all the way from Maui to do it. I was nervous and prayed that this Dr. was as good as his reviews. He was friendly and made me feel comfortable. I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the results. I was afraid that he was going to make them way bigger than what I wanted but in the end I'm glad I put my faith in his decision and trusted him. I love love love my new girls. Everyone comments on how nice and natural they look. We only had 10 days to have the surgery and be ok to get on a plane to fly home. The procedure went well. We did have too have someone fly up to take care of us for the first 3 days however, by the 5th day we were up and about and enjoying the sights of Cali. The staff was awesome & friendly. Reina was the bomb! The only complaint I would have was my friend had to give me all the info. I emailed questions and asked for my quote several times but no one ever responded to me directly. They contacted my friend to follow up with her but never once tried to call or email me. Felt a little left out in the planning but still considered this a minor hiccup in my overall experience. The facilities felt nice and clean which was a big deal for me. To my Hawaii sisters..I would recommend making the trip to see this Dr. The pricing was so much more reasonable than Hawaii. I had a scar from a previous breast cancer surgery. I also had size F breast that I DID NOT LIKE and caused me back pain for years. Dr. G was the second doctor I went to for an opinion. Not only did he spend a lot of time answering all of my questions but he answered more. When I was given a quote for the surgery he was a quarter of the price of the famous Westlake Village surgeon. I am now a size B+ - C and I'm so happy with his work. It's been 4 months now and after the surgery he had me go in every week for 3 weeks, then every 2-3 weeks, then once a month, now I'm done. My sister and I went in for our first consultation , Dr.Gorodisky was knowledgeable and friendly , explained the procedures and the complications, as well as recovery , I emailed a question and he responded the same day!!!!!! I invested quite a bit of time researching surgeons , which anyone should do considering surgery I went to 4 very well respected and referred plastic surgeons in the Los Angeles area and found flags with each. I drove from Redo do Beach to have Dr Gorodisky perform fairly extensive work on my face including rynoplasty, lower face lift, and eye brow lift . During my first interview Dr Gorodisky was the only Dr to listen and understand my objectives and recommended a procedure to hep with my droopy eye lids. He also explained carefully the work to be done and the likely results and is highly rated. All of this said, I highly recommend getting and speaking to references first hand. True I am somewhat of a crusty old guy but even still found Dr Gorodisky's receptionist, charming, conscientious, and efficient. Another key area is what surgical center they work out of. Is it near there office and near/associated with a respected hospital? Research the centers and check where you would end up should something go wrong. The surgical center is right next door (in the same building) as the Oxnard office. Further, the people there were equally conscientious and efficient. The weekend before my surgery the anesthesiologist called to discuss my medical records and inquire abut any concerns I might have. It has been 8 weeks since the surgery. The results have turned out very much as the Dr said including the process of recovery. The work was balanced, fixed several problems, and looks so natural many could not tell what was done. Truly took 10 years or more off my face. Another crusty engineering manager told "really made a difference and really worth doing if you can". After about a year, I had some concerns as some wounds did not heal. When I tried to speak the the doctor the receptionist refused to put me thru and calls remained unanswered. Several years later and I still get occasional bleeding and never received a follow up call. Also, despite an assurance the work would last a good 5 to 10 years I am already seeing significant droopage in my neck. I've since had additional work done in the Sacramento area which went much better and where the doctor requested me to come in for follow ups and was available for questions. read more

When I called for the consultation I asked if they perform that procedure they said yeah upon my arrival and speaking to the doctor he just looked at the area and said it wouldn't be possible, I had done researched on it and all the different procedures. when I asked about them he just gave me short answers so I gave up so I thanked him for his time and left... on the way out I was in a hurry to get out of that place receiptionist stops me and asks me to pay I show her the receipt that I paid when I arrived. I had 8 year old breast implants that needed revision. I had a severe encapsulated implant, double D size breasts that I wanted smaller and I definitely needed a lift. I was not happy with my first surgeon and truthfully did not research the doctor or procedure sufficiently; if at all.
